We found this place on Google map as the Vietnamese place my friend wanted to take me is closed. So many Vietnamese restaurants are not open on Sunday and Monday here but Lynn's is open. It was not busy at all when we got here around 6 pm, with only one other table taken. There were a few take out and pick up orders when we were there. The reviews recommended the wonton soup so I had to try that. The best wonton soup I had in a Vietnamese restaurant was in vancouver and it has since ceased operations but I still remember the taste. Unfortunately the wonton soup here was ok, quite average. But if Vernon doesn't have much choices in wonton soup, it is ok to order but just don't expect to be wowed. Besides wonton, there are shrimps and veggies (broccoli and carrots). We also ordered the house spring rolls to share. It was not as crispy as I would like as I found it a bit hard to bite through the roll. My friend had his usual item of the grilled pork patty, shrimps and spring rolls on rice vermicelli (#48). He said it was ok but not as good as his favorite restaurant. Reason being it didn't have as much veggies as the other one. The food is always good here but they will turn you away if you want to eat in up to half an hour before closing time. An extra 1/2 hour of their time is obviously not worth the money or the loyalty. We decided to go somewhere else and they sat us with no issues as they had other patrons in the restaurant anyway. If the sign says open you should be open to dine in customers I think. read more

I had a delicious, quick lunch today. I ordered the bánh mì and wonton soup combo. The traditional Vietnamese sandwich was smaller but more delicious than a subway sub. I ordered the grilled chicken one and it came with the traditional cucumber, shredded pickled carrot and and white radish, and chopped cilantro. The bun was soft but also crunchy crusty goodness. If you are looking for that secret hole-in-the-wall restaurant that only the locals know about, this is it. It has the BEST wonton soup as well as the tastiest broth for Pho. It is also the most inexpensive Vietnamese restaurant for Pho in Vernon. This family-run business is very friendly, has quick service, typical Vietnamese large portion sizes, and a quiet ambiance. Amazing local family-run restaurant! We come here for take-out lots, and it simply never disappoints. Always fresh and consistently delicious, the food we order is amazing. We love the sub sandwich combo, and we got the rare beef pho today, which was really fantastic tasting. The food is always prepared quickly, and it's hot and fresh when I pick it up. Lunch with a friend. We walked in and were greeted with a warm smile and friendly waitress. As soon as we sat down a col bottle of water was brought over for each of us. Bottled water we asked? Waitress said owner wanted the bottles served that day because of a water advisory the day before. We ordered our meals. While we waited for our meals ,the waitress brought out 2 spring rolls for us. We did not order theses but they were complimentary oh so good and right out of the fryer. I'm not sure how they prepare the chicken but the flavour is awesome. Huge portions are served. Stopped in one evening for a quick bite after reading more than a few recommendations, place was busy and staff were working hard but friendly. Grabbed dinner for myself one night when others wanted Subway, so I tucked over to Lynn's for Vietnamese. One word - YUM!!!! Such friendly service, huge servings, and not a long wait for my take out order. While I was waiting, staff served me complimentary green tea and two spring rolls with chili sauce! Wow! Mind blown! The food was among the best Asian I've had in the okanagan. I ordered take out as I waited they brought myself a water and a spring roll. Very rare do you get something extra for free. Only con was the fish sauce was a bit bland but I'm guessing you could have that changed I would eat here again read more

I have eaten here several times with my parents who come twice weekly. The food is fresh, flavourful, and well prepared. You leave feeling like family has fed you.
