I live in what the real estate people call a "Mid-Century Ranch". Cute name for a house built in the 1950's. So it obvious the water well is almost 70 years old. Mark Inglett the owner of Well Pros shared his knowledge and experiences in working on older wells. Once I understood the Best case/Worst case scenarios and the risk involved I decided to proceed. When the day arrived they carefully laid a plywood track across the yard to protect the lawn and irrigation system. They precisely aligned the equipment and began the task of breaking the pump seals and loosing the "Pit Less Adaptor". This is the elbow valve that redirects the flow of water from straight up to the house. Because of it's age it has a leather gasket that could be damaged. They carefully removed multiple sections of drop pipe. The old pump was removed and the new one attached and they reversed the process and lowered the new pump. Flushed the system and within a few hours everything was working perfectly. Mark and his team delivered the best case scenario outcome, at a price that was discussed and included in the estimate. When he finally gave us a time, he didn't show until the next day after we had altered our schedule to be at home. He did not call to let us know he wasn't going to be showing. And after that, the well still has the bacteria contamination (he didn't get it resolved). When we called back, he wouldn't give us any indication of a time-frame of when we could expect him to fix his problem and ended up being told to "find someone else to do the work". Very unprofessional.

And, it was sent out of state-not even to the house I live in. And they continue to hit me with finance charges.
