I don't know where to begin. I needed my nails done ASAP and since I work near L'Enfant this was my quickest option. If you have 0 other options than to go here just make sure you don't get stuck with "Miss Tammy". (Kid you not) she did a total of 5 layers of polish on my fingers. My nails lasted 1 week before starting to peel off (see photo). She was also very rough. I'm shocked my cuticles didn't start to bleed. She must be the owner, co-owner, or relative of the owner based on the sassy attitude she gave to other staffers. And then to top it all off, halfway through my manicure a cockroach came crawling out of nowhere on the wall that was inches from my body. I know that most nail salons are a hit or miss, but this was worse than a miss. This was just absolutely awful. Don't go here... there's a nail salon right down the street at the Wharf that's similarly priced, cleaner, and does better work. read more

Love this place. It's brand new, the space is nice, and I got a neat and lovely gel mani (including removal) in under an hour. My technician was lovely. Definitely a "no frills" manicure, the hand massage was brief and my cuticles didn't get moisturizer / oil or whatever is usually put on them elsewhere, but I am so happy with the results. $35 for a gel manicure including take off is a GREAT price, so I'm more than happy and will be back many times! read more

I've only been here for eyelash extensions twice but never had a good experience. I did get pretty good results but the process of actually getting the lashes was terrible. Was told it would take an hour and a half but it took 3 hours both times. When I found out there was a new lash tech I tried to make a third appointment and the whole time on the phone she tried to get me to get cluster lashes so someone else could do them. Finally made an appointment for individual lashes and she texted me the night before and said she had a doctor's appointment. So honestly seems like she didn't want to do them. I feel bad because they are very friendly there... but they do horrendous nails. The pedicure was ok. They didn't use a base coat which I thought was odd and I got some cuts. After the pedi I got dip powder and I have sooo many regrets. I had been growing my nails out and the filed way too much, and now all my fingers are literally different lengths and I look crazy. My thumbs look like they are from 2 different people because one is so long and one is so short. They only did 2 dip coats and it got it all over my fingers, tons of painful cuts, and expensive. It looks so bad. I want to remove right away and get redone somewhere else but now I need to wait for all my cuts to heal. I'm very sad. read more

One of the worst mani pedis I have had in a while. They are definitely targeting gels vs normal services. The place was very disorganized, they kept losing my polish, they didn't have a lot of your normal polish so I had to use DND or whatever brand. The polish was streaking and every single nail chipped by the next day. On top of that she sped through the cuticle and nail shaping portion of the manicure leaving a bunch of jagged edges. I pass by this shop all the time on my way to work. So I decided to go in and just have a polish change because I was giving my nails a break from the gel. The female manicurist I was given already seemed annoyed that that's all I wanted, as it's not a big ticket item. She was not very friendly from that point on after she tried offering everything else under the sun and I declined. She was clearly not concerned with my nail health, only $$$. That would've been fine with me as long as she was skilled at what she did. She proceeded to rush through the job, leaving my nails rough after filing them, sloppily painting them, not cleaning up the edges, and throwing a clear coat on. The pictures are what resulted. While they were drying, I noticed things stuck in the paint that had been painted over with the clear coat and asked one of the male manicurists who was free if he could fix it. He just painted over it and left it at that. I was on my way to an appointment so I left but decided the next day I wanted them redone. It was a horrible job and I usually don't accept a crappy product when I'm paying my money for it. So I go back. They don't have time for me so the same guy that slapped to extra coat of polish on the first time, rushes through the job and my nails look like crap again. So I talk to the manager and explain that just because I'm not paying $50-60 for acrylics or gel doesn't mean the quality should differ. If they would've done a half way decent job it was possible I might have come back again and paid for something more expensive. It was clear he really could've cared less and said something about how they weren't done and disappeared. So they will never see me or my money again. I caution anyone who thinks about going to this place. They have absolutely horrible customer service and they do shoddy work. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Newish nail shop located inside of Lenfant Plaza. I arrived during lunch time on and Wednesday and was sat right away for a gel mani/pedi. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. The shop was clean and modern. They also give wine, water, or tea during your service. No complaints. I will be back! read more

