The whole process from start to finish was effortless. I texted frequently with both Lexi and Morgan and we sent pictures back and forth about what I was hoping the space to look like in the two weeks leading up to the remodel. We set a low budget, and Lexi was able to fit a complete remodel within my budget. My favorite aspect of the design was the wall feature. At first we thought she was going to have to contract that feature out, which would have cost a thousand + more dollars, but then she decided she and her team could tackle it themselves, and they did a beautiful job!! I picked out some furniture pieces, and so did she. She was able to incorporate sentimental pieces into the design and even printed family photos to hang. I was shocked at how easy and quickly this whole process was. I simply found her online, told her I wanted to do a surprise redo of my husbands at home office while we were away on a 3 day Vegas trip, and she took the wheel and made it happen! I was so thankful to give my husband such a special gift- a space of his own to work in peace, and style! Thank you Lexi and your team, we love it!! We hired Ande to design our kitchen cabinet layout as well as living room & dining room furniture/decor. She "sold" herself as an experienced professional designer. Her initial involvement was great. However, Once we received her layouts it was downhill from there. We quickly realized that she was not skilled or capable of coming up with a design that we wanted. Using very basic tools to draw up our kitchen. We had to FIX & CHANGE everything from her layout What we experienced: * LACKS knowledge about functionality and appliance placement. In her design she put my oven against the perimeter cabinets only leaving access to one side. * Lacks attention to detail. Our plumbing was incorrectly place due to her design. * Lack of follow through- was not present during ANY of the installs. * Lacks knowledge on creating basic mood board creation(she used a photo collage app/ see attached ) * Lacks listening skills. All her selections and suggestions were NOT my style and never could get it right. * Over promising/under delivering- her contract read that she would design kitchen layout and help with dinning, living and sitting room . She not only did not deliver an acceptable kitchen design, she did no work in other rooms as stated in contract. * Unethical- Ande is currently claiming that our kitchen was her design on social platforms. A design she did not create :/- her and her husband asked one of their subs to take professional pics of our home so she could submit it to design magazine as her own. She did that because she knew we would not approve of her taking credit. We DID NOT use ANY of her designs or ANY recommended selections. I've attached a copy of her "Final Design" it looks like NOTHING we built. In our experience with Ande, we found her to lack professional experience, maturity and accountability. Lastly, we unfortunately hired her husband as our GC and found multiple over charges on his invoices. We do not recommend.

The principals were looking for American quality interior designers, and my job was to find the best interior designer in the US. After much time and effort, I chose Karen. They were not the biggest, but they were definitely the best. They have only the best people working for them, their attention to detail is 2nd to none, they are extremely professional and organized, and they are very easy to work with (which is a must if you're working for people in Turkey). Cultural differences would have made this project impossible for almost any other interior design organization, but with tremendous effort and perseverance, not only was the job completed successfully, but the interior design work was of a quality the nation of Turkey had never seen before. Once the models and sales office Karen designed were completed, prices quickly doubled and the development sold out. I understand that the impact they made with the ALKENT 2000 project near Istanbul has created other opportunities for them in Turkey and that they are quite busy there. In addition to my professional recommendation above, I also wanted to state that you will be dealing with people of the highest ethical and moral standards when you deal with Karen and Rick.
