Before I even showed up for the shoot I made sure that I expressed my anxiety via email about actually being in front of the camera for once. Marly's response was quick and totally put me at ease about any physical insecurities I was afraid would show up in High-Definition in front of the camera. She also gave me advice about what I should wear (makeup, wardrobe, and accessories) that would look good in front of the camera. I felt better going in but still very nervous. When I got there Marly was very patient with me as I had felt my face would do this weird nervous twitch as soon as the camera came out. Marly suggested we play some of my favorite songs I had downloaded on my phone which really helped me relax. Her encouraging words throughout the shoot helped me with my awkwardness :-) The equipment she used was quite impressive and she certainly knew how to use it. Overall, Marly made a nerve wrecking and potentially disastrous experience one that was pleasant and dare I say enjoyable. The pictures came out crisp and beautiful.
