This salon is DISGUSTING!! I get a brand new acrylic set every two weeks from my normal tech. She was on vacation so I decided to try this salon. BIG MISTAKE. The stations are so unsanitary... the guy who did my nails picked his nails the entire time. It was sickening. They really have no idea what they are doing. My nails are thick, crooked, and peeling. He put so much dip powder on my nails it is all over my fingers. I have to get them soaked off and they did them yesterday. This is just down right embarrassing. My wife and I came here to try it out. Upon walking in I should have left. The filth on the walls oozed down like Slimer from ghost busters was blasted against the wall. Well.... I arrived 10 mins before my appointment on 5/30. No big deal, there was a guy who did my nails and he was at booth four. Older guy, slim stature. So I got a full set and pedicure. I got regular polish on my toes. As I sat there I watch how he did my pedicure. He did not put and gel on the bottom of my feet in or to get the dead skin off. He just scrubbed them and it was a poor job. Then when applying the polish he had me sit under the drier so my feet could dry. He told me that once they are dry in 15 mins he would apply the clear coat. I told the lady I was dry and he can finish up. She came up to me and "he already did". I grabbed my things and proceeded to pay and leave. I told the lady when a paying customer says something wasn't done.... You should believe them. (Clear Coat) he then came up to me and wanted argue. I came here on a Monday afternoon so there was 0 waiting time. A guy, I think the owner, did my acrylic full set. he was very quick and after correcting just a few mistakes, was able to execute my desired shape perfectly. A woman did my pedicure, which I didn't hate but didn't absolutely love either. All in all, it's some of the best service and ambiance I've had in a nail shop in a long time. I live in Chicago, so im used to constant price upcharging, long waitlists, and general half-assery. This shop of a breath of fresh air, and for that will be back. Told me it was raised spots from nail polish stains. NOPE ... it's a FUNGIS infection I got from her pedicures! Now my great nail is split and permanently damaged. Decided to try this salon on a whim. It was 3 of us (one being a child) we initially waited 10mins before being sent to the back to wait again for 3 pedicures 1 manicure. As let them sit my party before me. I see other people coming in getting work done but didn't want to assume (maybe they had an appt) but no. They just made me wait for 30mins clearly for shits and giggles because they eventually asked me (pedicure?) by this time my party was finishing up so I opted out of getting my toes done. I am really upset with this place. I was coming here as regular and satisfied with my nails. (Side note, I did find the owner to be money hungry...as soon as you are done she wants you to pay. Like you are going to wottle out with wet toes to your car and not pay! This is very annoying and doesn't make for a relaxing time at a spa--if you call it that). At any rate, last time I went in, I got my normal. Pedicure, manicure, and eye brows waxed. Sad to say when I got my pedicure, the owner (who is the money hungry lady I was telling you about and the person who does my services) cut my toe nail too far that it started bleeding. She of course tried to hide it until I notice my toe burning and then I said "I think my toe is bleeding, you cut my nail too far down". She of course tried to deny it and say that she didn't. I think I know my feet better than anyone else! She then puts alcohol on my foot without even telling me, and it's burning to hell! I was beyond pissed because I prefer to use peroxide or something that doesn't burn. The owner then tries to put more on there after I told her not to! I had to yell at her for her to stop and get the point. After this, I was beyond upset and really just wanted to leave. However, I really was in need to get this done because I had a wedding to attend so I just put up with it--but shame on me for this. She didn't apologize nor did she offer to knock off money for my services. I even confronted her and asked, "don't you think you should allow me to have my pedicure free since you injured my toe"? Sadly, she mad a rude joke, thinking that it would be funny, and I told her flat out "I don't think that's funny at all". I was an idiot in this and ended up paying full price for my services and did tip just because I didn't have the courage to just walk out and not pay anything. So, this is my fault but I will not go back. 1. Unprofessional 2. Rude 3. Think you know everything, and you don't (owner, please listen to your customers) 4. Every time we get a pedicure here I say I'll never go back. It's been good for a no-appointment-necessary quick pedi. BUT there is no uniform pedicure: sometimes there are hot towels, sometimes not. My last pedi was Wednesday & the man who did it looked like he'd