Handyman stopped communicating…read more.... This is 1 out of about 10 reviews I'm completing on Yelp today. I've been trying to get someone to install a bi-fold closet door in my guest bedroom for a few months now. I have yet to find anyone reliable. I have received quotes and exchanged messages on yelp and phone but no one has came to take measurements or tried to communicate. Its usually when I state I live in Cutler Bay that communication stops. I want anyone with a trade that is useful to treat all consumers the same. Whether I live on Star Island, Coral Gables, Homestead or Hialeah it shouldn't matter. If I ask for your services keep the same energy throughout. It shouldn't matter if a project is too small. Money is the same. Think about the little people.... we matter also. The thing about me is that I am willing to buy all the supplies if I'm given the measurements and what to buy. That's one less thing for a handyman to do. But not everyone thinks like me. *deep sigh* On the other hand....I get it though...being a handyman isn't easy because people constantly call you, projects that you thought were going to take 2 days ends up taking two months. I understand. I get it that when you finish one project the same people call you back for more to do. You make commitments but its hard to keep up, especially when you work alone. I'm an understanding consumer. My recommendation is get an assistant. Use your wife, children, family members, friends etc to write your appointments and answer calls. Buy a large calendar and write down your commitments. Utilize one day just for house visits. Download an app to help. But by all means.... Communicate! The moment I have to ask if you're still coming....It's a one star review.

He tells me he only services areas around Coral Gables. I live in Miami Springs which I tell him is 15-20 mins away and he tells me that's way too far he only does the Coral Gables area. Are you serious this seems ridiculous, why not put that on your website so you don't waste peoples time. I should have known this place wouldn't work out when they don't even return calls.

Delta Eden was hired for a garage conversion to an in laws quarters with permits. Time of…read morecompletion was estimated to take 6-9 months. Construction began 5/2024, official plans weren't completed until 5/2025. To date as of 8/2026 construction has not been completed, permits have not been satisfied. Not all permits were applied for and there has been multiple code violations. As of 7/2026 Anthony has stopped responding to all forms of communication. Throughout this process we have been constantly mislead and flat out lied to. This has been the worse experience. It has caused so much emotional and financial turmoil. Not to mention the work that has been done has not been done well.

My initial contact with FSR was in the midst of the COVID pandemic but with all the uncertainties…read moreof COVID we put the reroof for our patio roof on hold. A complete roof replacement had been done on the home about 15 years ago. The building code did not permit the metal roof to extend over the patio because of the patio's slope and modified bitumen roof installed. Over time a corner area began to lift and a small area along the flashing began showing a small leak in a bedroom. The roofer had gone out of business and we couldn't get a response from the product warranty so the search began for a roofer. We learned not all roofers do the repair we needed and not all roofers are interested in anything less than a full roof replacement. My initial quote was in 2021 and I reached out again to FSR mid-January 2024. The cost increase from the initial quote was anticipated but completely reasonable. The final inspection was approved in the second week of February. The process could have been even faster if we hadn't taken so long to sign the documents. Our experience with FSR was fabulous. Everything was done via email, text, cell and DocuSign. Communication was excellent. FSR did all permitting with the county. Once a start date was established it was completed on day two as projected and the final inspection completed and approved on day three. We know as our main roof ages who we will call when the eventual replacement is needed. It was a great experience and we would recommend FSR without reservations.
