Delays in filling or releasing prescriptions can leave older patients without medications they rely on. Even when there is a legitimate reason for a delay, the communication has often been poor, and the interactions have felt dismissive rather than compassionate. I understand that pharmacies face staffing shortages, insurance requirements, inventory issues, and many challenges that customers don't always see.