walked off the street. He was wearing jeans and a sweater rather than something that looked professional. No name tag. No hello. He used what looked like a construction worker's power tool on my nails. Had never seen a machine like that before. But no nail file. Lots of cleaning supplies just sitting around on the floor. Horrible experience with nail tech Amy. The work quality on my daughter nails were horrible. I noticed extra acrylic under the nail, and the sides of her nails were not fully polished. Overall, Amy did a poor job and refused to correct/fix her nails. Although I had a bad experience with Amy today, I said thank you after paying for the services and she refused to respond. How rude!!! I've had a few other bad experiences with her in the past, however, I decided to give her another chance. The toilet had a piece of cardboard over the back and they have not replaced the broken lid for a few years and there were no papertowels to dry your hands. However, I now have to find a new shop after the lack of customer service by the lady who runs this place. She did a manicure for my uncle who lives out of state. His nails were dirty, the polish was all outside the nail, his nails were uneven. And when I asked her if she could clean them up, she took 2 more clients ahead of him before I had to ask someone to remind her. She begin yelling and was rough with his hands to the point he had to ask her to stop snatching his hands. I came back to have 2 nails fixed a day later. Jason was not there. Another gentleman told me he could fix it. She walked up and had him tell me no they were about to close. She is again yelling and this was after I sat for 15 mins. I wish I had checked out the reviews before coming here. Came in to get a fill in and I do not like how my nails came out at all. Also, the person doing them was rushing the entire time. I got gel polish and you can see the small air bubbles from the polish. Also, the person doing them didn't even let the machine beep for me to switch hands while I was putting them under the light for them to set. My acrylic was also laid down too thick. I wasn't enthusiastic about this place. I got the Luxury Deluxe Spa Pedi ($35) and a regular mani ($12). My total was $60. I regret that I didn't ask about the discrepancy. The work itself that Amy did was mediocre. The leg massage during the pedi was not 15 minutes long as the disruption says and she hardly gripped my legs for the massage. It was more of a light rub. The exfoliating treatment was 'placed' on my legs but not rubbed into my legs. Then in the mani, she left both colored polish and clear polish on my skin. Just overall did a mediocre job. Frankly, the luxury deluxe pedi wasn't worth the additional money or time. If I come back, I'll just get the regular pedi--which I've had before, and wasn't much different from the luxury deluxe pedi. Also note, I was hesitant about going here because of the poor reviews. I didn't have issues with rudeness or pinched skin like previous reviewers had. Maybe they've trained employees better. read more

This place was horrible! Me and my friend came to get our nails done. I wanted a full set and she needed a fill. The guy that started doing my nails could not shape my nails. They were thick and looked as if i needed to get a fill.. even though i was coming for a brand new full set. After repeatedly telling him i was unhappy, i was switched to the guy in the far left corner who fixed my nailed and made them 10 times better from what the first guy had done. My friend had a girl do her nails and they messed up her nails. Made her nails crooked, the nail polish was all over her fingers. She also had them get them fixed by the same guy that fixed my nails. BACTERIA BEWARE! POOR sanitation practice. My nailbeds are seriously damaged and may take at least 6 months to a year to grown out and repair. I have been tolerant of the rudeness from staff in my 3 visits but I must speak up to prevent this type of infection from spreading to another person that decides to use this place. I was foolish and thirsty after being on quarantine lockdown and used their service 3 times consecutive. My nails were healthy prior to my first visit back in November 2020. My second visit I asked technician if green color on my nail was mold or fungus he said "no" and used a drill to file it away. He was confident it was "normal". After he drilled and filed my nails were weak and brittle and began lifting several days later. When the nails fell off, at least 4 of my nail beds were horribly green, ragged and ugly. I sought medical attention and was told this is Pseudomonas bacterial infection. They DO NOT practice good sanitation and they DO NOT care about the health of your nails. Confronting them is useless they are rude and dismissive and know that they will win in litigation if they pretend they don't understand or speak good English. Do not be fooled. Support those that respect and care about your overrall health. read more
