The coffee is excellent (both the drinks and the bags of beans), the baked goods are first rate (try the croissants) and the little space and patio are so charming. I also love how they sell costume jewelery from a local designer (I've bought funky earrings and a bracelet in the past, which I love). It's cozy neighbourhood vibes all the way.

But what makes a difference is the great staff and customer service. Very friendly. very helpful. It's easy to see why so many customers read books or do their work here. It's comfortable, warm, cozy, and relaxing. It's cleaned well. The bathrooms are clean. Floors, and tables too. Sitting inside feels like you're unbothered and welcomed. Plus the friendly staff even bring you your food once it's heated up to your table. Even now as I write this I see the owner mopping the floors from the salty slush people brought in. There is wifi and they have newspapers, so it's the kind of place to relax and stay a while. In the summer, there are a few patio tables. I've been to Ezra's Pound several times throughout the years where I've found that their coffee is consistently good. I recently stopped by Ezra's Pound again to grab a coffee. Service was friendly and I had my cortado there. The space is casual and chill with their black and white tiled floors and wooden tables. I ordered at the counter and was tempted to grab a pastry but decided against it. I also noticed that they had sandwiches you can purchase as well for lunch. After ordering at the counter staff were nice enough to bring my drink to me. My cortado was made well with latte art as well. Overall, a great neighbourhood spot for coffee, tea, pastries, or lunch. They were fresh, fluffy and buttery. The clotted crème was rich and delicious as well. The coffee was fragrant and delicious and reminded me of the blue bottle latte flavour. There are frozen scones which you can buy to take home as the scones sold out around 4:30pm on a Saturday so make sure to go early in the day. Of interest is that they offer picnic sets for rental including the picnic basket, dishes and blanket which I found to be perfect for that picnic photo day. Definitely check out this cute cafe if you're in the area. Parking was easy to find on the side streets for free and it's walking distance to Trinity Bellwoods park.
