The owners /instructors were very first timer friendly (she did explain very quickly so pay attention). You get to choose from 8 different things to make and they help you through every step. It is a 4 week process though. You come in to throw your piece of work and then you have to go back 2 weeks after to paint and fire your works of art! I'm so hooked now I want to sign up for their classes! Come wearing cloths you don't mind getting dirty and with a group of friends or solo! I had a wonderful time painting and chatting here with my friends this past weekend. We came in during the evening time and stayed till a little past closing to finish our pieces, and Mark was absolutely amazing and so patient in helping us wrap up and clean up. I have been to other pottery painting places in the past, but this place by far has the best selection of items at a super reasonable price range. I found multiple items that I would've wanted to paint and take home. During the time there, Mark made sure that our group was well taken care of, understood the use of the brushes and tools, and shared fun stories and jokes while passing by us every once in a while. With the music in the background and the colorful walls surrounding you, this is a great space to channel your artistic talents and have a good time away from the hustle and bustle of life.

They also have sewing supplies like thread, scissors, mats, buttons, etc. tucked away in the corners of the store if you're short on supplies. They both were very knowledgeable and helped to interpret a pattern that I was sent via email. I bought some really colorful, cute fabric for a scrub cap project that I'm working on. It also called for grosgrain ribbon which they don't sell (it is a quilt shop, after all). I asked where I might be able to find some and they suggested Hobby Lobby and even gave me directions on how to get there! I'm only in the area for a couple of weeks but if I lived here and seriously wanted to take up quilting, this would be my go-to shop! Local quilters and crafters, please support this terrific fabric shop! It's a gem!
