I emailed Mark, who fired a message right back. I had to mail the scissors to M&M since we live halfway across the US from Wichita, but we had them back just two weeks later -- cleaned and polished, to boot -- for less money (including shipping) than it would have cost to have someone locally do regular shears. I was a little hesitant at first, seeing M&M Sharpening's sign in a residential window. But after a quick phone call with the friendly owners, I knew I was in good hands. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating. I dropped off my set of knives, and since I was going out of town, they went above and beyond to get them sharpened before my departure. I really appreciated them going the extra mile, but I wasn't able to pick them up until I returned. Today I got my knives back, and they are perfect! The price was also very reasonable. Overall very satisfied with their service. Left them with 4 kitchen knives (pairing, boning, and two santoku) and a pocket knife. All were returned with beautifully polished sharp edges and at a reasonable cost. Quickly as well! Dropped them off on a Saturday and they were ready for pick up on Monday. Aside from a very minor amount of "difficulty" when I went to pick up the knives, I have no complaints (after ringing the bell a few times, I had to call before the door was answered. Don't waste your time or money with these people. Once they get your blades, you won't hear from them for weeks and weeks and weeks! I emailed and never got any response, then called, they keep promising to get the job done. After finally getting my blade back ..... they didn't work. I just went and bought 2 more blades to groom my dogs. Because I gave up on THEM. AFTER 6 weeks, I blew up on the phone and went into a terrible RANT! They delivered my blades and brought me a brand NEW blade to compensate. It's really not worth the frustration. I will send my blades to California like all the other dog groomers in Kansas do. They have no sharpening skills in Wichita, Ks!! read more
