Enjoyed their soft, not-overly-salted, German, warm pretzel. Beecher's cheese sauce that it comes with was tasty with the pretzel but really enjoyed the condiment bar. Primarily for bratwurst orders, the apple cider sauerkraut, pickled jalapeños, sweet relish, and 10+ different sauces were fun to try and delicious. Order at the walk-up counter, get a buzzer, pickup your food when the buzzer buzzes. Others in my group enjoyed the bratwurst and lemonade (they said wasn't too sweet).

It was my first time visiting Leavenworth, and trying a bratwurst was high on my list. There are plenty of places to choose from, but I decided on Muchen House after seeing its strong Yelp reviews. I ordered the Big Boy Bratwurst. The bratwurst itself was flavorful and juicy. One of the highlights was the condiment bar, which featured about 20 different types of mustard and sauces, including sauerkraut. I topped mine with sauerkraut, mayo, onions, sweet relish, garlic aioli, and four different mustards: Chipotle, Dirty Face Amber, Sweet & Hot, and Smoky Garlic & Onion. I put a different mustard on each quarter of the bratwurst so I could sample a variety of flavors. I enjoyed all of them, although, to be honest, many of the mustards tasted fairly similar to me. The sandwich was $10.65 before tax, which felt very reasonable for a popular tourist destination. I don't know if I'll ever make it back to Leavenworth, so I'm glad I had the chance to try it. It was a tasty meal and a fun part of my visit.

You walk through an American German town to a small bier garden tucked at the end of the street. You order and pay at the front of the restaurant and walk back into the garden to grab seating. There is a lot of self serve mustards and condiments available for use on your sausage. Everything was delicious & the beer was very good. Food was ready quickly. Would recommend.

We went early on a Saturday and there was already a line to order. You placed your order and then could go in and get a seat. The line did move fast. It is outdoor seating but there is shade and two levels to find seating. Lots of benches to share. The service was good. I loved that there was a gluten free bun option and it was good. The potato salad was really good. We all enjoyed our variety of brats and definitely liked the variety of mustards and the sauerkraut.

Our favorite place to eat whenever we are in Leavenworth. Surprise took me this long to write a review. Great great bratwurst and pretzel. Plenty of food and beer selection. Plenty of seating area. Tons of people will come here; specially in the warmer season. And TONS of sauces you can put on your bratwurst! The workers are friendly, the foods are great; and the overall vibe is great. Plenty of good restaurant around as well; but would recommend you try this place if you can; you wont be dissapointed. Took our friends here on their visit; they loved it.

How do you beat an ice cold beer and sausage on a hot day? There was a long line but moved at a good pace. Staff were friendly and the table area was kept very clean especially for the amount of people coming and going. If you have been to Solvang in California, it tasted and felt exactly the same as their beer/sausage garden, which means no complaints for me! Definitely worth eating at!

Relaxing ambient with live music in the afternoon. Everything we had was tasty. Really enjoyed the vegetarian options I got (so happy they had other options besides beyond meat substitutes). We were a bit overwhelmed by the options for condiments (so many mustard options).

This place is so fun! We got in the long line and it did not disappoint. There was a QR code in the line that you can scan and quickly look over the menu. We decided to order the Big Bob and the Han's Jalapeño and cheddar along with a bowl of Chilli de Carne. We were then guided to the seating area where we shared the large table with another couple. Not long, our food was ready and I went to pick it up. At the condiment stand, there was a lot of sauces for the brats. I put what I thought was tasty on the brats and bought it back to the table to share with my husband. The Big Bob goes well with the Chili. I would definitely recommend those combinations.

This was our first Leavenworth meal. It was the one place my boyfriend wanted to try, so we waited in line. There was someone handing out menus while we were waited our turn. You order at the window & are given a buzzer once your food ready. There is a variety condiments for you to try on your food. We got the Big Bob bratwurst, dirtyface beer wurst, & the warm bavarian pretzel. The Big Bob which according to the menu is the best seller for a reason. The more simple choice which gives you free range to sauce area. The bratwurst itself was so juicy. Boyfriend enjoyed & said it was his favorite meal of the trip. The pretzel served warm, so soft with just the right amount of butter & salt. Oh & can't forget about the cheese sauce it comes with, was amazing. Highly recommend getting the pretzel too. These guys worked the line down pretty quickly,so we didnt wait too long. Definitely stop here, you wont regret it.

For a bunch of non-Germans Leavenworth does a great job of making this German girl feel homesick! This is very Bavarian. Stand in line. In the cold. Order brats. Stand in line. Order beer. Get beer. Get brats. How many styles of mustard do these guys have? If you're lucky enough to find a heated table you'll have a great time. If not you'll at least have a good time!

Delicious!! Loved their hot dog! I'm picky with sausages and bratwurst só I didn't order that. But their hot dog was really good!! The potato salad was not good tho. I did not like how it was cold and very simple in flavor. Other than that this place is cute! We came when it opened as there was no line. In the evenings it looks like the line packs up huge so we didn't think it was worth the wait lol.

We visited in March. Line around lunch time to order was fairly fast. Smaller seating area than expected for how recommended this place was, but we were able to find a table easily. Pretzel with Beecher's cheese is a must! Kid and pet friendly. Offers free temporary tattoos at beer station. Military discount given!

Okay so I found the place slightly over rated from what was in my mind. The place is still pretty decent and if you are hungry and wants to try some german good - be sure to check out the place. Personally the Spinach Chicken Sausage I tried was very average and also not up to the mark. However they made it up with their delicious tasting Pretzel . Pretzels were actually super good. I also tried the local beer from Icicle Brewery and I loved it. The ambience is cool..they have indoor sitting area which is quite spacious along with rooftop which you stood try out.

Hence our visit to the Sausage Garden. The seating was great and spacious, even had headers under the covered areas which was super nice. Now to the food.... Sadly a bit disappointed in that area. We had a large group of folks so a good variety of sausages were ordered. The kids ordered the curry wurst and seemed to like it for the most part. For those that ordered the bratwurst we had a tough time eating cause the shell seemed to be incredible thick and hard to bite. Taste overall was okay, a bit on the salty side but not horrible. Just really hard to physically chew is where I struggled with. Also ordered the soup which was very broth and simple. Since there was potatoes I was thinking it would be a bit thicker but it hit the spot nonetheless. Overall impression, not a bad place with a nice place to take a rest. There are tastier places near by but I do enjoy the thought of supporting something more local. Just with the food wasn't so tough to consume.

Also got the falafel wrap and a side salad. My family member was interested in ordered a blended drink as listed on the menu, but she was informed that their machine was broken. That's unfortunate, especially since it was quite toasty outside. We had ordered everything all at once, but they must have forgotten the pretzel. Once our main entrees arrived, we had to ask for the pretzel again as it hadn't been brought out. Not a huge deal, but we thought it was a slight inconvenience that you have to go up and order your food, and pay, instead of a server coming over to take your order. Maybe it's just meant to be more casual? My family member also had to go up to someone at the bar and ask for a drink refill. It was hard to flag someone down. Seems to be a common complaint? Note to the owner, if you don't want to put meat in the schnitzel, don't serve it or make it more expensive to cover the cost so people get food and not fried breading. How service is dealing with issues is also important, especially when problems are clearly known. German inspired doesn't mean serving subpar food is ok, but I guess in a town like this, a couple complaints don't matter, plenty more people are coming.
