The guys behind the desk were helpful and gave me a full refund. Unfortunately a refund doesn't provide an answer or a solution as to how half of the hood of my car was covered in motor oil. Initially I thought that they just hit a little careless while washing the windows when I thought what I saw was window cleaner on the hood. Turns out they'd gotten oil on the hood and driver's side window. On the driver's side window it looked like someone had lazily tried to wipe the oil off, but instead ended up just smearing it around on the window. That mix of oil and water has gone down into the window seal and now when I roll my window up and down that oil and cleaner mix just smears all over the window. Lastly, every single button or switch in my car was adjusted and not put back. Sure, I get it you might need to reset a thing or two during the service, but those things should be set back to how they were found, and not left up to the customer to restore. Happy for the refund, but disappointed that we won't be bringing our vehicles there anymore, and suggest that our friends and family do not either..

Previously I've done my own oil changes, but I simply didn't want to do it this time. I searched around and the nearest location I could find that could fit me in was 20+ miles away and it wasn't clear that it would be done until later tonight. Then, I realized I should check with Lynden Lube. A quick call showed that I could drive up and they'd fit me in. I drove the 10 minutes to the location and entered a very nice welcome area. I was greeted and when I explained what I needed they took down my information and took my key. I sat down, booted up my computer, figuring I could get some internet work done. It seemed that I'd barely logged into their guest wifi (nice touch) and opened my browser, when they called my name. I went up to the counter and the service was completed! Synthetic blend oil change, new filter, checked and topped off all my fluids (ie, washer fluid, brake fluid, etc...not gas :-) They even vacuumed the inside of my car! :-) The total price was equal to the larger chain places, but done in a fraction of the time! I was in and out in under 30 minutes and my CRV was happy once again! I highly recommend Rob and Lynden Lube & Auto! Your mileage my vary, but I know their efficiency, care and service will pleasantly surprise you too!

Every appointment was basically we tell them our timeframe needs, they tell us a time that works to bring the car in for an appointment, and then....we get our car back like 5 hours later. With three kids, school, sports, work etc, it doesn't work to sit around for five hours to switch the snow tires out. At Point S, we made an appointment for 3:00 Monday to get a new set of Nokian One's for the Sienna, and my wife drove away at 3:30!!! We were so pumped. We will definitely be doing all our tire work here from now on. Even with the drive from Bellingham, it's well worth the time saved wondering how long it's going to take at the other place. The price was fair, the service was friendly and timely, and I highly recommend to everyone who hasn't: take your business to Point S Zylstra Tire!

I can't say enough good things about Armstrong Family Autocare without sounding like a paid…read morepromoter or something, but believe me, this was an OUTSTANDING car repair experience!! Be honest: how many mechanics have you dealt with who actually aim to reduce the cost of the service?! Alex did!! My old '99 Voyager was acting wonky; it would start but then some components would work while others wouldn't.. one day the windows operated, but the wipers or heater fan wouldn't; the next day NONE of them worked; the next day they all worked fine.. and so on and so on Got a brand new top-of-the-line Napa battery.. didn't help .. so then I had the alternator tested by 3 different places who all said it had a bad diode, so I reached out to a few companies here, got quotes, and Armstrong's was the most reasonable price (plus nearby my place) so I brought the Voyager in, crossing my fingers that some unknown -expensive- additional work wouldn't be urged on me, as I've frequently experienced with other repairs Long story short, Alex told me it actually wasn't the alternator being bad, it was the ignition switch, and I gotta be honest and say I was hugely skeptical because the other companies had advised me to get a new alternator, why would they recommend it if it wasn't the problem? ...but I decided to trust Alex, and the repair cost was literally HALF the cost of replacing the alternator (which was already a very reasonable price!) But this morning was the iron test: would everything work like it did when I picked up my vehicle? IT SURE DID --the wipers, the windows, the heater fan ALL WORKED AT THE SAME TIME!! That hasn't happened in forever! LOL This review is getting long but I wanted to share the deets because frankly, given the symptoms, the tests AND my belief in the test results... Alex could have very easily done the cheaper ignition repair but said nothing and charged for the more expensive alternator replacement that I was asking for -and I wouldn't have known the difference and would've just been happy to have things working- but he was honest and upfront and didn't take advantage of my ignorance.. like other shops around here have done or tried to do to me in the past How awesome is THAT?! So believe me when I say that everyone reading this who might be searching for a mechanic they can trust as much as they'd trust a friend to do the work (if they had the skills) .....look no further This is a good person who does good work! ~~listen to Grandma, now~~
