They rush through your service then charge a high amount for bad service. The last time we went they did a terrible job and I guess when we checked out they didn't charge correctly. If I could give double zero stars I would... the man who did my nails was way to nail file happy, my nails were very uneven, he had to fix several of them MULTIPLE TIMES. And still couldn't get it right. My nails are covered in the dipping powder after I left the salon. There is glue or something all over my nails, they are thick in some parts. Overall I'm very disappointed AGAIN!!! I've given this nail salon like 5-6 chances and I'm always disappointed, I will for sure never go back.. they are the WORST place ever, I agree with the other reviewers, unless you want to throw money down the drain I wouldn't go!! If I could give zero stars I would! Do not come to this place!! Worst experience ever!! I told the lady I wanted regular nails and she gave me gel instead and charged me $25 extra! I told her several times when she kept asking me if I wanted get that I just wanted regular!!! My nails were two diff colors so I asked her to fix green and she was giving me attitude and was super rude and made me uncomfortable. They made a huge scene and were bad mouthing me. I was baffled by the negative reviews as Ive been going to Luxx off and on for years and never had a bad experience. Some better than others but never bad. Yesterday I went in for acrylic fills with gel polish and had hands down the best looking nails I've ever had when I walked out. Ask for Andy. I will be scheduling with him from now on. Seriously folks, the salon is clean, spacious and beautiful. The staff are all friendly in my experiece and the gentleman that seems to be manager? I decided to go into this salon because it was next-door to the tanning salon that I use. BIG MISTAKE. At first I was happy to see that they had one of the best color selections compared to other salons but the service was absolutely terrible. My technician was an older gentleman who's quality of work was the worst I've seen.. my nails were thick and chunky they were not the same shape and the holographic powder was all over my fingers. 10 minutes after I left the salon my pinky finger chipped and I had to turn around and go back for a repair. When I asked about the powder all over my fingers the man working the front desk said it would "come off in the shower". Needless to say I wasn't going straight home so I had to walk around with horrible nails for the rest of the day! And the worst part is that they are one of the most expensive salons I've ever used!!!! read more

Just left #LuxxNails Burleson and this is the horrific dipped nail job they did on my Daughter, I asked for the manager/owner and the girl pictured said she was the manager, I asked her if we could get these dipped nail fixed, she said she didn't see anything wrong with them, it was not at all what my Daughter asked for, the shape, the color etc. nor was it an acceptable job, or to simply just remove these nails off, she started yelling at us and said I'm calling the police ‍ well 4 officers showed up and I had the option to pay or receive a ticket for theft of service, the police agreed that it was a horrible service but it would cost me more to go to court! I would never recommend this place, here we sit at Resort Nails getting them replaced, expensive lesson learned! read more

Horrible. Nice clean salon but sloppy and careless techs. I went in for a pedicure and a new dip set. Usually every other salon will work on both your pedicure while your they soak your old dip set, not this one. Nail tech cut my cuticle and made me bleed. My cuticles look horrible from her not taking the time to clean them up from the dip powder. I got a red which I know is messy but she seemed more worried about taking the color off her hands rather than the paying customer. read more

