This hair salon (Tiny Town) is nestled behind a shopping plaza where you can find your own oasis of relaxation and pampering. I had an amazing cut by a stylist there that listened to what I wanted and made a beautiful cut to liven up my one length hair cut. (I still wish as much was not cut off, but it is still pretty.) The products used inside are top notch and smell amazing. The interior is clean and modern. The entire staff is quick to greet you and make you feel welcome with tea, water, coffee, etc. The lobby of the salon has a clothing boutique and makes the short wait to be seen before an appointment seem minuscule. So I'm very particular about my hair. I'm from CA so just accept it.... Anyway, we had the best hairstylist in Orange County and wondered how we would replace him. Fortunately, I didn't have to look too far and found a decent place in Clarksville. The guy's name is Devin and he didn't make me chat the whole time and did a great job in the first cut. So thought I'd share in case there's anyone else looking for a decent mens cut that requires more skill than being sheared like dog. According to Devin, "Out here, Yelp is for Karen's that want to hate on stuff ". Devin... You're so wrong. You guys really need to use this. I was very surprised with how my hair turned out and I would recommend to other guys to make an appointment with Amanda. As a guy I was very skeptical of going to a salon to get my hair done. I had some pretty long hair but wanted it to be short again and she was able to give me a haircut that I felt confident in despite being used to my super long hair. After being consistently overcharged for a trim and conditioning treatment at a run-of-the-mill salon, I decided I might as well go somewhere with high quality products for the price I was paying and looked for Aveda salons in the area. My hair is super fine and finicky and it breaks easily so it's important that not too much gets cut off because it takes forever to grow back. The stylist listened to what I wanted and actually asked questions to verify she understood. On top of that, the conditioning treatment she used is AMAZING. So far, even after a few washes, my fine hair feels so soft and it's not weighed down at all. I will forever only go to Aveda salons from now on. read more

Man did they ruin my hair color at this place! I went in asking for some highlights, or a balayage, and instead I got dark color on top of my head with very noticeable brush streaks. When I pointed out to the hairdresser that it was uneven and there were dark spots, she said that 'it would wash out', which I highly doubt! I still tipped the girl, which I shouldn't have done because i was horrified when I got home and looked at it closer! I should have refused to pay for whatever mess she created on my head! I had a wonderful experience at the location off Tiny Town Road. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment the day of with Stacy after a last minute no show. When I arrived I was promptly greeted by Alisha at the front desk, who kindly offered me water or hot tea before Stacy was ready for me. Stacy saw me to the back soon there after. Stacy did a wonderful job on my color, very careful and attentive to detail. I am in love with how it turned out! The highlights and toner treatment brought much needed life back to my hair. The rest of the staff there were so kind. Alisha even gave hand massages during shampoos (blissfully relaxing, serious perk). They all made it a very pleasant atmosphere to be in. The salon itself is beautiful. It's very clean and modern. The design is great, as it lets in plenty of natural light. By far the best bang for your buck in Clarksville. Awesome stylists, great products, no hard sell on products available just recommendations. I have been going to Lyndon's for at least 12 years maybe more. I have never been disappointed. All stylists there are talented and personable. The atmosphere is bright and comfortable. They use Aveda products, I color my hair frequently and it stays healthy. I recommend this salon to everyone. They now have a salon on Tiny Town road that is much closer to my house and has the same standards as the original. I don't see myself going to any other salon anywhere! read more

