I visited this place on a trip to Toronto, I was pleasantly surprised by the coffee, which was excellent, and the baked goods were just as nice Definitely a nice place to hang out. You could also sit outside when the weather is nice.

This new uptown location is good for those of us who live in the suburbs. It's located at the southeast corner of York Mills and Bayview. The coffee shop offers a take out window and inside dining. We chose indoor dining because we wanted to chillax for a bit after our brunch. I ordered the vanilla latte which was so good and my hubby ordered the chai with white chocolate and a shot of espresso. It was ok. I tried that exact drink before at their Gerrard Location and it tasted better. Maybe it was just one of those days... We did not try the pastries but they looked really good. The service was friendly and the shop was very clean. Their bathroom is spotless. They did not check the vaccine passport.

Half cold cheese sandwich....not a "grilled" cheese sandwich.

Ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. I was given a warmed cheese sandwich. It's in the name "grilled cheese". The sourdough bread was good but warming the sandwich in the toaster and serving it half cold was not very pleasant.

I came here on an early Thursday morning with a friend. It is close to Sunnybrook Hospital and with the restrictions in place, we both were looking for a place to have some breakfast while our family members were at their respective appointments. Although we mainly chose this place due to its location close to the hospital, I was very pleasantly surprised by the restaurant! It is super cute and had a parisian aesthetic. Even the washroom was beautiful. There weren't many tables but we were lucky enough to snag one right away. Their matcha lattee was beautiful and also delicious. Their ham and cheese croissant was delicious, although a little cold. I'm sure the staff wouldn't have minded heating it up but my friend and I were fine eating it as is. It was so good that my friend considered driving back afterwards to pick up another one! Parking is easy at this location since it shares it's large parking lot with the plaza that it is in. It is also very accessible by TTC since it's just located at the intersection of York Mills and Bayview.

    Large decaf Americano. $4.

Nice and cozy. Good espresso in their lattes and mochas. Wish hours were a bit longer. Recommend

The pastries and mochi breads are absolutely exquisite! I tried the black sesame mochi bread--light, pillowy, and filled with a delightful little white mochi surprise. The crème brûlée almond tart was incredible too, with its thick, eggy custard and a blueberry-almond center. And the Hitotoki matcha tart? Gorgeous and just perfect. It was my first visit, and I discovered the bakery through their 2nd-anniversary IG post. I bought about $20 worth of treats and got to spin their prize wheel--and I actually won the Grand Prize: a limited-edition gold Nespresso & milk frother kit! I literally jumped for joy. Yet another reason to love this incredible bakery!

It was okay. Tried three items:…read more Matcha Lava Tart - The staff said this had the strongest matcha flavour among their matcha items. But there was no "lava" at all... just a layer of cream sitting on a thick tart base. You do get some matcha flavour, but definitely not that rich and flowing matcha sauce I saw in those online reels. Matcha Mont Blanc - Too sweet. The green noodle-shaped topping is actually made from a kind of bean paste - not much matcha taste, but had a strong bean flavour instead. And again, it was too sweet to my liking. Taro Tart - This one was good. Taro-flavoured cream on top, with taro paste underneath, then a layer of custard with mochi at the bottom. Had a rich taro flavour. Still a bit sweet, but not as overwhelming as the Mont Blanc. Overall it was not bad, although TBH I haven't really found great matcha desserts in Toronto so far.

My wife always judges a French Cafe by their Butter Croissant ($3.00) and she liked it! She also noticed all the  staff speak French sp it gives it even more legitimacy.  She also ordered a Flat White ($4.50) which was also good. I ordered a Plum Almond Tart ($7.25) because it was the prettiest. It was super delicious so it was definitely a good choice! Service was courteous and friendly. You place your order at the counter and bring it to your table. Someone will come around to clear the dishes when you are done It is a great place to have a nice casual time eating and socializing. They make all their food in-house in the basement. There are products for sale such as coffee beans, fruit syrup, maple syrup, smoked sauces, olive oil, scented soap, wine glassware, etc. I will definitely come back again to try other items. There is free WiFi. The neo-bisto is not wheelchair accessible since there are stairs leading up to the entrance. There are two gender-neutral washrooms. There is free street parking on their one-way south-bound street. Review 2023-017

Hopped on my bike and a half hour later I was there. The friendly staff helped me by answering my question regarding eggs and which items did not have any in the recipes. This place was also super poppin' when I got there. It was earlish in the day around 10:30am and it seemed all the tables were pretty much taken. They are adding a dinner menu which is very exciting. Their pastries are phenomenal!!! Picked up a plum and pistachio tart, a chocolate mousse cake and an apple Danish for my mom. Plus a chocolate caramelized croissant. So much butter, and yet so good. Brought my container, which they happily used. The last time I visited this spot back in 2022, I vowed I would come back and take up space in that beautiful bay window seat. Yet I haven't followed through with that yet. One day. They also changed the name, since I was there last it was called Le Conciliabule Lab. Le Conciliabule means, "speak easy", as their website says. It was used back in the day to describe a place where people would come together and talk about everything and nothing. I can definitely say that happens here. What a beautiful concept, "everything and nothing". Now named Bisou, which means kiss. That's actually really simple and sweet. Since every pastry and any food item or beverage enjoyed here is a kiss for your tastebuds. Love it. Keep going team. You are amazing!
