In scouts we did a lot of hikes to Dungeon Rock, Balancing Boulder, Wolf Pits, Steel Tower, Rock Tower, and all the other attractions in these woods. There's no camping and no fires. This is essentially a municipal park, second only to Central Park in NYC. What is intriguing is the history the woods have. There is a body of drinking water that the town uses for its water but the trails are not super close to it. For a bit of one, you can walk near it and the views are pretty. We saw a cool bird near the water - but couldn't tell what it was. It seems like there are some swampy areas so be prepared for the bugs and don't forget to always check for ticks. They're really bad this year!
