I would get braids in my hair, wearing wigs and may not see Amir for 3- 5 months sometimes. I come back with my hair unhealthy and sometimes shorter. He is so wonderful. He has it shampoo, deep condition & etc. and after a few visits my hair healthy again. He always welcome me back after my long period of absent. and always make my hair heathy and keeps it growing. When I called to schedule the appointment, Saad, the owner said it was fine to walk-in any time before 8pm. The shop was easy to find and there is plenty of parking. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that I was immediately able to receive service. My normal stylist typically ends up overbooking himself and inevitably I end up waiting 30 minutes or so as he finishes the previous client. A basic wash, blow dry and style is $30 which is pretty good since I usually pay $45, plus costs to park since the shop is downtown. It was $10 extra for the deep conditioner and another $10 for the trim. Still pretty good in comparison to other shops. It's not a lavish/luxury spot, so don't expect a spa type setting...but it's comfortable and clean. Saad provided good advice regarding my hair care and worked at a reasonable pace (not too quickly like he was in a rush...not too slowly as if he wasn't respecting my time). I'd definitely recommend giving this salon a try.
