I got the Classic Benedicts with smoked salmon and a Bloody Mary. Both were really good. I came here on a Sunday, and the place was pretty busy. It's a brunch spot with a line. I didn't sit inside, so I can't comment on the aesthetics, but instead got patio seating. It was a tad chilly; however they provide blankets to keep you warm. An American will occasionally get homesick after living abroad for a couple of months, so naturally heading to an American restaurant seems like the right cure. So I headed over to STHLM Brunch Club on a Sunday afternoon, seeing if I could have my fix of American food 4,000 miles away. All things were indicative of a New York restaurant: the hip space, the long queue outside the door (perhaps indicative of a tourist trap, which I realized later on), the English menu, the quirky and colorful plating. Except for the food. The eggs arlington (eggs Benedict with lox) was cold, and the hollandaise didn't really offer a flavor. The "brioche bun" was really just an English muffin. And it was pretty expensive for such a small serving (which honestly is on par with New York standards, except I wasn't homesick for that aspect of the States). The iced matcha latte was OK. This was my third gander into Stockholm's New York-wannabe-brunch scene, and while I thought third time would be a charm, I left disappointed. read more

Brunch Club was so great, we ended up coming here 2x in our short, 4 day stay. They have a great selection of brunch options, vegetarian dishes, fresh juices, and their special menu. You can also get the pancakes in a half size order if you can't choose between sweet and savory. And honestly, it's so worth it. We got the special of the week dish, half size of pancakes, juices, and one of their special shakes. I would highly recommend their avocado toast, which is one of their every day items and add in those extras (halloumi and mushrooms). The place itself is also super cute with large windows and rustic wooden tables. It is quite small, so be sure to avoid the rush hour. Definitely a place I would recommend to others! read more

Had brunch here about two weeks ago and will most definitely do so again! The staff is friendly and the food is really good! I ate the Eggs with a kick which has avokado and chorizo on it, and the chorizo tasted home-made (it was soooo good). I also had some waffles from the temporary menu and drank a pink juice to the food that tasted really fresh. And we got to try the new freakshake - to die for! Me & company stuffed our faces til we couldn't take another bite. The location is cozy and I like the drape they've put up in the entrance, it feels like it's more closed off from the street this way. We went on a weekday, and arrived about an hour before closing, so there was no wait for seating. Like I said, will come back, this is one of the best brunch places in Stockholm. read more

After asking for new eggs and them giving us failed eggs yet again, we just gave up and left. Food was lacking umph and seasoning. STHLM Brunch Club was our first foray into Stockholm's breakfast/brunch scene and we were not disappointed! First, the space/interior is adorable. Lots of natural light in the main seating section and cute decor. The service was good. The waiters all speak English (most people in Stockholm speak English to some degree) so communication was not an issue. We were seated quickly, but I think you can pick your own seats if you want. I ordered the avocado sandwich/toast (old habits die hard..) + bacon and my friend got the full veggie with haloumi added. Everything tasted fresh and was well-seasoned. The food came out quickly and the prices were fair. To drink, we got filter kaffe (drip coffee) which you can get free refills on. Overall, I thought this was a solid spot to grab a bite to eat and a great start to our (food) adventure in Stockholm! read more

