How surprised I was when my GPS took me to this large shopping area for a specific restaurant. I…read morehad no idea that it existed. It's a winding, clean, up to date shopping area with a plethora of stores & eateries too numerous to list. Landstown Commons is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The restaurant I visited was in a cute area with a small one way around and back with a greenway & trees in the middle. It was very aesthetically pleasing. The selections of businesses in this area were mixed and varied, leading one to want to revisit & explore. What a change the Dam Neck, General Booth area has experienced in the almost 40 years since we were house hunting following our move from Atlanta. During that time there were almost no housing developments in the area. We looked at one under construction on the east side of General Booth. But there was absolutely no shopping centers or eateries. It felt as if we were in the country, in the midst of fields. Dam Neck & Plaza Trail had not been extended. Nimmo Parkway didn't exist. Who would want to live in an area with no amenities? But who could have envisioned what it would become. Now the area is teaming with shopping, restaurants & housing developments. After my first visit I think Landstown Commons must be the crown jewel of them all. Even though it's a long distance from my house, it will require another exploration visit. It was too near sundown on my first visit to stay. There may be similar areas. I see an exploration trip in my future.

There is a great variety of eateries and stores that satisfies my need to window shop or spend money! The center has 2 entrances - 1 on Princess Anne Rd and 1 on Dam Neck, both with stoplights. The PA entrance can be a little hairy during the lunch hour or busy weekends, but isn't too bothersome. There are always those who don't want to abide by the unspoken rules of the 3-way stop and yield to incoming traffic. There is ample parking if you don't mind not parking directly in front of the store you are going to during busy hours. Several of the stores (Carter's, Ulta, Old Navy) have curbside pick up so you may see vehicles parked on the curb. I really like that I can hit Kohl's and the aforementioned stores on foot easily as they are on opposite sides of the parking lot from each other. Best Buy is also convenient along with several other boutique stores, Phoenix Salon Suites, IT stores, you name it. Most of the eateries (aside from BWW, IHOP, Ynot and Super Ninja) are on a separate roundabout near the Dam Neck entrance. This can get a little crazy at lunch hour too, so I always recommend parking behind the restaurants for easy-in/easy-out. The center is well-maintained and always looks clean. I notice the golf cart occasionally making the morning rounds before 8am to empty bins and pick up stray trash. So long as I'm working nearby, you can find me here on the regular!

And when I was ready to check out I had to move around to get someone to notice me and ask me if I was checking out and when I did get check out the associate that assist me was short with me and was not really getting welcomed vibes and when she gave me my receipt I was expecting like a typical shopping bag but I guess they do not do that or at least told me they do not. And when she was done she just kind of walked off . Overall experience was not terrible but it wasn't the best customer service interaction and I feel like as a business that serves with intent to make people feel welcome and appreciate it to find nostalgic pieces or even fashion in general should feel equally welcome and it just felt divided there . And I actually only stopped by because I was near the area and I was recommended by this by vintage store nearby. The only good thing that I can say is that the clothes options were really good and the price throughout the store was good and the way there organized the store was nice where you had a variety to pick from and I was able to find a lounge beach top with a black top and cargo pants skirt a perfect outfit for the beach or lunch date and more. Again, I wouldn't recommend going to this establishment other than buying clothes, but I hope in the future that they work on their customer service skills and treats people equally

First time and was impressed with the Red Mill Walmart. It's a long haul from where I live, but I…read morewas in the area dining at Blue Seafood & Spirits. Plenty of parking and the lot was clean. When entering they were very low on shopping carts. Walmart security was at the entrance well as VB City PD. I only needed to grab a few items, but decided to browse and do price comparisons since I'm not a regular at Walmart. The store was pretty busy for Saturday afternoon. The store was clean and shelves overall stocked well. Something that I now focus on is organic produce. In my opinion it was very strong with excellent prices. I witnessed staff stocking in many of the aisles. Every time I browse I compare prices and I must say hands down Walmart undercuts everyone's price point. It may be 10 cents, it may be a dollar. I utilized self checkout and had no issue. I do recommend you register for their rewards program. Staff was at the checkout area and engaged me to say have a good day. I would say this is the best Walmart Super Center I've shopped in Virgin nis Beach and it's the furthest too! Solid 4 stars.

Walmart is a community place, everybody shops here. The old gray haired lady door greeter was so…read morevenomous I feel it needs to be addressed by management. We adopted a Golden Retriever puppy this morning from a reputable local service dog trainer and breeder. Ace is 4 months into legitimate service dog training which is a very demanding training routine. We stopped at the store to pick up some baby gates and the greeter was extremely irritated to the point of being unprofessional and irrationally agitated. There was no warmth in the interaction, it felt so strange that it instantly became an unpleasant experience. I explained that the puppy is in training as a service animal, but she was so angry at there being an animal in front of her that I don't think she wanted to understand. It was embarrassing and everyone around went from adoring a cute puppy into awkwardly avoiding this angry old woman who is barking orders like someone just committed a heinous crime in front of her face. Please train her to control her anger. If a shopper is breaking a store policy, I expect the process should be to inform them and not to lecture them. There's no room in customer service for that kind of aggression. I have no idea why this situation would make somebody become spitting mad, but I have no interest in being mistreated by some random employee on a power trip when a simple respectful conversation would have been appropriate. Unfortunately, it's difficult to avoid shopping at Walmart entirely. Being mistreated definitely doesn't make me want to come back. I can say there is clearly a problem with this one door greeter that should be examined by management. If she's having such a bad day that she can't even speak respectfully, the least she could do is keep that venom to herself and not share it with random shoppers.