This nail saloon did a great job on my nails and showed me a new way to get my nails done with a powder that lasts as long as gel and is less damaging to my nails. This is a new salon in L'enfant Plaza. Nice chairs, clean and the staff was very friendly. I had a manicure and a pedicure. The milk & honey pedicure massage was amazing. The massage with the manicure was really wonderful as well. A lot better than what I have experienced at other salons. My nails look great. I recently moved to the Southwest neighborhood and I think I have finally found my goto nail salon! I look forward to going back. read more

I got pink shellac french tips done here and they were awful. My nails were bumpy, the tip lines were crooked, pink trailing into the part of the nails where it shouldn't be. I complained and the manager (Anthony) gave me a discount. Apparently the lady who did my nails is known for being bad at her job. Anthony asked me to give them a chance to fix it. I told him I had somewhere to be and I would never come back to this place. He insisted so I told him I would come back the following week. He said he would personally fix them himself. The next week I returned when I could get time away from work and even though I called ahead that day, Anthony did not take care of my nails himself. Despite having called ahead, I had to explain why I was there and why I was getting my shellac french tips redone so soon. Eventually Anthony intervened and I was able to get the nails re-done though by someone else. They were a thousand percent better but still not great. Anthony then tells me to pay up. Imagine my shock. Why would you charge me if you were fixing a botched job that you insisted on fixing??? Remember I didn't even want to come back but he insisted on me giving them a chance to fix my nails. In the end, I didn't pay because it made no sense but as you can imagine it's left a bad taste in my mouth. Avoid this place like I will be from now on. Hopefully they can get some better management who will treat customers with more respect. read more

I don't think I'll ever go back there again. I went to get a simple, basic manicure, and a few silk wraps due to some damage done by another salon. My friend and I went in at a relatively slow time, there weren't many clients being serviced at the time. It was 4:00 p.m. The lady, or ladies rather, that did my manicure were not attentive. Did NOT properly silk wrap my nails. Then, the "massage" was her slathering lotion on my hands, BEFORE me washing them. Usually the massage is the last step. The main tech told me to wash my hands, and when I went back to my chair she was gone. She comes back 15 minutes later, eating. I overheard one lady leave because she had been waiting to have a service done, and then another lady was like "oh, but I thought I was next!". Hot mess. I left there at 5:15 with a poorly, half-done manicure, cuz oh yea! I didn't even have time to get them polished. Then, as soon as I got to my car, one of my nails broke. Soooo yea. My visit to this nail salon was terrible!...totally unprofessional...I normally don't go to any and every nail salon, because I'll admit I'm particular, specially when it comes to my nails, but I'm sure most women are...Also I have a wonderful nail tech that I've been going to for years... Nevertheless I decided to give this salon a chance because one of the nail techs who at the time I didnt know was actually the (owner) noticed my nails several times in passing and told me I should come to the salon and let him do my nails...so I finally go and the same guy greets me, he sits at the front desk soon as you come in..he's doing my nails and everything was fine at first, while he was working I was of course observing and checking out my nails while he switched hands and I guess that irritated him, I asked him to fix two nails that werent looking right...So I guess he grew even more irritated...while he's doing my nails he's telling me that "when customers don't trust and let him do what he wants and if they ask to many questions he says "I tell them they don't know nothing " I tell them that they can go, they can GET OUT" his exact words...very unprofessional! I washed my hands and proceeded to sit back down, so he could put clear polish on my nails, there was acrylic residue around my fingers and it wasn't coming off with the soap and water, so I simply asked him was he able to remove it...He then goes off rasing his voice telling me that's why I told you wash your hands! "You don't know how to wash your hands"?! I tried my best to keep my composer...because I am 6 mths pregnant..i said fine are you going to finish my nails he says" No im done with you, wash your hands and get out! Waving his hand in my face, several times.. He said I'm not doing nothing else I don't want your payment just get out, you cant come here no more, get out! I was in complete disbelief that this man was treating a pregnant women like he did, not only that your suppose to be a professional business owner not a good look at all! So we're going back and forth and he says I'm calling the police..I tell him that's fine because he was totally in the wrong..I waited til secretary came and this man totally switches up his attitude, tried to act like he done nothing wrong...They were very understanding to what I told them and had a conversation with the owner and he gave me a half ass apology...Even with all that i still tried to pay once again and he refused my payment again..I left it at that and left...I've never in my life had an experience like that...If I were you guys I would think twice about going to this establishment.. read more
