The pretzels are so good too. I recommend the cinnamon sugar pretzel with the glaze. It taste like cream cheese. The service is always really great as well. 10 out of 10. My favorite part is enjoying the snowballs and pretzels while sitting outside and people watching. It is a must boy visiting Fells Point.

I love a good hot dog, I don't care why they're made of, you can never make me hate hot dogs. And when I want a good hot dog that I know is gonna be amazing every time, I'm gonna get the pretzel dog. So here I was on a Saturday night and I smell that delicious pretzel dough, I hadn't eaten like all day so I got 3 pretzel dogs. I was full after 2 and just stashed the 3rd in my coat pocket because it was wrapped in foil and who's gonna know ?? Right, right. So I probably went to like 3 more bars after that. Got home, crashed. Woke up and was like "why is there a hot dog in my pocket?" And did I eat it? Yes I did and it was still delicious. Truly an ode to yet another fun night in fells. Not to mention the service is always friendly and fast. It's so convenient and it's right in the heart of the little square area. So it's always there if you need a little pick me up while hitting the bars or checking out some of the local shops, or even just sitting by the water and enjoying the weather. It's simple and it's yummy.

A great spot to take your friends for after work drinks and eats. They even have a cozy lounge area to relax. Plenty of seating and great service. The staff was ready and willing to help and cleared off our tables for us. The tab system makes it easy to move from room to room so you don't have to worry, it's easy to add drinks and food as you relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Will definitely recommend for a relaxed atmosphere where you can watch games and also enjoy lively conversation. Better than a sports bar for food AND drinks.

There was like a tangy sauce on the tuna which took away from the flavor of the fish and for $22 I was expecting something a bit more. Otherwise, Jailbreak is always a solid choice for drinks and grub. They usually have reservations and larger parties, but it's a pretty open/communal space, so there aren't typically issues with seating. All in all, a great spot for many occasions.

This little store on Columbia Pike functions as a German specialty grocer, deli and sandwich counter. Our focus today was the sandwich counter. One important thing to know is there is no seating of any kind. You will be taking your sandwiches to go. (My suggestion: get a few slices of butter kaese at the deli counter and munch on these on the car ride home. Then enjoy your sandwiches in peace at your abode.) They do offer napkins and plastic silverware if needed. The sandwiches are freshly made to order. You take a number and a deli employee will assist you. They have numerous types of bratwurst to choose from. Additionally a number of German cold cuts. We ordered a Nurnberger bratwurst and the Tyrolean hot sandwich. The breads for both were very fresh and the sandwiches tasty. The mustard on the bratwurst was full of good horseradish! The Tyrolean was moist with a good combination of tender meat and sauce. The bread was a nice mild rye - it was a two hander sandwich! We were both full having eaten these delicious sandwiches. The deli employees were all friendly and efficient. Prices were very reasonable. We would definitely return.

Hi everyone, just wanted to leave a review of German Gourmet on Columbia Pike…read more Before I begin, I want to identify what the ingredients are for a classic Reuben. You'll need two slices of seeded or marble rye bread, about six ounces of thinly sliced corned beef or pastrami, two slices of sharp Swiss cheese, roughly a quarter cup of well-drained sauerkraut, and two tablespoons of Russian or Thousand Island dressing. A little butter for toasting the bread and optional spicy brown mustard round it out. That said, what I actually received was the absolute worst Reuben I've ever had in my entire life. They used ham instead of corned beef or pastrami, an insult to the name. The Swiss was bland and low-quality, not sharp at all. There was no mustard, barely any Thousand Island, and I couldn't even detect any sauerkraut. The bread wasn't toasted, and they still charged me $12.50 with tax. If this is what passes for a Reuben at a supposed German delicatessen, save your money and go somewhere that actually knows what they're doing.

The pizza was loaded--pepperoni, sausage, and ham were generous, so you definitely get your money's worth if you like a meat-heavy slice. Flavor-wise, it was savory and rich, but on the greasier side, which is pretty expected with deep dish. The cheese was melty and abundant, though I would've loved a bit more balance with the sauce--it could've used a touch more seasoning or tang to cut through the richness. Overall, it's a solid deep dish option when you're craving something heavy and indulgent. Not an everyday pizza, but perfect for sharing or when you want comfort food that really sticks. ***Mondays Large Pizza is $20

We waited quite a while to be seated despite the restaurant not seeming overly crowded. Our server was friendly, though a few requests had to be repeated. The food was just okay. My fettuccine Alfredo was mediocre, my mom wasn't impressed with her meal, and my daughter didn't eat much of hers either. I also ordered a margarita with tajín on the rim, which completely overpowered the drink for me. The highlight of the visit was the complimentary Mother's Day stemless wine glass, which was a thoughtful touch and a nice keepsake. Overall, BJ's remains about where I remember it--perfectly fine, but nothing that has me rushing back.

Located inside an industrial building in Silver Spring's Lyttonsville, DC Pretzel Company sells made-to-order pretzels for those who order ahead. The night before, we ordered two salted pretzels for a Saturday 10:10am pickup time. We arrive a few minutes early and waited just two minutes since our pretzels were just out of the oven. When the worker came out, he said he snuck in a garlic pretzel as a gift. (The family before us also got something for free as a fun surprise.) All three pretzels were so good! Of course they were very warm, tasty, and with perfect texture. The best pretzel in the area is here!

Honestly all the flavors are great so I always order at least one of each. The owner is super nice and threw in an extra original pretzel. What an awesome gesture. I've gone to pickup every Saturday and Sunday since my last visit and will go every weekend until I get sick of soft pretzels but that will never happen! Soft pretzels definitely have a special place in my belly, I meant heart!

Updated Review: A…read moremuch better experience at Twisted. The customer service was very good and of course the pretzels were delicious. Prices are reasonable for a city pretzel vendor. Overall a good experience and I will visit again when at the Wharf. Previous Review: August 28, 2022 CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE: I visited this pretzel shop at 6:24pm on Sunday, August 28th, 2022 and encountered a male employee at the service window who proceeded to ask how he could help me. When I informed him I wanted to purchase a salted pretzel he proceeded to tell me that there were no pretzels and that they were closed. He then said they had recently closed for the night a few minutes prior to my arrival and that they were only selling soft drinks. Considering the restaurant doesn't close until 7pm and the fact the employee's statement regarding operating status was so ambiguous, I asked a clarifying question, "are you closed or is it that you simply don't have anymore pretzels?" In my mind if a business says they're closed that means they are closed for business and not selling anything. He responded in a very disrespectful tone by saying "we're not open, that is what closed means." At that point I disengaged and simply asked him for his name. He informed me his name was Josiah. I'm not putting too much interest into whether or not that was really his name because he hesitated for a moment when I asked him. Normally that is an indication that someone just gave you the wrong name. To wrap up, having not purchased anything on this visit really is disappointing considering this was my first experience ever with this business. One in which the customer service was far from appropriate. Businesses can separate themselves from the pack in the area of customer service by how they treat potential customers when no sales transaction occurs. Whoever manned the service window on this day could benefit from additional coaching and mentoring in basic customer service.
