I shopped here pretty regularly prior to being told to leave after I was sitting on their lot catching up on reports. I gladly go a cross the street to the Shell near the Taco Bell where I'm not only welcomed but often thanked for making the area feel safe by those that drive through. If your clientele won't come into your store because of a law enforcement presence then you may not want that clientele there. It's very well known that this establishment is not LEO friendly.

Or unknown internet things took it down. The most likely explanation, it completely slipped through my mental cracks. Whatever the unexplained reason may be, here is my review. Insert typical ABC store review language: It is the cheapest. Go to these stores if you want the best price. Not up for discussion. It is legally binding that way. All that said, this location is not only one of the best for me location wise. But the selection is really good. The parking is really easy. And the staff is top notch. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and genuinely enjoy the people they work with and around. Always a really happy and interactive group.

I enjoy Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur and was disappointed to learn that this location does not stock it or offer the ability to request special orders. By comparison, other liquor stores allow you to request certain products and the Mountain Brook ABC Store consistently carries Solerno Liquor. Additionally, customer service could be improved. As it is now, the ambiance of the store does not encourage customers to spend more money. It encourages them to get out as quickly as possible. A greater emphasis on professionalism, courtesy, and customer engagement would enhance the overall shopping experience. While the store meets basic needs, there is room for improvement in both customer service and product flexibility. I recommend this as a liquor store if it is the closest. Just get in and out as quickly as possible. Their selection is less than that of the Mountain Brook Store but they have most things. I thought you could request a bottle or case of a certain liquor but they do not allow that. I enjoy Solerno, a blood orange liquor, but this store refuses to stock it. No greeting, no smile just a condescending stare and surly attitude that misrepresents Alabama retail friendly hospitality especially for a State employee. Fair craft/local brew selection in the cooler... especially for the size of the store. Keeps late hours, so that's a plus. Especially since this seems to be the only other liquor store besides the ABC on 31 between G'dale and F'dale. Made a purchase but didn't feel very welcomed. Nobody else was in the store, male clerk watching TV and didn't seem to care whether or not I stayed or left. Female comes from back and kinda shares the same "meh" expression about my wife and being there. So, this is a really small gas station and convenience mart. Located on Lorna Road near the 65 on…read moreramp it is in a somewhat congested area. They are kind of located on a hillside and don't have spectacular access for larger vehicles (referring to moving trucks, vehicles with trailers, etc). When I say small they have a grand total of 4 pumps, well two pumps that are 2 sided. For me they are just ok, it's partially because of my temperamental car. For some reason it is very, very picky about the actual pump that is put into it and will do the auto shut off unless I move the handle around several times at certain gas stations. This happens to be one of those gas stations. At the end of the day I was able to fill up and they filled my needs, but overall just a 3 star...nothing special, nothing outstandingly bad. They fit the bill for what I was after.
