I like this nail salon and will try it again. For my first time going here my impression was good. I was treated when I came in. It's very clean and bright. My nails were done well I just wanted more options for them like sparkles and designs. Next time I'll have to ask for someone that specializes in more detailed work. I just left my first visit and I had to immediately post a review. My experience was great! My nail tech, Lee (if I'm remembering correctly), was friendly and very meticulous with my nails. She was gentle but thorough and they looked great even before polish. One thing I really appreciated was when she asked me if I wanted the cheese grater for my heels and then was totally understanding when I said "no thank you." She did a fabulous job on the polish, going so far as to put a coat of color under the sparkly paint so it popped. Tammy is my nail specialist who always takes great care of me. I followed her here from two other locations, and she has been making my nails beautiful for more than 15 years. She always asks what my choices are for the day. She follows through. I am glad that she is working in this lovely, clean, well appointed and upscale salon. Golden Moon seems able to make any special request look easy. They have all of the basics and also all of the fancies that one might want. I frequently see both senior folks and little ones getting their treatments done. Staff are courteous, work well together, have a positive attitude, and they are talented!!! The pedicure chairs look so relaxing! The manicure stations are clean, updated, and sparkly. I feel like someone special when ever I walk in the door. I am offered a beverage, and given a pillow for my back. The array of treatment options seem endless. I enjoy watching other clients, and seeing the smile on their faces as they interact with staff, and as they leave pleased with the artistic result of their treatments. Visited Golden Moon nail spa today, it was my first time there, I have a Grand opening at my job and needed to get my nails done, as I usually do not go to get my nails done, I wanted to for this event, and to find a place I can come to on the regular too keep them up for my job. The manager asked one of the employees to do my names, you could see her hesitation as if she didn't want to do it, she was not very welcoming and it was mostly silence, besides the other 50% of the time she was on the phone, as she was finishing up my nails, and putting on the clear coat, I pointed out that some of my nails weren't fully covered with polish, I asked her could she fix them, she applied more, then told me to sit and let them dry for 10 min, I wasn't given anything to help with the drying process, not even a fan. She walked off. My nails looked bad, I had gotten white and I had nail polish on my cuticles and still had parts of my nails with no polish, I asked for a manager. I showed the manager and she said she would fix them and clean them up, I also still had the dust from the acrylic around and under my nails also, she does I guess what she could to clean then up, and then took out nail paint to fill in the spots that wasn't covered, the nail point was white but a different color from the white of the polish, so it is visible that it was filled in. After she finished, my nails still did not look good, still acrylic dust, still polish on my cuticles, she takes me to pay, I asked her would she feel comfortable if I posted my nails under a review, her response was come Thursday and talk to the owner and processed my payment, she knew they looked bad also but still took my payment, I was very upset but I just walked out. I didn't even get oil or lotion, and then as I looked closer even the tips of my nail didn't have polish, they are already chipping. Horrible experience I had and a really hate I picked that spot to get my nails done. It was nobody sitting in there getting their nails done when I walked in and that should of been a sign. I just came in right now today 11-5-24, and asked for a lip and brow wax. They close at 7 and said they were closing early today at 5:30. The lady couldn't even look at me in my eyes to tell me no. writing this review from the parking lot. this is my third time here, and each visit, process and the results are extremely inconsistent- even after having the same tech two of the three times. I went in for a pink fill each time. this visit I had to ask for my whole nail to be sanded as only half was done before the acrylic was applied. the color difference was awful and I was told it was from mixing old and new powder. I explained the last two times I was here, the whole nail was done so it was even and the discolored topcoat was taken off. I got a nasty sigh like I was bothering the tech before he redid it. mind you, I mentioned it after the first hand, not both, as I wasnt given the chance to look at them first. I asked for straight and square and got tapered, uneven nails. the lengths are all different from being cut down. the underneath was "cleaned" but i walked out with my nails splitting and separating from the acrylic already with dirt and dust caked under them. I have dried acrylic all over my hands and left sticky, even after washing twice, and the tech not caring when I mentioned it and was picking it all off. I showed the woman at the counter everything that was different from what I asked and the state of my nails. she offered to try to fix them, but so much was cut and filed off, that to even them out, I'd be left with stiletto nails which isn't what I want. I now need to go somewhere else to get a new set to fix this tech not giving me what I asked for or giving me the chance to look at any of them until I was already a full hand in and it was too late. not to mention the top coat is all bubbles because he rushed the drying time, filed them more when they were still wet, and rushed me out of the chair. and yep, despite expressing my dislike for the service and actually showing someone the problems (dirt still caked under them, really?) , I was still charged. there are plenty of other salons that do better, more consistent work who will give you what you ask for, very close to this one that are worth going to first. don't let the high prices here and beautiful salon fool you - they aren't worth it. read more

i got a manicure here, and my daughter got a full acrylic set. they did them very fast, and most of my nails chipped the next day. my daughter got a huge chip in one of hers 2 days later. we went back to have hers fixed (they said they wouldn't fix mine since it was a regular mani), and the next day another entire nail came off. we went back again and they begrudgingly fixed it. huge waste of money and time for nails lasting just a few days. definitely don't recommend golden moon! go elsewhere read more
