I don't write many reviews, so the length of this one should give you a sense of how impressed my family and I were with Christian Iantosca's team in general and our agent Nathan Kirby in particular. We used Arborview in JP and Christian's team to buy our home a few years ago and again to sell the same in Nov-Dec 2020. Both times, their service and professionalism was exceptional. We had worked with other realtors in Cambridge, downtown Boston, and JP previously; the agents were all very helpful, but with Nathan Kirby we found the absolute right mix of structural know-how, market experience, and personality. Incidentally, Nathan was originally recommended to us by friends who had also worked him and the rest of Christian's team a few years earlier. (So, their standards clearly remain unchanged.) Our sale was complicated by a number of factors: e.g., we live abroad and were trying to sell during a Boston winter in a market already chocked by Covid-19. But Nathan and the rest of the team made the entire process as stress free as we could imagine. They coordinated with our tenants, organized repairs to make the home show-ready, arranged for online and in-person showings, and kept us abreast with weekly and, later, near-daily updates. Nathan carefully evaluated bids against market trends, suggested counter-offers, and ensured that we didn't feel pressured to sell. Even when we ran into difficulties along the way, Nathan was patient and professional but persistent; he took great pains to ensure that everything went through in a timely manner and the selling experience was a positive one. A year ago, we contacted Christian and two other realtors about an appraisal on our 2-family home in Jamaica Plain. We were very impressed with Christian's responsiveness, thoroughness in the evaluation, and clarity in presenting the details of the appraisal. All of this kept him and his team on our radar as we made plans to move cross-country. We spent January and February 2020 in Colorado, made the decision to sell the house immediately, returned to Boston on March 1st and called Christian. At our meeting, he went over the numbers with us very carefully, explaining the state of the market as the pandemic picked up. After listening to his assessment, we gave him our sale price number and listed it with him and his team. Then we hired movers, packed up our house, and in mid-March, drove back to Colorado, leaving the keys to the house and all the responsibility of getting the house on the market a.s.a.p. to them. Meredith, our point-person on Christian's team for marketing the house, very quickly scheduled the city inspections, handled the prep work, and got the house staged -- all during the Corona Virus Pandemic! She communicated with us via email, text and phone, giving us updates, asking questions about the house, and answering our questions as the process moved forward. The house went on the market on April 2nd; we had a full list-price offer the next morning. They happened to have the perfect client, we happened to have the perfect house for them. Christian and his team handled all the details for us, working with our Boston attorney, and on May 5th, we closed. Christian, Meredith, and his team truly went above and beyond for us on this sale. They were extremely good at communicating with us, they made sure we knew what was going on during the sale, they worked with our tenants to make sure they were not inconvenienced in any way, and they handled any problems (social distancing, isolation, etc.) with grace and thoroughness. We were disappointed with customer service. They could have done a better job with communicating especially Colleen Fitzpatrick. She is a realtor with this company. We bought a commercial property a few years ago. We were not looking to buy at the time. Colleen reached out to us about the property. When our offer was accepted we no longer heard from Colleen. After numerous attempts she failed to return our calls. At the day of closing we didn't even get a congratulations. The commission was a pretty substantial amount of money. I was disappointed in her lack professionalism considering for someone who deal with people as a profession. read more

However I want to point out that I have had such a positive, professional experience with the Arborview owner and management, I can't imagine their sales side to be any less amazing than the rental side. I plan to buy in 1-2 years, and I will absolutely use this company to help me buy my first condo. I have waited several months to write this review since Arborview has taken over ownership of my building and I have nothing but good things to say. It is so nice to see that they really do care about their tenants. Any email or call has been promptly responded to with in hours, sometimes minutes. They have also done some major upgrading and clearly care not just about the building, but about their tenants. Justin went above and beyond, meeting my friend and I to give countless house tours to potential roommates throughout the renovation. The month-long renovation was very well-managed and completed ahead of schedule, which meant moving out of my parents' house 48 hours early (priceless!!). The finished reno is very high-end: granite, stainless, hardwood, new tile work. If we have any trouble, Arborview is extremely responsive with fixing things; usually it takes less than a day. While I ultimately did not end up renting the apartment unit that Celeste at Arborview Realty showed me, I can say without a doubt that it was the most professional real estate experience I've had. We literally can't say enough good things about these folks - especially Christian and Nate. We initially chose Christian to help us sell our condo because we were impressed by his organization, professionalism, and informative use of market data, but we were happy to discover that every single Arborview person we came into contact with was pleasant and professional. I can't praise these folks enough. They are professional, responsive, and courteous. Their apartments are beautiful and modern; I had the pleasure of moving into a newly renovated apartment that makes my friends' jaws drop once when they walk in and twice when they hear how affordable it is. These places come equipped with central air, decks, and freakin' iPod docks that connect to a speaker system in the ceiling. If i had to think of something I dont like about Arborview, it would be that their apartments are So modern that my fridge beeps when the door is open for about a minute.
