If I could give KNC 50 stars, I would!  They are really fantastic!  KNC is a company run by two…read morebrothers--Gokhan, the older brother, treated us like family.  Ozkan, the younger brother, who usually is in the shop and cutting the slabs, is also very patient.  I mostly interfaced with Gokhan, who was just wonderful! When we first visited KNC's shop in January 2021, Ozkan (the younger brother) was very patient in showing different samples of countertops; we looked at what they had and he also gave us names of other marble suppliers where we could visit to look at additional marble slabs.  KNC fabricates and installs the marble slabs which you select.  We really appreciated the fact that they weren't pushy or rushing us.   They were very patient. After visiting 3 additional marble suppliers over the course of a month, we settled on a rare quartzite material, which was in limited supply.  One of the suppliers had the material that I was interested in purchasing (Cristallo quartzite), I selected the 2 slabs needed for the job; it was shipped to KNC's location, and when it arrived at KNC's shop, Gokhan discovered that the slabs were cracked and unsuitable for installation--he even sent me a video pointing out the defects.   I had no idea, as I am not an expert, but they are, and they really look out for their customers since they guarantee their work for 2 years, so they did not want to install defective slabs.  We were so grateful for the time and care Gokhan took to ensure that we were receiving a quality product.  We then waited a few more months for the marble supplier to receive a new shipment of Cristallo quartizite.  Once it arrived, Gokhan joined us at the supplier to personally inspect the slabs with us--we inspected many slabs in the lot, and he looked closely at the two slabs that I selected to ensure that there were no cracks or defects.  Again, Gokhan took such time and care to make sure I was getting the best product and one which I would be happy with.  Then the marble supplier tried to unpcharge me an additional $3,000 since the damand for kitchen slabs are very high--but Gokhan helped me to negotiate the price back down pretty close to the original price quoted in February 2021 for Cristallo quartzite.  Again, Gokhan really looked after my interests, making sure that we were happy and not taken advantage of. Then the fun began!  Gokhan came about 3 months earlier to our house to initially measure the kitchen counters, but he came to measure a second time, ensuring exact measurements, truly implementing the wisdom and patience of:   "measure twice, cut once."  I then asked if I could come back to KNC's shop to specify what sections of the slabs I wanted for the different counters and island in our kitchen, and we also selected a sink.  In early July 2021, the work was completed on time, to our delight and satisfaction!  I asked for a cutting board from the sink cutout of the Cristallo quartzite--the installers forgot to bring it on the day of installation, so a few days later, Gokhan personally drove and delivered it to us.   In my experience in dealing with contractors, I have never worked with people so kind, caring, and patient as Gokhan is, as well as his brother, Ozkan.  I would enthusiastically recommend KNC for anyone looking to install new countertops.  They are the best and we so thankful for them!

In that area, I have a faucet and shower head that don't match. I was told that I couldn't put a shower door there, but for additional $1300 had it installed by another company. Paint job was not finished, sink stoppers don't work and off center, and have a wallplate installed in the middle of a wall over electrical work. I was told this was code. Two additional companies came in and told me that is not correct. You pay for labor and provide all the materials. Read your contract very carefully. Representative said one thing, but did nothing that was discussed. I basically paid over $20,000 to have a tub removed and a shower installed. I can't give them any stars.

The paint they used on my ceiling is glossy which doesn't match the flat paint I already had..just an altogether messy job that cost me way more than what it's worth. Now, a year later my brand new cabinets are falling apart . Sorely disappointed in this business and would never recommend anyone use them ..save your money and frustration and please go elsewhere.

The thing I remember most about that first meeting was the personalized board they had up welcoming me and my spouse (Mr. and Mrs. D) - a really nice touch, albeit slightly incorrect as I was there with my husband, and when we went back to pick out selections they had updated it to be somewhat more accurate (The D. Family). Jim, the owner, was straightforward when we spoke with him and offered a competitive price compared to the other estimates we received. After we accepted the contract, Jim's sister and the company designer, Kim, was particularly patient with us as we spent upwards of two hours picking out the various components for the new bathroom, successfully finding solutions to mediate style disagreements between me and my husband. Overall, we were both very happy with our selections and excited for the new bathroom to be complete. The workers were excellent and displayed great professionalism during the remodel. The work began in early December, but was stalled a little bit due to the cabinet and vanity not arriving in time. The bathroom was functional, though not finished, before the desired Christmas date. It has been three weeks since the job completed and we have been satisfied so far with the bathroom. With the work, there were two (both immediately fixed) problems that stood out: First, the new toilet was installed slightly at an angle. We emailed Cardigan of the problem. When they came out the next time to continue working on the bathroom, the worker immediately saw the toilet was not level, apologized that he didn't catch it when he installed it, and made the toilet level to the floor. Second, when we started using the shower a week after installation, the shower was draining extremely slowly. Again, I emailed and called regarding this issue, and they fixed it that day despite Jim attending a funeral that morning. One of the workers came by that evening with a snake and fixed the problem. I was extremely impressed at their responsiveness. Overall, I am giving five stars due to the personalization, work quality, responsiveness, professionalism of the workers, and our happiness with the final result. When we finally move on to remodeling our kitchen in a few years, we will definitely be looking at Cardigan. They come over to measure, a few weeks to order, then a crew comes to install (1 day of work). Be aware that this is not a custom, hardwood type place (apparently a thing of the past - couldn't find anyone who does that anymore), but for a custom configuration of laminated composite pieces, it's nice.
