I would give 0 stars if I could. My dog stayed here for 2 nights and I will never bring him back again. When we picked him up, we noticed immediately that his front two paws were covered in blood. When we asked the staff what happened that could not answer any questions and did not help ease our worries noting that they were not the right people to speak to. We asked if we could have a vet look at him to make sure he was ok and were told that most vets arent open and we could call them in the morning. We got a call from the receptionist on our drive home and again, she had no answers but noted that the owner or manager would contact us in the morning. We have yet to receive a call from them (the next day). My dog has white paws and the blood was clearly visible, it is concerning that the staff did not notice anything wrong and no one seemed concerned or helped us in the slightest. I will never take my dog here again. read more

They call it a dog resort for a reason. From the moment you walk in the door, you get the Vegas resort vibes. I've never seen such a beautiful dog kennel check in area! It was so pretty and modern looking. This kennel was definitely posh and not doggy jail like. Our boys appeared to have enjoyed their stay and they weren't as stinky as they usually are from other kennels! This is going to be our go-to place when we come back to Vegas. read more

Before booking, I took their virtual tour, which made the facility seem acceptable, but that didn't reflect what I experienced in person. Due to time constraints, I wasn't able to tour the facility before drop-off, but I assumed I'd be able to take a quick look when I arrived. However, once I got there, I was immediately uncomfortable -- the space was dark, smelled strongly of urine, and felt completely different from what was shown online. When I asked to tour the facility after check-in, I was told I needed a scheduled appointment, even though I was already on-site and there were no other customers around. This didn't sit right with me, but I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I also noticed that many of the "add-on" services (like treats or personal cuddles) came with extra fees, which felt excessive. I brought my own treats just in case, but they were never given to my dogs. When I returned to pick them up, I was told that their baths were completed, but staff couldn't brush one of my dog's teeth or trim either of their nails due to "long quicks." This was strange, as I've never had any issues with nail trims at other grooming facilities. It made me question whether anyone on staff was actually qualified to perform the services they offer. Most upsetting of all, when I finally saw my dogs, they were covered in urine. Their fur was dirty and they clearly had not been properly cleaned, despite being told they'd been bathed. I rushed them to my regular groomer because I was so horrified. As someone who was already hesitant about boarding my pets, this experience confirmed all of my worst fears. I left feeling like my dogs were poorly cared for and treated more like numbers than living beings. I would never recommend this pet resort and will never bring my dogs back. read more

I had to leave a review in honor of my pup! My dog has been coming here to LV dog resort since I moved here to Vegas. As a senior doggy I worried about her being comfortable especially because I travel for work a lot. She was ALWAYS happy here and was so loved by the staff! Two days ago we had to put her down at 18 years old. My first stop after her transition was to drop off her collar to LVDR as a thank you for keeping my girl safe and loving her! Love love love this place!!! 1st time leaving our pups here (dachshunds brother and sister 18 months old) and the place and staff is absolutely AMAZING!!! Staff was super friendly during check in and check out, and would let me call and check in on them everyday that they were there and give me info on how they were (3 night stay). Their room was very BIG which i loved cuz it did not feel like they were locked away in a kennel. They had plenty of room to play, run around and even had a cozy toddler bed to sleep on. This place felt like a home for them. Highly recommend this place..it will be our go to place to bring our pups to when visiting Vegas. They even got a bath before we picked them up. read more

We really liked this place but my dogs came home sick with kennel cough because they don't check dogs or require flu vaccines especially accepting dogs that have been in a shelter where the outbreaks first happened. Hello people?? Dont drop your sick dogs off!!! Same thing with kids going to school sick, keep them home!! My two dogs have NEVER been sick until they came home both ill 10-28-23 to 10-29-23. This has been the 3rd Vet visit this year alone from both my dogs being boarded at these facilities. How does a 9 year old 8 pound dog have an inguinal hernia injury that required hospitalization and major surgery from Buffalo location. The Sahara location both my dogs came home with kennel cough and again 2 visits to the Vet and weeks of medication, more than $2000 vet bill? Only NOW you send a notice of flu vaccinations requirement? THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN PLACE FROM DAY ONE!! We will NEVER bring our babies back to any of these places EVER again!! We also have told anyone and everyone NOT to bring their babies there at any location. What a shame and disappointment!! A blessing in disguise is we now have a dog sitter/walker who is the BEST!!! If I could give negative stars I would! I left my baby there for not even 24 hours and when I picked him up he had piss all over his paws as if it was a human who pissed on him. He was panting in the car all the way home and when we got home he went straight to the water bowl and drank so much and ate all his food that was waiting for him as if they didn't feed him or gave him any water whatsoever. He didn't even want to play with the kids which is very unlike him. All he wanted to do was sleep. He seemed very traumatized. I don't know if they gave him something to go to sleep or what but I did not authorize such a thing. This place of "business" should be reported and shut down. You won't find a better place to keep your pet. The entire staff is attentive to you and your pet's needs. We are a nonprofit that cares for homeless pets, and we occasionally have Street Dogz pets that need boarding; thankfully, Shana and her staff at LV Dog Resort welcome us! If you want to board your dog in a place that feels like home this is the place, asides from getting to play with other doggies all day, the rooms are decked out with cute furniture, tvs and they even put toys, beds, blankets you name it in there with them to make them more comfortable. This is definitely a VEGAS hotel stay for my fur baby. The pricing is reasonable and they even have a bath included with their stay so my baby comes home nice and clean. This was the first time I had to board my dogs and leaving them behind gave me extreme anxiety. The thought of leaving them for 5 days made me almost cancel my trip all together. Before I decided on a dog hotel, I did my due diligence and checked out a few places. What made me feel at ease about LV Dog Resort are the staff. I probably called them about 3-5x a day the first three days to check on my fur babies (Aussie and mini pin). Cassandra was extremely kind and patient! She took the time to give me detailed 'daily' updates and that put my mind at ease. Angelica and Edith were also very sweet and took the time to check on my dogs, whenever I called. The staff always answered the phone (except when they had to feed/walk dogs), but they returned my calls when I left messages. You know they were on top of it! They are a 100% responsive, caring, and professional team! If I had to go on another vacation, I would board my dogs here. The rooms are clean and spacious. That was definitely a bonus! I based my decision on the staff, because I wanted to leave my babies with trustworthy people. read more

I am a returning customer and I just picked up my dog Jasper yesterday. He was there for three nights. This is my second dog that I've taken there ! The staff is always amazing so so friendly and they always give you a cute picture of your dog when you leave. I had to give my dog doggy Xanax because he's very anxious and they were happy to give him his medication when needed. Do not recommend! The reviews are what got me there but definitely did not live up to what everyone is saying. I just moved to LV so I was excited to establish a new boarding place since I travel a lot. Dropped off my dog for a week of boarding while I was out of town. When I came to pick up they had lost my leash and one of two bowls I left with the dog. The receptionist made the comment that this happens often. Then the lady accused me of taking those items with me and acted like it was my fault. Needless to say after spending over $425 I had to go buy another $60 leash and new bowl from PetSmart. No sense of recovery, urgency or customer service will not come back. read more