LOVE the food here!!! I seriously just ate the best omelet of my life. I am on a sugar-free cleanse and I couldn't really get the pancakes that I would normally go for, so I settled on the cheesy bacon omelet... and it was not "settling" at all!! It must have been that the bacon was actually inside the omelet and they used a really nice english cheddar. But, that was the BEST DAMN OMELET I'VE EVER HAD! Mind you, I'm not an omelet fan normally. But, this was EGGceptional! Just completely EGGcelent! lol. I followed everything up with some french fries and an extra side of their "avocado mash" (because they didn't just have an un-mashed avocado apparently) and a lactose free latte. I couldn't have been more happy with my meal. Seriously! The only detractors for the visit here were that you have to wait quite a while to get in and that they don't have a license to sell alcohol! So... no mimosas or bloody marys at brunch???!!! Sacrilegious!!!! You can't really have a proper brunch without alcohol! What the hell!!?? Also, just a note of caution about when your waiting. They take down your number.... so be sure to have your phone ringer turned on! I told the hostess that I would be siting on the bench on the side of the building. I expected her to call out my name when it was time to get a spot, but 45 minutes went by and I didn't hear a thing! Turns out, they rang my phone twice (with the sound off in my purse) and then skipped us when I didn't answer! They didn't even try to yell out my name out to the waiting area! Luckily, she quickly squeezed us in right away, once we'd confronted her and realized what happened. But, seriously, that sucked. Otherwise, I think our wait time would have been more like 20 minutes (which isn't too bad for 11am on a Saturday for brunch!) Four stars for the food! If the space was bigger, had better wait times, served alcohol, had better ventilation (apparently being fixed now) and if it was closer to the subway... it might have been 5 stars for me! This is place is wonderful for brunch and has a selection which will please pretty much anyone. There are many delicious options for vegans, including the avocado toast, which is also great with a poached egg on the side. Also, their juices are delicious and their shakes are definitely "Instagram worthy"! Staff is very friendly, and although there isn't much space I think it's fair to say that it's pretty expected of a popular place like this, so I wouldn't detract a star for that. Pro tip: Come before 10 AM for a shorter wait! Food was delicious, and portions were generous. I ordered the chicken Brunch club, which was open faced like most other sandwiches in Sweden. My husband ordered the Eggs and Sausage with a Kick, which was so flavorful. Coffee was also tasty, and my husband's berry smoothie was very fresh. In fact, all the juices and smoothies coming out of the kitchen smelled super good. I can see why this place is popular with locals and visitors alike, and we really enjoyed our meals. Only downside is that we were crammed into a small table in the corner and I was barely able to squeeze into my chair, it's so tight. But these factors does NOT explain the long line of people waiting to "get in". Its nothing extraordinary. Since there is no possibility to book a table and the waiting time can be up to 1-2 hours (yes- people cue for this long even in the winter, when freezing...) they stand there, some with trendy hats, in line, waiting. I love that they are keeping up with the healthy trends in Sweden. One downside of my visit was that it was SO crowded.. Was very excited about going here my first time, having read so much about it and also really missing a great brunch place in the neighbourhood. The service was good and the coffee was really good but not quite hot enough. And I had higher hopes for the food. I mean it was ok, but I had a lot higher expectations. We had Arlington and Veggie breakfast. The sourdough bread was really nice. The hollandaise sauce on the egg however was a little bland, and the salmon and the hummus was too cold (probably just out of the fridge). This place has a very solid American-style brunch. Positives 1. All the waiters are expats (mostly Australian or American) so everything is in English. 2. They serve brunch favorites that I couldn't find anywhere else in the city. Their waffles are to die for. 3. Stockholm is known for pricey food, but I thought this place was pretty fairly priced, given the quality. 4. The location is near the metro and super easy to get to. Negative 1. The food here is top notch! One of the better brunch spots I have eaten at in Stockholm. Taste, quality, selection, presentation....they ace it all! I've tried their Full English and Full Veggie breakfast platters which cover quite a lot. Sausages, poached/ fried eggs, beans, grilled mushrooms, tomatoes, hummus, avocado and lastly the crispy sourdough toast soaked(yummy) in butter. The freshly squeezed juices are delicious and they have an excellent selection of teas too. Hot chocolate - yum. Need to try more items on their menu the next time I go :) Service is good, quick, polite and very friendly :) The only downside each time I've visited, and I'm saying downside because it is extremely annoying and tests your levels of patience, especially when you're starving (but is also testament to my first line, about their food being great, which is I have been there more than once) is that they don't take reservations. Instead, you put your name on a waiting list when you get there and they take your phone number and call you if you can't wait. On a weekend, 45 minutes to an hour is what you should most likely expect. Anything less than that is sheer luck! Really wish if they could change that and start taking table bookings. Skip it. Honestly, just go somewhere else. The food isn't bad, but the service is awful. We waited 20 minutes to get in, which is fine. No big deal for a busy place like this. But after it cleared out we got to sit down and order. Over an hour later our food arrives. The three groups that sat down after us got their meal before us three. When we asked about our order they said it was 'being made fresh'. I ordered eggs. How long does it take to make eggs? Not over an hour. I'm pretty sure they just forgot our order but didn't admit it. This made our lunch guest late for work so she had to take her meal to go. When the bill came they discounted the meal and apologized. So there's that. I left hungrier then when I went in so I went to a cafe a couple blocks away called Fabrique that was great. Food was better and cheaper. Go there instead. read more

Overall, I was underwhelmed. We waited for over an hour for a table, but there is an espresso house across the street and the hostess calls you when you get a table, which is GREAT! We ordered the berry and mangorange smoothies, a cheeseburger, the full English and the chorizo eggs Benedict. Both smoothies only tasted like banana, which is pretty remarkable when you think about it. The cheeseburger was just ok, the chorizo overpowered the hollandaise sauce and was dry and overcooked to boot. The full English was good. I really wanted to like this bright, sunny place and have been looking really hard for a good brunch place, but unfortunately the prices and popularity don't match up to the quality and favors of the food. Brunch is a part of the American lifestyle, so it was only natural that I was a little excited to find a go-to brunch spot here in Sthlm. The menu is neither overwhelming nor underwhelming in my opinion, with just enough breakfast and lunch options to satisfy anyones needs. The fluffy pancakes or chicken sandwich are great picks, but I think the stand out dishes tend to be the lunch specials (which keeps things fresh and change quite often). The atmosphere is inviting and the service is some of the best i've received. The staff are friendly and have always been very engaging the handful of times i've been here. My only advice is to be mindful of what time you choose to dine here, its only been around for a few months and has quickly become a crowded weekend spot! read more
