Paw Wow welcomed her with open arms and confidence in their ability to provide her a good grooming service. Communication was very prompt, the owner was very attentive and sweet, and she even gave me free goodies for myself. I was uneasy at first because I had only left my pups (less than 2yrs old) with my mom and the reviews of bigger boarders were inconsistent with complaints of not communicating with owners, not feeding dogs, dogs coming home anxious, etc. Cheyenne was extremely prompt and responsive, and accepted my request the night before of which I'm very grateful. The facility has a small boutique area, grooming room, and spacious play pen. And they're private, which is a plus. Check-in was a breeze and the pups felt immediately at-home. I received several pictures throughout the day which was a nice gesture. When I arrived, the pups were happily playing with other dogs and I learned they were interactive with the owners as well. The price was more than fair. Cheyenne's mom, Kim, even gave me face masks to sample (different business that deserves its own review :D). They did a good job with my senior dog and they have three separate dog gates between the back and the front door which makes me feel good because our last groomer did not have any of those measures in place. Such wonderful people! I wanted to check in to see what this place was all about since they had great reviews; let's just say, it truly does hold up to these standards. I called to ask a few questions about the grooming services they provided and even allowed me to come in for an inquiry with my dog. I asked questions about brushing tactics and they were so helpful as to what types of tools and methods I should use at home with my pup. Their website says they provide education on dental care at home but they also helped me a ton understanding my dog's coat and care for it. The service lasted just over two hours and I was so happy to see they were able to help my dog look as spiffy as the picture I provided. Not only was I provided my beautifully groomed dog, but they seemed very pleased with their own work which is something I loved to see. I was also given freebies of Korean skin care as well (which is also a bonus side business they have)! Even with traffic, they drove 27 miles to pick up my 8-year-old, 70-pound husky (who was totally covered in dirt from rolling around outside). I have an anxious pup that absolutely hates the groomers and I was just as anxious as he was to take him to a new place after we moved. We have been asked not to come back to many a groomer... However Paw Wow was very understanding, kind, and willing to work at his pace. You can tell that they care about their fur-clients. I am SO GLAD that I found Paw Wow!! Absolutely amazing!! My fur baby Bella is 20+ years old and today was her first appointment at Paw Wow. I was very nervous because of her age and from past experience with other groomers. Bella's appointment was at 8am, when my boyfriend dropped her off the groomer told him it'd be about 2.5 hours (she's a toy poodle and was getting full service). They communicated that Bella was matted (which was expected she hasn't gotten groomed for 5 months), and asked for our consent to continue the services. We agreed but because Bella was matted, a senior, and sensitive, they took their time resulting in her service taking 4 hours. Which I appreciate, because it shows they cared about how Bella felt and her comfortability! This also showed when I went to pick Bella up, other groomers she would be shaking but here at Paw Wow she wasn't, she looked comfortable. Paw Wow also went above and beyond and did more than I expected with her service. We definitely will be coming back again. I highly recommend. read more
