There is a gentleman named coach who seems like he has fixed everything in the world because whenever I tell him my issue he knows exactly what to fix it with!! There is a gentleman in the fasteners section that loves Texas country. He is also a man of many parts and can tell you how to fix anything. Called to ask if they have in stock a "pull down attic stair" that mounts in the ceiling. The girl tried to look up if they have one. She ultimately doesn't know what I'm referring to Even after a lengthy description. Says she has never seen one and tells me maybe they have one, but for sure they could order one. What sort of answer is this? I ask her to ask her manager. I get put on hold for over 10 minutes. I hang up because I need to purchase a pull down attic stair and install it today! Damn, please put people on your phones who know what basic household components are. The store seems mostly full of teenagers who don't know a P Trap from pressure treated lumber! read more

This is the "neighborhood" hardware store. Usually a little bit pricier, but they make up for it. They have a little bit of everything, if you need a key made, some fine thread nuts and bolts, a new circular saw, or just about anything lawn and garden. The staff here is way more helpful here than at most of the larger stores in Beaumont. Besides all that, there are two driving forces that always keep me coming back!
