After making two separate efforts to clarify why Precision's price quote was so high and why the Lowest Price Guarantee wasn't being honored, I went with another company. And, I'm really happy that I did. The company that earned my business, was not only comparable, but, in my opinion even superior. Muhammad's response appears to indicate that the companies that gave me price quotes were somehow inferior. Precision has been in business 18 years, and the company I went with has been in business longer. Precision's price quote was much higher than the competition and was for a Cadillac or Volvo sedan, not the beautiful new black SUV that picked up my girlfriend. Lastly, the professional chauffer that was our driver, was impeccably dressed in a black suit and tie. Our driver had over 30 years experience as a licensed, professional chauffer. We were quoted a price of $39.00 and our final price was $43 after tolls and tax. 3. Our driver (we didn't ask his name but I know he was Turkish because we had a nice conversation with him and my husband and I were trying to guess his country of origin--I guessed Egypt, my husband correctly guessed Turkey) Well, our driver was friendly, courteous, carried all our luggage, and was a great driver. 4. Today, I received an email message from the owner asking for my feedback of my experience----so maybe he is truly trying to make an effort for better customer service. I was looking for a good deal on a car/shuttle from Paramus to Newark Liberty Airport and this one…read morehad the cheapest advertised price of $45. Everything seemed very professional compared to car services I have used before. I got a phone call and e-mail confirmation. They make you provide a credit card number, but it is just to reserve the car and they don't charge it. The driver was prompt and arrived a little earlier than my pick-up time. However, when I got to the airport the actual fare was much more than I expected. The $45 did not include tax, tolls, or tip--which was stated on the website--but in the e-mail confirmation I was sent the tax was included and the total came out to $48.15. The driver charged me $68 when I arrived and when I asked him to break down the price he just estimated the charges and didn't seem sure of it. I'm not from the area, but $20 in tolls seems like too much to me (I could be wrong, but I think we only went through one toll booth). I had to catch my flight, so I didn't really have time to dispute, but I did follow up with an e-mail to the company. I got a response back just saying they would look into it, but that's as far as it went. If using this company, I would try to get an accurate quote or look up toll charges ahead of time.