The salon itself has an industrial chic feel, very cool. Initial greeting from receptionist was friendly and warm while, Brooke my stylist was waiting for me up front (I was a bit late ) she was still very kind and inviting. She only got more wonderful. My appointment was for a cut and a tone. Brooke, thoughtfully assessed my hair and gave me her honest opinion of what she thought we should do. She was genuinely complimentary of my hair and to my surprise she suggested not to tone it. She proceeded to give me the best cut I've had in a while. She was literally one the first and only hair stylist that didn't agree with me when I said my hair is "brassy" abd that's actually just what I needed to hear.. after the cut was complete it changed the whole way I even saw my color. I scheduled a consultation at the Tiny Town location due to messing up my own hair after trying to do my own lightening and color. I was so embarrassed to even go in and was dreading the humiliation of going through consult and people seeing me. I met Devin and he reassured me that he would be able to fix it. Not only did he comfort me but I didn't leave feeling like a fool, I left feeling confident that he could fix my hair. Came today and service was great! Devin worked his magic on my hair. Once I saw my hair I was so shocked and excited! He made my hair look just like the picture i showed him that I wanted. I will def recommend him and this salon. Waxing / facial..Alex is the best! Alex did a 30 minute facial for my 9 year old daughter, and my daughter cannot stop talking about how amazing it was. My 12 year old had been begging for her brows to be waxed, but was nervous if it would hurt. Alex was very understanding and she explained it very well to her. My daughter was so happy with the results. I got waxing services also from Alex, and she was extremely gentle and took her time being very thorough. This is honestly the best experience I've ever had with waxing and we all walked away happy with perfectly done brows. I will book with Alex again for sure. read more

Beware of Lindsey Clark - at Prodigy....junior stylist...the roots and scalp of my hair turned red. I returned to have it fixed she behaved like a 2 year old totally unprofessional. Put foils in and then left. Another stylist in training had to come and rinse my hair out/blow dry it. My two favorite stylists have moved over to Lyndons. Hannah does my hair and she is AWESOME!!! She's highlighted, cut, dyed and waxed me and she's always done a great job. I don't have to worry about a thing. When she was out for maternity leave Lindsey fixed my hair from a botched cut I got at another salon. She's also great! The location is nice and the salon is clean and pretty. Love the Aveda products. Over priced. $25 for 2 min dry hair treatment. Spray shine used to detangle. Stylist unfamiliar w/ products. Products requested not available in the Aveda line. Shampoo chairs comfortable. Nice décore. Head not fully shampooed, at least at the scalp, very little product used. Noticed lots of color being applied, but few cuts. No mirror offered, to see end result. Today was the last straw. My wife has not been happy with this Aveda salon for since we moved here to Clarksville (6 months ago). One of her main issues is they do not do the Aveda signature Sensory Journey. There are other small things I'm not going to mention. However, the last straw was them calling 1 1/2 hours prior to her appointment to cancel and to top it off it is the day before we are leaving to go out of town. The reason was not due to some emergency. The reason is her stylist was running so far behind they needed to cancel her appointment and no one else can take her in. I went in for a color overhaul. My blonde was brassy and a solid color all over. Lindsey did EXACTLY what I asked, based on a single old picture on my phone. I couldn't be happier! I started going to Lyndons back in 2005, Danny was wonderful over the years, since Danny left I have been with 2 other stylist-one in which is no longer there (messed up my hair) and the other stylist started out good but recently not so good. I had to return 3x on different occasions for a fix(one of those someone else took care of it). I thought I would give her another try and my last visit she was not as friendly-I got the feeling she did not want to do my hair. I really liked Lyndons on Madison & disappointed that I have to find another Salon. I totally understand that people have "off" days. Have been going to Lyndon's since I was a kid. Wayne has always given me a great cut. I have thick, dark hair and he is great at thinning it out and adding shape. I love having a stylist I can say "just give me something new and cute" and know I won't be disappointed. I always get tons of compliments on my new cuts!! read more

Terrible experience with eyelash technician. This is a spa atmosphere with unprofessional, strip mall*staff and technicians. $200 initial full set of individual lashes Sparse /"hoo - ville /cartoon- ish "lashes that were clumpy /sparse /and wirey. Asked specifically for natural look. I've been getting individual extensions for nearly 6 years. Great experience with extensions until I tried this place. Lashes were sloppy, technician was unprofessional, and lashes didn't last, despite higher end cost. I spent $300 for less than a a month. "Spa" was a joke. My appointment was more than an hour delayed, technician was gossiping with other employees /laid her cell 5 inches from my ear, vibrating the entire time, and I waited for more than an hour past my appointment time.. No apologies No explanation And absurd, clumpy, strip mall, ghetto lashes. Incidentally.. I tipped this girl $30 total. For $300 /2 visits. Never. Again read more
