A few of my favorite stores are Dillards and Macey's'. With department stores dying these two do well. Another favorite is Apple which our family has purchased products from over the years. The overall appearance has changed over the years for the better and continues to be a draw for business who want to sign leases. If there is a negative it can be parking, but that's ok. That's the price of success. I will also say the lot is clean and secured. I will continue to be a regular shopper at Lynnhaven Mall.

It almost felt like Christmas except with white lights and the humid heat of summer. Lights shine from the urban apartments in the buildings where one can live and walk to just about anything. The Plaza is a wonderful focal point. The vision of a planned Uptown, miles from the lights and glitter of the oceanfront, was a wonderful one. Upscale shopping, restaurants, housing and theaters abound. Grocery shopping is now available in the form of Trader Joe's, which occupies a space in the same area of Regal Cinemas. Town Center is a vision that became reality and continues to grow throughout the years.

Our most favorite time of the year is during Summer Fest at Town Center Fountain Plaza. We love the…read morelive music and variety of bands that perform Friday - Sunday nights from 5 - 9 PM. This is a free concert that brings out all ages. The shade of the trees and lights in the plaza make the events a fun and festive opportunity to enjoy the warmer evenings at no cost. We always make a point to enjoy a nice meal at a neighboring restaurant and then set up chairs to get a great view of the band and everyone dancing to the music.

While I am sad and inconvenienced by Starbucks' departure, the shopping center offers plenty. CVS, Hallmark, and The Fresh Market are among my most frequent visits. Adele Diamond is the best jewelry store with amazing owners and fantastic staff. There are also a few restaurants and bakeries to enjoy. When I had a gym membership, I frequented the YMCA.

Sometimes there is confusion with other Hilltop stores at the intersection so keep in mind there is signage. The Shops at Hilltop are located on the Southeast corner off the intersection of Laskin and First Colonial. All the shops are collectively known as The Shoppes of Hilltop. However, the break it down by East and West. Customers have one access point off First Colonial and three off Laskin. If there is a drawback it's the bottleneck on the First Colonial side during rush. I have never had an issue with parking. The lot can be a bit hit or miss on debris. They do have a few security guards that patrol. I have never felt unsafe. The stores I frequent the most are Fruitive, Fresh Market, Bottlecraft, Bakers Crust, Cobalt Grille, Tino and Nectar. A few more in between as there are a lot of stores. My family enjoy the Shoppes at Hilltop and I would recommend working them in your rotation. Many are local businesses which is more reason.

Their Website indicates "temporarily closed for remodeling". But I saw no construction activity. Panera Bread is gone leaving an empty storefront. The large Rite Aid built on an out parcel is closed. It's sad since I remember when it was built, providing a walking distance drug store during the work day. Remaining are the familiar Mo's, ABC Store & Sushi/Hibachi buffet among others. Being one who doesn't like change my nostalgic trip wasn't a positive one. But there were many Pandemic casualties. So I shouldn't have been surprised.

Parkway Plaza is an older shopping strip, but it's also well maintained…read more Located off South Lynnhaven Parkway. The sign is large enough, but sits back. The strip is known for its barrel tile. If I'm using Parkway it's for an out business Chick Fil A that sits directly off the road. I'm usually there a few times a year, it's not my usual store. I'm not a fan of the small parking lot layout. Good strip that's clean and only hitch could be parking which is a bit limited.

There was a Food Lion anchoring the Shopping Center & I was out of my favorite bread. The center has plenty of parking, including handicapped spaces near the entrance to Food Lion. The businesses, other than the large Food Lion, were underwhelming, Sharing the center was a Bar, Puerto Rican Restaurant, Pizza Hut, Barber Shop, Nail Salon, Insurance Agent and a few other spots. Since this is located so far from my house I doubt I'll ever return. Isn't that a line from my favorite Robert Frost poem?

It's a winding, clean, up to date shopping area with a plethora of stores & eateries too numerous to list. Landstown Commons is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The restaurant I visited was in a cute area with a small one way around and back with a greenway & trees in the middle. It was very aesthetically pleasing. The selections of businesses in this area were mixed and varied, leading one to want to revisit & explore. What a change the Dam Neck, General Booth area has experienced in the almost 40 years since we were house hunting following our move from Atlanta. During that time there were almost no housing developments in the area. We looked at one under construction on the east side of General Booth. But there was absolutely no shopping centers or eateries. It felt as if we were in the country, in the midst of fields. Dam Neck & Plaza Trail had not been extended. Nimmo Parkway didn't exist. Who would want to live in an area with no amenities? But who could have envisioned what it would become. Now the area is teaming with shopping, restaurants & housing developments. After my first visit I think Landstown Commons must be the crown jewel of them all. Even though it's a long distance from my house, it will require another exploration visit. It was too near sundown on my first visit to stay. There may be similar areas. I see an exploration trip in my future.

There is a great variety of eateries and stores that satisfies my need to window shop or spend money! The center has 2 entrances - 1 on Princess Anne Rd and 1 on Dam Neck, both with stoplights. The PA entrance can be a little hairy during the lunch hour or busy weekends, but isn't too bothersome. There are always those who don't want to abide by the unspoken rules of the 3-way stop and yield to incoming traffic. There is ample parking if you don't mind not parking directly in front of the store you are going to during busy hours. Several of the stores (Carter's, Ulta, Old Navy) have curbside pick up so you may see vehicles parked on the curb. I really like that I can hit Kohl's and the aforementioned stores on foot easily as they are on opposite sides of the parking lot from each other. Best Buy is also convenient along with several other boutique stores, Phoenix Salon Suites, IT stores, you name it. Most of the eateries (aside from BWW, IHOP, Ynot and Super Ninja) are on a separate roundabout near the Dam Neck entrance. This can get a little crazy at lunch hour too, so I always recommend parking behind the restaurants for easy-in/easy-out. The center is well-maintained and always looks clean. I notice the golf cart occasionally making the morning rounds before 8am to empty bins and pick up stray trash. So long as I'm working nearby, you can find me here on the regular!

I had the opportunity to visit just a few times ever. Once was Burger, Breaks & Shakes was there...it's gone with a lot of others. The main anchors would be considered Goodwill, Rainbow and Value City. Another store at the end with a lot of square feet has been a close out store for years. I think it was a Steinmart at one time. Sports Authority went out of business months ago. There is a smaller strip that runs parallel that has Philip Michael for Men, Tropical Smoothie and a few others. I visited the men's store Phillip Michael today. Overall a sad strip with many vacant stores that has little business. Retail as a whole is hurting and this is a prime example.

I've brought family and friends here, had date nights for my birthday or anniversaries or special occasions, and come here to carb-load before running weekends. There is a Nothing Bundt Cakes here and they have the best cakes I've ever had so I always stop to get these for special occasions and they're the only cakes I want for my birthday. There is a Chico's here which now also sells Soma Intimates from their sister brand. There is also a shop right beside Chico's which exclusively sells Lily Pulitzer clothing and has some seriously gorgeous and colorful and fun clothing inside. Some of the spots have changed on and off throughout the years: a coffee shop, bridal shops (this is where I got a stunning wedding dress for my 2015 wedding). Parking is easy, there is plenty, and it's always immaculate. This is a great spot with some nice, niche shops and Aldo's is one of my favorite local restaurants. Service is always excellent and food is top notch! The only issue is the access roads off Laskin, but they're working on those and hopefully all will be better in coming years.

She has several vendors that put things on consignment plus she sells different things that she picks up from EstateSales. I would recommend checking it out!
