He asked me to help him iron his suit and prepare the saddle for him on the day of the big ride and everything was going great until we the kangaroo showed up. THis Kangaroo was a big fella. He was fighter and a real mustang type of animal and my friend Jack started getting nervous as hell. I was soothing his nerves telling him that it was the right thing to do and keeping his spirits up. Instead of riding the kangaroo to the girls house Jack put the kangaroo in his truck and planned on riding it the last mile. When the kangaroo got in the whole affair turned ugly and the kangroo messed up the truck big time so we had to wash it a couple days later. We brought the truck here and it was really good for cleaning it.

The selection is pretty good for a convenience store, the bathrooms are unisex, single-stall, and clean (my wife says "best bathrooms I've ever seen in a place") and the guy working the counter was completely polite to me, a trans lesbian. Normally, if a place is just OK (has what you want, polite staff) I'd give it three stars, but with the single-stall, clean bathrooms I call this place a solid 4!

They have a small deli with made to order hot breakfast sandwiches (real eggs & bacon!), Hearty size burgers, pizza, homemade salads chili and desserts. Of course, there are the usual grocery items, petrol, and rest room services. The store is clean, warm, and very homey. Prices are excellent & their staff is the best! Mike's is also a big supporter of the V.A.S.T. trail system and that is much appreciated by us sledders!

Clean bathrooms with a good amount of stalls, ready made snacks, maple souvenirs and Vermont made spirits. They also have some hot food choices available. Hopefully we will never find ourselves in this situation again, but if we were passing through, would definitely stop by! Open 24/7: even during natural disasters and state of emergencies!
