Easily 5 stars. Picked the countertops on Monday, they came and measured the counters on Tuesday and installed the countertops on Friday. Excellent customer service & excellent job with the install. Loved that they wore masks the entire time during the measurements and installation and inside the storefront. They were also extra careful to protect the hardwood floors. If I could give KNC 50 stars, I would!  They are really fantastic!  KNC is a company run by two brothers--Gokhan, the older brother, treated us like family.  Ozkan, the younger brother, who usually is in the shop and cutting the slabs, is also very patient.  I mostly interfaced with Gokhan, who was just wonderful! When we first visited KNC's shop in January 2021, Ozkan (the younger brother) was very patient in showing different samples of countertops; we looked at what they had and he also gave us names of other marble suppliers where we could visit to look at additional marble slabs.  KNC fabricates and installs the marble slabs which you select.  We really appreciated the fact that they weren't pushy or rushing us.   They were very patient. After visiting 3 additional marble suppliers over the course of a month, we settled on a rare quartzite material, which was in limited supply.  One of the suppliers had the material that I was interested in purchasing (Cristallo quartzite), I selected the 2 slabs needed for the job; it was shipped to KNC's location, and when it arrived at KNC's shop, Gokhan discovered that the slabs were cracked and unsuitable for installation--he even sent me a video pointing out the defects.   I had no idea, as I am not an expert, but they are, and they really look out for their customers since they guarantee their work for 2 years, so they did not want to install defective slabs.  We were so grateful for the time and care Gokhan took to ensure that we were receiving a quality product.  We then waited a few more months for the marble supplier to receive a new shipment of Cristallo quartizite.  Once it arrived, Gokhan joined us at the supplier to personally inspect the slabs with us--we inspected many slabs in the lot, and he looked closely at the two slabs that I selected to ensure that there were no cracks or defects.  Again, Gokhan took such time and care to make sure I was getting the best product and one which I would be happy with.  Then the marble supplier tried to unpcharge me an additional $3,000 since the damand for kitchen slabs are very high--but Gokhan helped me to negotiate the price back down pretty close to the original price quoted in February 2021 for Cristallo quartzite.  Again, Gokhan really looked after my interests, making sure that we were happy and not taken advantage of. Then the fun began!  Gokhan came about 3 months earlier to our house to initially measure the kitchen counters, but he came to measure a second time, ensuring exact measurements, truly implementing the wisdom and patience of:   "measure twice, cut once."  I then asked if I could come back to KNC's shop to specify what sections of the slabs I wanted for the different counters and island in our kitchen, and we also selected a sink.  In early July 2021, the work was completed on time, to our delight and satisfaction!  I asked for a cutting board from the sink cutout of the Cristallo quartzite--the installers forgot to bring it on the day of installation, so a few days later, Gokhan personally drove and delivered it to us.   In my experience in dealing with contractors, I have never worked with people so kind, caring, and patient as Gokhan is, as well as his brother, Ozkan.  I would enthusiastically recommend KNC for anyone looking to install new countertops.  They are the best and we so thankful for them! read more

This business is amazing! They were fast and friendly also the best prices and quality. After dealing with Custom Marble Design for almost 2 months and still no counter tops! I decided to take my business elsewhere and I am so glad I did! I received a much better deal for an even better quartzite imported from Brazil and manufactured in Italy, as well as saving me $1k vs the man-made quartz I was about to purchase from CMD. What I absolutely loved about their service is that everyone there was very nice, patient and professional. Within a week I had my countertops installed. I wished I would have gone to them sooner. When they came to my house for installation they were very careful to not ruin the the floors or walls. Also, the manager was making sure his employees don't get injured. They went above and beyond, we were behind schedule and they agreed to worked on a weekend to ensure that all countertops and backsplashes were installed. We used KNC to install a large countertop to our bathroom vanity. They had a great selection and helped us through the selection process. Their price was the same we received from IKEA (even after IKEA's discount!). And they got the job done in less than a week. The installers were quick and efficient - our countertops needed a seam and we have to look to find it. The KNC Team is an absolute pleasure to work with. Over the past year I had them do some custom granite fabrication work for me, with very exact specifications and polishing requirements. I had great results! Not only did I find an uncommon pattern in granite, but the installation and price was unbeatable. They were easy to work with and I never felt rushed while making a selection of stone. that was important since this was an investment piece in my kitchen. The free sink also worked out quite well... 1 issue...Keep on them about timing. The job is over quick, but he missed a couple of my appointments. Not wanting to pay Lowes or Home Depot as middle-men, I Googled granite businesses in the area of my new College Park home, which is being gutted and remodeled. I stopped by KNC because their website advertised $35/square foot granite countertops. I was underwhelmed by their location at first - a business park - because I assumed it was too small to offer any variety...until I went inside. They had tons of slabs to choose from (pun), not just granite, but quartz and glass, too. But, I can't afford those. I asked for the $35 granite and the owner, Ozkan, a Turkish guy, gave me six free samples to take home with me. They range from dark to light (see photo). They also had several $39/square foot options, but I really want to keep it on the cheaper end. Ozkan told me that they charge between $150 and $180 to cut out a spot for the kitchen sink (depending on size), but that they will come out to the house and measure the kitchen for free to ensure that everything fits. The price INCLUDES installation. Also, and this part impressed me, he showed me four different edges that they would do for free - Home Depot, Lowes, and IKEA all charge for anything other than the "standard edge." There were a few edges they charge for, but I thought they were, really, kind of ugly, so I plan to choose from the free edges. Oh, and I was told that there is no minimum square footage to get the $35 deal (which isn't important to me, as it isn't a tiny kitchen, but some people will find this helpful). If I end up buying counters from them, I'll try to remember to update this review. But, so far, five stars. read more

After checking out the big box retailers and looking at some local places online, I decided to visit the KNC showroom. Ozkan was very friendly and helpful showing me the different products they had. I was also given a sample of the granite I liked at no charge, which is a tremendous help when you are picking out paint and tile colors to match. Ozkan came out and measured the countertop and island in the kitchen and installed the next week. I also opted to purchase an undermount sink from KNC and have them install that as well. Just to give you an idea of their pricing compared to the big box places...they were $6.00 less per square foot, installed, which is a pretty significant difference! I am extremely pleased with my kitchen and highly recommend KNC! read more

I just had new marble counter tops and backsplash installed in my kitchen. Not only was Gokhan fantastic to deal with, but the quality of the work he and his team did was just impressing. Everyone who has seen my new kitchen commented on the quality of the the workmanship, not just of the counters buy also of the backsplash installation. KNC Granite is the absolute best!!! If you are putting in counters, they do a terrific job! They have a great selection, and they are super professional. They had me come in and select the portions of the granite slabs that I wanted to use, and they recommended certain portions of the slab for each piece so that once it was put together it would all have the same flow. I would have never thought of that. The installation was right on time and flawless! I am so glad we chose KNC for our kitchen remodel!
