BEWARE! We were…read moregrateful when Jay (John) Baksa of Ranch on 6 appeared at our gates offering a free mow of our newly bought castle on Highway 6. He had his whole crew out who spent sunup to sundown clearing the overgrowth on the property. My husband genuinely liked Jay and we were both very appreciative. Of course, he knew what we knew - the grounds and pool along with the entire house would need an enormous amount of expensive work. That was his way of wiggling into the forefront, by way of one kind offer. And of course, we did call him when certain jobs came up, from gratitude. We needed a regrading in the back yard. Jay, of course, assured us that he knew how and knew what he was doing. Neither my husband nor I were none the wiser about this; that's precisely why we hire people who do it. It turns out, Jay didn't know how to either and he constructed some sort of bizarre dam that made the initial issue worse with water slopping back to the house. No pipe extending it out to the yard. He popped a tractor tire that day, and I just assumed that he would bring it back to clean it up and fix the deep ruts in the ground that he made with it. He, my husband and I discussed trees that needed to come down which were too way close to the house and a platform we wanted to be removed that held a giant chinaberry tree. He came by one day with a tractor and tried yanking down the platform WITH the tree in it?! Why?! God works in mysterious ways. He was unable to remove the platform due to rebar and didn't bother cutting down the tree. He DID chop down a 125-year-old plus fig tree which wasn't supposed to come down. Then it started to rain and Jay was unable to complete the job, thankfully. I was beginning to realize after researching Jay (John) Baksa that he is a con. Oh, and I picked up all of the trees refuse because Jay couldn't be bothered to clean up after himself. We have learned our lesson: Fraudulent intents will ultimately betray themselves in the end. He was professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and consistently provided exceptional service. The only reason I stayed with Massey Services as long as I did was because of him. Unfortunately, my interactions with the office management were the complete opposite. In my experience, Ryan, the General Manager, and Harvey, the supervisor, were unprofessional, argumentative, and lacked the level of customer service I expect from a company that values its customers. Instead of working to resolve concerns, the conversations became confrontational and left me feeling like my business was not appreciated. The culture of this particular office ultimately outweighed the excellent service I received from Patrick. I decided to switch to Aptive, and the difference has been night and day. The customer service has been professional, respectful, and focused on the customer. Patrick deserves recognition for the excellent work he does, but management's handling of customer concerns is the reason Massey Services lost my business.

He and his crew came out on a Saturday morning to get the dirtwork done before the heavy rains hit which we really appreciated as I know our horse did. We now have some beautiful stalls that are nicely built up and I don't have to worry about mud in my stalls. I highly recommend than and would give them a 5 out of 5 stars.
