I've been there three×1st experience was good, Second experience was OK but today I was very disappointed. It feels like the prices are not consistent I feel like I was overcharged, for the same service that I've already had two other times. The prices are not clearly displayed. My first time going there I got my eyebrows done and I was burned by the wax, they do go out of their way to pressure you to get more services done. Today I was waiting for my nails to dry and I was told that I had to get up because she needed the chair for the next customer but I could go sit and wait for five minutes in the waiting area. I work in Drexel Hill, long hours, and my boss comes to this salon. I never would have stumbled upon it if it weren't for her. I take nail salon recommendations seriously as I am often unsatisfied after trying somewhere new. All of the nail techs here are very friendly and they can paint a mean nail. I haven't gotten crazy with my nail art here (like, at all) but the lines of their French manicure are perfectly even. Also, here is maybe the best part, their pedicures are heavenly. They are generous with the massages and the most basic pedi includes hot stones. Ooooh, I just got goosebumps lol. The one issue I have with this place is that there is often a very long wait. It seems that instead of having me sit for an hour they would at least begin the soaking of my previous gel polish. Because I'm normally getting here at 6 (the earliest), I already worry that someone will rush through my mani -- and someone here has before. I just think they could work it out slightly better although even when it was rushed, it was still a good manicure. read more

I used to think it was such a nice place, but not anymore. The young man who seems to be the manager didn't even look up from his phone when I entered and when I left. I could live with that, although I find it rude and not very professional. But, what I don't want to deal with any more is that in addition to $30 for an SNS REFILL, they are now charging for "cut down". I've never experienced that in any nail salon that I've used. Cut down?? That is part of the refill process. It literally takes about 30 seconds and now it's an extra $3 on top of the rather steep $30?? Factoring in the $5 tip that I always give, that's $38 for a refill. Ridiculous. I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

Never visited the M & A in springfield. I always go to the one in Havertown, same owners however the Havertown location does not have a Facebook page. Sign up for email alerts as they will send you coupons monthly! They do a nice job, and I have been here a couple times already. So far I have gotten mani, pedi, and eyebrow waxing here. Only bad thing about the Havertown location is when it gets crowded you have to wait awhile they only tend to have two or three people working at a time. I will be back soon. After I finally found a nail tech after 3 years I walked out! They are underline racist. I've experienced it before! I made excuse and kept going back because of the quality service I would receive. But now.... I get 5.00 added to all my services Every time I go for some reason I get this.....You nail long 5.00, you pick pink 5.00, you want cuticle cut 5.00! I was seriously tired of being taking advantage of! No one, I mean no one ever gets that treatment, but me! I notice others getting the same service and they don't get asked to pay a different price! I've patronized M & A since their opening in 2011. The store is clean and my favorite staff person was Vickie who applied SNS, a product that makes my nails appear healthy, strong and long when in reality they are not. I was a great customer who patronized every 4-5 weeks. I've noted the past few months that they add on pricing upon checkout without notice and they denied their own coupons without expiration dates stating the coupons are stale. I'm sure they feel justified as now they're established and getting good ratings. Regardless, it's poor business practice. I've made management known about this issue as well as they're continued practice of using another language around customer's as this American feels when in USA dealing with USA clients use our languge when in our presents. I don't get my nails done often. When I do, I usually go to Bamboo but I decided to try M&A bc I got a coupon. My gel manicure lasted for nearly a month and it didn't harm my natural nails. People there are really nice too. Park in the back, plenty of space. read more

This was my first time here. I got a gel refill and a pedicure. They were very accommodating and started my nails when I was getting the pedicure, which saves a lot of time. Nina was very nice and helped me get through an ingrown nail I had on my one finger (which was my first one). I would go back. read more

Got my eyebrows done here, wish they could have cut a little bit more of my eyebrow hairs to make it thinner since I fill them in. She applied hot wax on my eyebrows and felt hotter than usual but whatever, got the job done :) lol read more

This was the most absolutely worst place to go after opening after the COVID 19 not only was I given gloves, and never asked if allergic to them... Which I highly am.... the crappy pedicure was a whole 15 minutes.. No cuticles were scraped, toe nails where filed with the worst beat used nail file she had ! Moved prices to $30 but didn't say till the end ! They also did not allow customers to dry there feet ... So yes left with wet toe nails, which were completely ruined by the drive home..... Eye brows no privacy at all wax in hair never used eye brow brush so they are very uneven.... I use to see Lisa in my past but your not allowed to pick a certain person... I wanted a full refund! I'm so mad if I could give no stars I would ..... That place is disgusting! Very unhappy with throwing away my $40 ! Just so the kind of person I am I still tipped $5 and ruined toe nails! Brows already look terrible! Very unpleased... btw if you want ur pedi to dry they wanted $2 more... again NO heads up ! read more

I have been going to this salon for years. The last couple of times the customer service hasn't been so great. The last time I went was the final straw. I was seated soaking in the pedicure chair, when 3 people that came in after me got their pedicures started before me. I let the first person slide but once I realized they were starting the the 2 people without starting me, I had to say something. I still waited another 5 minutes before someone actually started my feet. It was as if my money wasn't good enough. I spend about $100 every time I go in there because my husband and I both go. The owners of the salon could care less, they just try to get as many people in a chair so they don't leave, they don't care how long you actually sit there. They don't realize that they are not the only salon that does good nails. Customer service is very important and should be consistent. If you do still chose to go there please ask for Jason and Michael, they do the best nails in the shop. read more

