I made my way to dinner on the way, and then to Markley. First thing first, the pictures on Yelp and Google must be way old. The room is WAY nicer in person. Looks like a lot of work has been done since then. New Diamond tables. Clean blue cloth. New and clean furniture. Fresh paint on the wall. It's clean-clean! So... if you are a serious pool player, or even a hobbyist pool player, definitely consider making your way to this room. Tables are $6/hr. The establishment is cash only. I didn't see any alcohol, but there are drinks and snacks available for purchase, as well as your typical pool gear (chalk, gloves, cues, accessories). There's a combination of 7' and 9' ft Diamonds. The balls are the Aramith Tournament set. And they are clean. Racks tight. Smooth. Table runs straight and fast. A poolplayer's dream! Staff is nice and friendly, and so are the other patrons. I think I was here on a slow night as there were only 2-3 other parties in the room. Five out of five stars for sure. Solid pool room. Solid experience. Music doesn't suck.
