The Southwest Ranches Farmer's Market is located in the same lot as Haute Coffee and Mr. Rotisserie…read morefood trucks. It gets very crowded on the weekend making parking a bit of a challenge. This family owned farmers market is in it's own small building. It was very interesting to me because this is the first place I found that sells raw milk. It is not something I personally drink but advocates claim that the pasteurization of milk destroys the nutrients, enzymes, and good bacteria. Benefits of raw milk may include more nutrients, improved digestion, and enhanced immune function. Others believe that the benefits are outweighed by health risks associated with consuming raw dairy products. The raw products sold here state they are not for human consumption. In addition to raw milk they also sell raw milk kefir, raw yogurt, raw cheese, raw butter, and raw milk ice cream. Other products they sell include organic produce grown in Southwest Ranches, local honey, hormone free and grass fed meat and seafood, farm fresh eggs, bath and beauty products, bread, and fresh made key lime pies. Staff was on hand to helpfully answer customers questions. I do believe that food is medicine and that it can heal you. This market subscribes to that philosophy. It is a niche for people who don't mind paying more to know where there food comes from, want clean ingredients, or are into a particular lifestyle choice. If you are looking for a large selection or inexpensive prices, this is probably not for you but I enjoyed my visit.

They carry eggs, fresh meat. Anything that you would expect to see that has all been raised on a farm. Other than that, there is a Haute coffee truck, a Venezuelan empanada shop, a sandwich place, a middle eastern truck and more. As I am a fan of the coffee place, I ordered a coffee. It was a bit on the sweeter side, but they had really cool flavors. I got the praline latte. The Venezuelan empanadas were great and I would definitely get them again.

This amazing fruit hut is one of my favorite finds in recent months. Not only are the employees…read moreincredibly sweet, they're super knowledgeable on all of the exotic varieties they carry. I truly mean it when I say they have some of the coolest options in rotation. This isn't your run-of-the-mill fruit stand so you must stop by & have your horizons expanded. I'm not exaggerating when I say I've learned about (or tried) a new fruit on every visit. You'll find your regulars like oranges, apples, tomatoes, bananas & lemons but you'll also find so much more here; this is where the fun lies. Depending on the time of year they carry longan berries, yellow & red dragonfruit, prickly pear, sour tamarind, tangelos, guava & the list goes on. I love trying new things & I love fruit so this is place has quickly been put in rotation. I think the pricing is super fair considering you can't find some of this produce elsewhere. They also have a section where the super ripe fruit is at a discounted price. I like that they do this to promote buying them instead of wasting it. There's ample parking & although it's on a backroad of Davie, it's very easy to find. I choose to come here over a big grocery store any day of the week. Not only is supporting local farms a great thing, expanding your knowledge on fruits & vegetables is always a plus!

They also have fresh sugar cane that they will press for you for sugar cane juice. The amount of exotic fruits they had was amazing and we ended up buying some longans which were sweet and delicious. They're related to the lychee family and I'm happy to have been able to try and buy something that was new to me. They had white, yellow, and red dragonfruit for those of you that like dragonfruit and I'll definitely be buying these on my next visit.. Most of the fruits they sell are from local farmers and it feels great to be able to support them. Jay the lady who helped me was very sweet and very helpful. They are located on a property that also has a place that sells tacos, a place that sells teas and a place that sells herbs. It's a very nice, relaxing area and I highly recommend you going to check it out.

It is a great way to discover a new favorite while supporting small businesses. This was my first time visiting the market and I was impressed. Unlike a lot of famer's markets this one actually had produce. Other vendors were selling candles, fresh squeezed lemonade. juice, boutique clothes, barbecue, pizza local honey, Puerto Rican street food, bori bowls, floral arrangements, plant based oat bars, shrimp scampi, spices, all natural pet food and treats, and more. A lot of stalls had places set up where you could eat a meal. Many of the vendors offered samples so you could try their food. The Norwegian waffle guy even gave me a heart shaped waffle to share with Taco. The waffles and spices smelled like heaven. Those are two of the places I would start with next time I come back. If there is a drawback to this market it is that it is held in an open field in direct sun so it can get hot. Wear sunscreen. At least there is no admission or parking fee like at the Hollywood Yellow Green Market. I would definitely come back because there are a lot of unique vendors here.

This seafood delivery service in Sunrise also offers pick up!…read more I don't live too far so the times I've ordered from here, I've always opted to pick it up myself. If this isn't an option for you, they offer delivery within the Broward area. Their website has a wide range of seafood to choose from. Whether you want a ready made bundle or choose to create your own box, there is a lot of flexibility! One of my favorite things to get here is their tuna poke cubes. I've always wanted to make it at home but was too scared to get fish from the store. Raw fish that isn't sushi grade is not something I want to mess with so this option has been a game changer! Yes, this tuna is sushi grade, is already cubed and ready to eat once defrosted. Seafood can be a bit intimidating to cook but they also have some recipes on their Instagram @fishondish. You can follow their simple recipes with the seafood purchased from them! Their pick up is Monday-Friday,10am-4pm. Delivery is available Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday. They will call to schedule a delivery time frame to make sure you're home. Don't want that seafood sitting out in the hot FL sun! The ladies at Fish on Dish are the friendliest and are always happy to help if you have any questions. They take the meaning of family business to the next level! I look forward to whenever I get to order from them time and time again. BRB, off to make my poke bowl.
