So I called at 9am on that 4th day and once again it immediately went to a voicemail. By 1 pm, having had no response, I was pretty upset. I decided to go to the location that was listed as his office on the statement I received the week before. When I showed up at the office, it was a medical company inhabiting it. A Fed Ex guy happened to be exiting, so I asked him. He said "Yeah...there was an insurance office there, but they have been gone for 8-9 months. I have no idea where they went...they were just gone one day.". Naturally I called Farmers. After a 20 minute wait, I was told that Steven Hamlett is no longer registered. Still baffled, I asked how in the world I could have gotten a statement a week prior, with an address listed that has was vacated at least 8 months prior. And how can the number that was listed on this statement go directly to a voicemail and not ever receive a call back? Ridiculous. Time for a new carrier. Switched to Goosehead.
