I was all prepared to sit at a table and have breakfast, but I was already there and I wasn't leaving without food. My dad and I both ordered the classic breakfast platter. It came with two waffles, probably three eggs (we added cheese so that was extra), 4 slices of bacon, and 2 sausage links, and hash brown. The waffles were such a cute shape and they were delicious. I can't confirm this, but I imagine it's their own special batter. They were very generous with the scrambled eggs and I didn't even have to add salt & pepper. I like that there were two meat options. I just wish my bacon wasn't all stuck together to form one piece. Also, the bacon could've been cooked a little more. It was a little fatty and I like a little more crisp. The star of the show was the hash brown. It definitely seemed like it was homemade. This may have been my first time having a homemade hash brown. I'm not sure what they did to it, but here's my guess. It looks shredded potatoes, mixed with green onion, and maybe some cheese, that was packed like a patty & shallow fried. My goodness, I should've ordered some hashbrowns to go so I could eat them for the rest of the week. The platter was so good, I didn't even mind having to eat it in my car. Lol. It was filling & $16 well spent.

They have since moved to a spacious store front bakery within a small shopping center, with a few parking spaces directly out front, and plenty more parking spaces in the adjacent shopping strip. My all time favorite item is their sweet potato cheesecake, and a very close 2nd is their vegan lemon raspberry cake...and mind you, Im not vegan. Some of my friends and colleagues also enjoy their award winning (vegan) apple breading pudding...most of them are not vegan either ;), banana pudding cheesecake, and gluten free apple crumble, to name a few. And All of their bundlets are popular. Also, all of my gluten free homies absolutely love gluten free desserts from here, and consistently remark that these are the best gluten free treats they have ever had. Service is always warm and welcoming, and they take their time with every customer. And Mrs. Aisha (the owner) would always hook me up on short notice with treats for my people or special events. I came extremely early, around 6:30 AM, but they didn't have any of their specialty donuts. the woman in the front let me know that the twists/filled donuts are ready 1-2 hours after opening, so if you're looking to get specialty items (fritters, twists, filled) come at around 8-9. i'll be back... maybe tomorrow...

The donuts were delicious and my favorite was the chocolate glazed one. I would definitely recommend this over Dunkin which is a few blocks up. I went in on a weekday morning at 8am and it was very busy. But I got my order within 15 minutes. I have also read that they sell out fast, so it's best to get their donuts earlier in the morning.
