The new tech was completely rude. What happened to customer service!?? I had received a paraffin wax the first time and then the acetone dried out my skin and they asked me to PAY for another paraffin. Never again. Worst nail salon by FAR! NEVER again!

The gal that worked with me was very conversant as well. They have a full bar and the host is also the bartender so they made us both cocktails, which are complementary Overall good experience, and we felt that the value was right as well compared to other nail salons that we visit We'd return to Luxx in the future.

She was so nice, she gave me a nice Leg Massage and Foot Massage. I was totally relaxed and she noticed. Lol I decided to get Christmas Colors of Red and White on my Toe Nails. When I told the Nail Tech what I wanted, she seemed confused but she got it right. I was pleased with the result. They also have nice Christmas Decor. See my Pictures. I noticed, when I was heading out, the Kiosk was ready for me to check out. That was a nice gesture. I also got clarification on the Stamp Card. It's one stamp no matter how many services you get in one visit. So, hurry to the Galaxy. I mean the Galaxy Nail Bar to get your Pedi just in time for the Christmas Holidays.

As my nail tech started on the gel base coat, I actually had to ask, did you already do the manicure and cuticles, etc., because I had dry skin and misshapen nails with jagged edges. She seemed surprised that I asked, but then fixed things, to some extent. The color was fine, and the massage was the usual 30-second massage most places give you with a gel manicure. Overall, worst gel manicure I've received in a long, long time. The gel pedicure was much better than the manicure, though not good enough to make me return to this nail salon. It was pretty empty inside--lots of chairs, but not a lot of clients. It's got an elegant appearance, though. On a positive note, they were able to take me on short notice.

She wanted to leave... the entire service she was very short and not happy. I have a background in cosmetology and I have a hunch this tech isn't properly licensed or trained. She reused disposable gloves, she cut the edge of my toes... past the point of exposure of my bare nail bed, she didn't use the UV lamp properly and was over curing my toes, she also wanted to send me off with gel nail push on my foot. I was OK with that but then she kept wanting to add on more stuff and kept getting up to ask her boss and then her boss would come over and tell me how much it was language barrier. It's always clean and neat and the service here is amazing. You are greeted at the door by the two young ladies who are always in a great mood and super smiling and happy all the time. We were religiously schedule every two weeks with the same nail tech all the time. There have been times where our nail techs are out and we have other people that can work on our feet. That are just as amazing as our normal techs. Everyone who is around there Mexico welcome and not just like a place where we come get our feet done but more like FAMILY.
