This a cozy and inviting little indie coffee shop that serves great coffee and pastries. The scones are great, as are the lattes. It's not a big place, however they have a lot of patio seating in addition to seating for 20 or so inside- we've never had trouble finding a seat, even on Sundays. It's the kind of place that cities and towns across Canada need a lot more of.

Lovely new cafe in Whitby! This place is charming and cute with lots of vintage vibes. There is a nice patio for sunny days and lots of cozy seating inside. They have a loaf cake and a variety of scones here and an assortment of coffee and tea drinks. Their latte was pretty good and their cardamom latte was nice and strong. Scones were tasty and I enjoyed my blueberry lavender one. Perfect place for reading a book, doing creative writing or catching up with girlfriends! Every single corner is instagrammable too.

This place is all the vibes! My husband and I stopped by earlier today and absolutely loved this place. It is a friendly, family-run coffee shop with great family history. The interior design, decor, coffee and baked goods are all exceptional. Seriously one of the best lattes and scones I've ever had. Can't wait to return!

Flat white, drip coffee, blueberry and lavender scone and raspberry scone. Yum!

This place is like a step back into time. Quaint, eclectic, relaxing and wonderful! So glad to have a local coffee cafe that is reminiscent of so many others in TO and with a small town feel! Friendly and good prices as well. Don't miss trying it out! Scones are amazing! Lavender and Blueberry is our favourite so far!! Will definitely be regulars.

Absolutely horrible! The "raspberry" scone had about 1/2 of a raspberry in the last bite I took. The rest was flour, baking soda, water and a sugar glaze. Fire the "baker". Serious quality control issues here. And the Americano was SCALDING hot - like litigation hot. Could have seriously burned myself. Learn from the successful McDonald's lawsuit. Will never return.

@ M&L Motors Café. Loved it!!

Been to the place a few time, great atmosphere, great vibes. Lovely service. Recent complaints…read moreabout asking someone to leave apparently had to do with the patron crowing about war crimes in Gaza. Maybe just have a coffee when you go, and don't loudly delight in the wholesale killing of kids and forced starvation of a population. Some people just want to have an espresso.

Cork & Bean Oshawa chose to call the police on a peaceful, paying customer for wearing pro-Israel…read moresymbols and having a calm conversation. Let that sink in. My friend -- a Christian, not even Jewish -- was meeting with a pastor for coffee. He was wearing an IDF jacket and a Star of David necklace while discussing a recent trip to Israel. No shouting. No confrontation. No disruption. Just coffee and conversation. An employee called Durham Regional Police. Officers showed up and told him his conversation was "offensive." When asked what was said that violated policy, no one could answer. No rule cited. No clear complaint identified. Just vague discomfort -- and removal. So what exactly triggered this escalation? Not behavior. Not threats. Not harassment. Symbols. And Israel. Calling the police on someone because others don't like what he's wearing or the country he's discussing is cowardly and discriminatory. Businesses don't get to selectively silence viewpoints they don't agree with. And weaponizing law enforcement to remove someone over perceived "offense" is an outrageous abuse of discretion. If Cork & Bean believes visible support for Israel warrants police involvement, they should say that publicly. If they don't, then they owe an immediate explanation and apology. Until management addresses this directly and transparently, this establishment does not deserve community support. Do better.
