As part of the job offer, I received a relocation package where they connected me to Heather. Reading up on her website, she is known to be a relocation specialist. She is a specialist. She knows her ins and outs of houses/condos. She knows whats to look for. We connected early on, and I told her what I was looking for, price range, location, etc... and then she went to work. Once I got in the area, she took time out of her busy schedule to show me around the neighborhoods of Somerville, Brighton, Arlington, Watertown, Belmont. She is very knowledgeable of the greater Boston are. She knows which markets are hot and which are probably hard to re-sell if i ever plan to move on to a bigger place. Looking for a 2BR condo, we saw a slew of places. However, when I accepted an offer in NY on my property, she worked even harder to find me places for me. Finally I was connected a beautiful newly renovated condo in Watertown. Heather worked for me and was able to get an accepted offer within my price range. She worked hard on the P&S agreement and connected me with a real estate attorney in the area that she trusts. Unfortunately, the process of selling my NY coop and purchasing the condo in MA took much longer than anticipated due to my NY sale (another story), Heather did her best to console the MA seller that I am close and that I am eager to buy and I am willing to do whatever it takes. Eventually everything panned out. Heather gave me an awesome gift when she handed me the keys. She even showed up to my closing! It just shows how much she cares for her clients. I feel that she goes above and beyond to make her clients at ease. I was stressed out a lot because of the delays, and she kept on reaching out to me to reassure me. She was really helpful during the hard times. Finally closed this past Monday and moved in on Tuesday. She still helps me out when I ask for it - connecting me to the right people that she trusts. We used Jeff Nelson from Bank of America, Jeff Shargel's law office, and Matt Davison for the homeowner's insurance. All were excellent. - Lisa will email you listings of what you want, schedule showings, and give you open house notifications too. We saw a ton of properties in many towns -- Lisa does a lot of legwork. She even picked us up at the train station once when our car broke down. She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND! - Lisa is organized, fights for you, and is always your advocate. She asks questions you didn't even think of asking. - Lisa is super friendly, confident, smart, and a FANTASTIC negotiator. Long story short: she was everything and more! She took us all over the city and surrounding towns to search for the perfect home. Every weekend she updated us with open houses, checked in with us often and when we did attend showings together, she knew just what to ask the seller's agent. She remembered what we both specifically looked for in a home and went out of her way to find that. She was always available and responsive to calls or emails.
