If you want gourmet and quality then come where the locals eat ! We loved loved loved this place! The food is too die for and so is the presentation! So happy that we accidentally found this place out of all the places in Central Station, who would have ever thought ...? Nice ambiance and good service as well! Try this place and you won't be disappointed.

In making a last-minute visit to Sweden, I didn't do my usual anal research in trying to find the must-eat places in Stockholm, so when we got to our hotel, it was up to the Yelp app to help us identify a nice place for a late lunch. As it turned out, we were just a quick stroll away from the bustling Stockholm Central Station. Right next to the Burger King kiosk was this unusually refined dining destination amid the hubbub of commuters going back and forth from the train platforms. It turned out to be a Michelin-starred French brasserie run by executive chef David Gard, where our main goal was avoiding a sprained ankle from all the hard-case roller luggage European travelers seem to favor. You know you're in a fancy place when most of your complimentary bread basket is filled with buttery croissants (photo: http://bit.ly/1Y9TT8P). Jamie W. and I were kinda starving because we didn't have anything to eat since our buffet breakfast back at the hotel. We exhausted ourselves by overdoing our karaoke performances at ABBA The Museum and then making our way back to the city center. That was our flimsy excuse to order big, and we did. Jamie had the 225 KR French Half Chicken (Majskyckling) with vegetables, a buttery foie gras sauce and fried potatoes (photo: http://bit.ly/1X9Lwfc). It was downright decadent with the chicken slathered in butter and foie gras quite plentiful. The fries were a bit disappointing as they were slightly burnt (photo: http://bit.ly/1SQeZp0). I splurged even more by ordering the 315 KR Ribeye Steak (Entrecôte), a particularly thick cut in a rich bernaise sauce (photo: http://bit.ly/1X9LCmX) accompanied by a hearty tomato salad, hand-cut fries and gravy (photo: http://bit.ly/1TL7vGc). The steak was delicious, perfectly cooked medium-rare but awfully big for just one person. The tomatoes provided a nice, fresh contrast. We decided to share the 195 KR White Asparagus (Vit Sparris) covered in Hollandaise sauce, roe, crispy rye bread and herbs (photo: http://bit.ly/1SOeorB). It was an unusual combination of flavors but probably quite Swedish in appeal and taste. No dessert for the wicked as we had a boat to Helsinki to catch. FOOD - 4 stars...top-drawer French cuisine, hearty portions, moderate prices AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...as elegant as a train station can afford though a bit crowded especially with luggage strewn about SERVICE - 4 stars...genuinely friendly staff who speak impeccable English TOTAL - 4 stars...first-class brasserie amid the harried train passengers

On holiday in Stockholm, the plan was to dine out as often as possible and enjoy a variety of cuisines. Luzette is a French restaurant conveniently located by the central station. The ambience is formal to classy. The servers were very attentive and spoke good English. The food I got was decent but I think a little pricey (245kr) - which I later realized was a norm in Stockholm. Overall experience was good.

I was invited to lunch here and i enjoyed it. It's packed during lunch and the service is very efficient. Located in the main train station this is a Paris / Vienna style bistro with high ceilings, tables and chairs squeezed into every corner and a bar with high stools. Best to make a reservation for lunch as it was packed the whole time. Menu is small with a nice selection of main courses and starters. I had the Toast Skagen and it was really nice. Service was really friendly and I enjoyed the buzz and atmosphere here. Would come here again for sure.

Fish and shellfish "Wallenbergare" with clarified butter, peas and potato puree

Very yummy and fresh food with a friendly wait staff. My favorite and most surprising bite came in the side tomato salad. In the mix of tomatoes there were a few chilled confit cherry tomatoes that burst with sweetness. Also the pickled shallots gave a nice tart bite. My entree - Fish and shellfish "Wallenbergare" with clarified butter, peas and potato puree - was very good as well. Wasn't too sure what a wallenbergare was, but it is a fish/shellfish cake (think crab cake but lighter) that is fried a crispy golden color. It comes with pickled onions that paired well against the creamy potato puree and clarified butter. The 2013 Henri Bourgeois, "Les Baronnes", Sancerre, Loire (France) was smooth and crisp. Highly recommend if you love Sancerre, Sauvignon Blanc, etc. Lastly, the cappuccino was creamy and had a great intense flavor. Yum!

The first impression is that you have walked into a Parisian restaurant with white tablecloths and wait staff attired in black suits with that French white apron. We had miso baked salmon with sesame fried chinese broccoli, Jasmine rice and hoisin sauce. Our friend had a burger and fries. He said nothing of the burger, but did say that his French fries were some of the best, sweetest ever. Presentation of our salmon dish was lovely and the flavor was good; however it did not knock our socks off. Dessert Creme brulee was good and our friend said his pistachio ice cream with wafer cookie and chocolate cake was delicious. I will give the ambience a 5, service 4, and food 4 for a score of 4.3.

Crispy duck with red cabbage and brussel sprouts

My first meal upon visiting Stockholm is Luzette! It is conveniently located in the Central Station. The food and service here is superb! I ordered the crispy duck with red cabbage, brussel sprouts, and potato cake. The red cabbage complimented the tender and juicy slices of duck. The potato cake was buttery and moist. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive.

The pain au chocolat was also excellent: crisp layers with just the right amount of dark chocolate. Coffee was smooth and rich, and refills on brewed coffee are free. The café has a relaxed vibe, and even though it was busy, the service was quick and friendly. Prices are a bit high, but worth it for the quality. Recommend if you're looking for a great coffee and pastry spot, convenient to city center. Outdoor seating if you're lucky enough to land a spot. Although the passageway where the interior seating is situated seemed awkward it actually worked out well. Service, despite a crowd, was fairly quick, I would rate the coffee an A or 9/10 on the scale of strength, low acidity/smoothness. It is espresso based and made to exact order. There are serval options for milk (whole, oat, 1/2 and 1/2, etc). The major complaint would be that there is no easy place to throw away your rubbish, nor is there a place that is clearly evident to bust your dishes, which is much needed given that this is a super busy place.. The staff is too busy to bus tables regularly, which backs up the availability of seating . This is the major reason for a one star deduction.. TIP: You can buy beans or ground coffee for home brewing.

Everything sounded delicious and I followed the bartender Johan's suggestion to try the White Strawberry as it met all my flavor notes (fruity, not too sweet, semi strong drink). I really liked how the bar/restaurant only sources local ingredients that are in season so the drinks were very tasty and refreshing.
