Under Florida Statute 83.49, landlords or property managers are required to return a security deposit within 15 days (or provide a written claim within 30 days), but it has now been 34 business days and I have not received my deposit or details related to its progress. I've made multiple attempts to reach the management via e-mail and in-person with no thorough explanation other than stating that they are sorry for the delay. This lack of professionalism and disregard for Florida tenant law is unacceptable. I hope this review encourages better business practices for future tenants. This company is extremely disorganized and, in my opinion, operates in a dishonest and unprofessional manner. Association fees are raised year after year, yet there is little to no visible improvement in property maintenance. Repairs are either not completed properly or ignored altogether, leaving the property in poor condition. There are also serious concerns about financial management. Funds, reserves, and payments appear to be mishandled, and the association is consistently pushed into debt. Additionally, the company fails to comply with legal obligations by not providing homeowners with proper documentation or transparency regarding how money is being spent. Board elections and meetings are not conducted appropriately, and homeowners are not given a fair or transparent process. Communication is another major issue--calls and emails from residents often go unanswered, leaving concerns unresolved. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. I strongly caution any association considering working with this company.