I have been an on going customer and really like there SNS dip powder, it holds up really well. Unfortunately during my last visit I received some of the worst service I have ever received in my entire life. My manicure lasted maybe five minutes and was done very half ass. Every other women was seated at a table, receiving great treatment, besides me. I didn't feel like I should have had to pay for a shitty manicure but of course all they want is money unfortunately. The workers are more worried about how many customers they can fit into a short time frame so they can receive more tips then actually performing a decent manicure. I called here to make a last minute appointment and they said it's really slow so I could pick any time. I requested 3:30pm and then they put me in the book. I showed up early, gave my name and noticed that the salon was packed! I sat and waited until 3:55! When I sat down, Athena asked me if I've ever been there before and I said "No, and I almost left because I had a 3:30 appointment." The male working next to her says, "well that doesn't matter, you're here now." Well actually it DID matter, I was on a strict time limit. I was getting the SNS manicure and I'm used to salons putting acetone on a cotton ball onto the nail and then wrapping the nail in foil. They didn't do this. She just filed them down flat with the machine and then put more powder on top, causing them to be thicker than I'm used to. Within a week, one of my nails chipped all the way up the side but I refused to go back and have them fix it. Very unprofessional and charge $3 more than where I had gone before for less quality work. read more

I used to love coming here until the owner had completely treated me like a 2 yr old and how cheap he was. He also showed how he wants his girls to hurry it up during a pedicure. I always go to the same girl and I usually get the same few colors he actually talked me into a new color line and color. At the end on my second toe polished I immediately said I didn't like the lady said let's see what second coat looks like I said if I don't like is it gonna be a problem the answer was no so all was good, I was there at 10am on a Wednesday morning. I always go when they are not busy. Just then about 4-6 people walked in and I decided no not the color for me plus the new color line looked like paint not polish was very drab, so she painted to onyx black was real quick everything was fine in front of 6 customers he came back and talked to me like a white trash customer- saying I should pay extra but remember he's being nice, why wouldn't I have common scense to tell his worker to stop when I knew I didn't like color, look how busy there getting, I took up time it was horrible he now lost me as a client but worse I am a hair stylist and work at a salon that some of my clients want me to refer them to a nail salon cause our nails are real expensive, guess what word of mouth is everything. read more

great overall salon although somewhat easy to miss. right next to radioshack on a small plaza strip nearby best buy.. its modern and clean. prices are competitve and services excellent. ive been coming here since they've just opened. u can say i been around the block when selecting my own personal favorite salon. staff super friendly. place very comfortable with nice chairs that really pampers the customers.. easy to access and leave with plenty of parking on front side or rear. close to shopping on the main road. i go in for gel pedi and a wax everyweek or 2 depending on my schedule and they always do a great job. they take appointments over the phone for when i have special occasions or when i have a tight schedule and need to be in and out. otherwise walk ins are always welcome. they have great sales from time to time. read more

Awful awful awful! I made an appointment for my whole bridal party (which was 8 bridesmaids, my mom, me aunts, and myself) 2 weeks in advance but that proved to be a waste of time because they were not prepared for us at all! They didn't have enough staff and they literally rushed through everyone! Not what a bride needs the day before her wedding. The pedicures were done half assed and they looked horrible. More than half of the girls wanted a full set and I can honestly say I could have done a better job doing it myself. They started on my nails but stopped right after they applied the acrylic so they could rush through my pedicure. When I sat back down to "finish" my nails they skipped the parts where you smooth the nails with the sander tool. They never buffed them and then they attempted to paint on the French manicure with polish. It looked like somone did it with their eyes closed. I finally spoke up and they airbrushed it on. Well then they wouldn't accept the 20%coupon off the whole bridal party bc we didn't all pay in one transaction. Funny part is i asked them when i made the appointment if there were any stipulations or issues that would cause them to not accept coupon and they said no. But thats a bad business for yah, they provide provide a horrible service and then refuse to accept the coupon. They even tried to charge me for eyebrows being waxed when i didnt even have it done! So we over payed for horrible service! When I got home I noticed that when I placed my left hand and right hand fingers together not one nail was the same length. And after 2 days I noticed the nails looked like they had been on for 2 weeks. It want like i was cleaning or doing anything that would cause the nails to start falling off! i got married so there is no reason they should have looked like shit. I was so frustrated that I went back to the saloon today and they did see the problems but refused to apologize. They continued to tell me that everyone does it different but ironically she did exactly what I said that they didn't do, it was awful! She then tried to make me pay $5 for polish but the only reason they had to repaint them is because they messed up! And one of the other workers started to paint on the manicure and Politely asked for the airbrush bc that's what I had paid for previously but she stated "the airbrush machine has been broken for over a week". I laughed no said well that's funny bc I was just in here 2 days ago and it was fine. They ofourse did a horrible job with the manicure and I just got up and left!