I thought I'd try this place as they are doing 30% off and I needed my nails done. I usually go to a place in Fort Worth but this place is payed out the exact same way so I thought I'd give it a shot. I will NOT be going back. I got my nails dipped and my toes pink with a white tip. First, in the middle of doing my nails they had my tech go take polish off someone else's toes. I thought ok they are understaffed no big deal. Then is when I started to loose patience. It took what felt like FOREVER to do my nails. I was in the salon for 2.5 hours!!!! The man doing my toes messed up and didn't even do the pink like I had asked and handed him the bottle, so he had to start over. He then started over two more times and the last time the white was all over the place. He wiped them off again and said I can't do it and went to get someone else. A nail salon that can't do as solid color and a white tip on toes is just crazy to me. I was so uncomfortable at this point , the lady came and did my toes and then moved me to a table to finish my nails. While he was putting lotion in my hands he hit the nails with the towel and just said okay your all done. I had to tell her and she then had to fix another mistake. She asked how was everything I said ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I Showed her my fingers on how messed up they looked after 2.5 hours !!! She told me I could come back another time and they would fix everything . After waiting 30 mins, I got 10 mins of service for my full set of dip. It wasn't dry before she told me to wash my hands so of course it all started coming off. I was then told "sorry, I grabbed the wrong glasses this morning so I can't see"... what the actual hell?!?! Then she was going to fix it by adding "one more layer". NO. I told her let's just take it off. So I was left w a bowl of acetone while I scrubbed this dip off. I left with no paint and a waste of 2.5 hours. NEVER again!!!! Let me start with, the technicians are AWESOME!! I have had nothing but positive experiences with the quality of my nails! Unfortunately, management is lacking. I have come on several different occasions and waited 30-45 minutes, mind you, I was told there wasn't a wait..... I got smart and made an appointment... I still waited almost 20 minutes from my appointment time. I guess that's better than 45 minutes. When I confronted the store manager or owner, he argued with me about my complaint. I told him he should consider telling the customers the truth about their "appointments" and the wait times. Let's just say we spent a good 5 minutes arguing about what was right.... I don't think he cares what customers say. If he did, he would have apologized and been done with it. Let's just say, I will not be returning. read more

This was my first time coming here and the atmosphere was lovely, the staff was nice, the only person I wasn't happy with was the younger lady working the desk. I tried to explain to her that glitter had got into my dipped nails and that I had random specks of blues, blacks, and reds in my light pink nails and I was unhappy with it. She explained that glitter had got into the powder that I had chose and that there was nothing she could do about it but could "maybe" give me $5 dollars off and since I didn't say anything or agree to that she still decided to charge me full price. This is my regular place to get my nails done now! I've been here about five times now and only had a problem once. Every visit I've made here has been very pleasant! Everyone working here has always been very nice and polite with me which I appreciate so much! To elaborate, the one time I had an issue it was with some varied thickness with the dip on my nails. Some areas were VERY thin and I was concerned that with my job at the time it could be an issue. When I went to pay, the woman who was up front (I'm horrible with names but I think her name was Tina) asked me how everything was and when I explained she was very quick to make it right for me. I had to leave right then but she told me I could come back and they would fix my nails for me AND she gave me a discount (which I didn't expect at all). Today was my second try at this nail salon, and have to say will be my last! I got a nail tech named Sam who wanted to do my nails while I got a pedicure. I don't usually have a problem with this, but in this case he was in such a hurry, and kept pulling my arm across me to do my right hand. I tried several times telling him, I have an injury to my right shoulder so him yanking it hurt. His response was a I almost finished, and then proceeded to talk about me to the other nail tech. Once he was finished filling I asked if he could make all the nails the same length, due to he was in such a hurry he did not file one hand. He again got snippy with me and began to again complain about me. I asked to talk to the manager, he said she over there, pointing at manager who was on the phone sitting in spa chair. LUXX just lost my business. I've been a regular here for close to a year. I came in for a fill after getting a full set here 9 days prior. Half started lifting and two broke off in just 9 days. They ended up charging me $5 for the repairs in addition to the fill even though I explained that I was just in for a full set and they already started to lift. When I told them that, the girl literally just pointed at the menu with the prices like I was an idiot. They also charge for "cut downs" which is absurd considering it takes 15 seconds to drill down acrylic nails. I'm giving them 2 stars for the atmosphere/location. read more

I had such high hopes for this nail salon as the service that I got when they first opened was amazing but as always all good things must come to an end. Every time I went in I got the same services done such as shape & dip for my nails and was always charged the same amount. They are currently having a customer appreciation discount as their sign says but now they are nickel and diming you for every little thing. My $40 dip ( same shape and length) that I normally get turned into a $50 dip because of shape and length which washes out the 30% special they are offering. So much for customer appreciation. I guess like always I will have to search for somewhere that won't charge me one thing initially and then change it whenever they feel like it and not even let me know until after it was done. read more
