The shop looks run down and the prices are extremely high. Double the price of what you could get on eBay and potentially GameStop. The owner doesn't seem to care about his inventory, games were spread out on the floor behind the display cases. They were piled up on the floor. There was dust all on the controllers controllers n were thrown into multiple boxes and extremely unorganized. Only accepts cash and prices are even written on the game cases in permanent marker. There was even a Pitbull running around the shop. Shop was unsanitary I would not recommend this shop especially for collectors. read more

It's like this guy is scared of selling anything, he charges 50 bucks for a part that's worth 25 bucks brand new and refuses to bargain, never seen somebody so scared of making money. The place smells like dog urine and everything is covered in hair and pigeon poop. read more

I did not think the guy was rude. We went in yesterday to get a N64, a few controls, and a few games. He gave my boyfriend a discount for being a Marine. The guy runs a business and needs to make profit to support himself I get that. Of course it is going to be more then someone selling something on Ebay or Amazon, but, you get it right now and do not have to wait on un-reliable shipping. Also there is no shipping fee or tax here. The owner also check to make sure each remote works, each game works, and each gaming system works. You don't get that guarantee online. The only reason I have to give the shop four stars is the place needs some elbow grease when to comes to cleaning and just a heads up he does not accept credit cards. He has a huge selection. The presentation of this store is quite intimidating. We were traveling through the area and wanted to find a good local game store. Upon arriving here we questioned whether this was the right location or not. The storefront had no sign indicating it was "m+m games" we assumed we were at the right place by the tacky paint tagged store hours and "video games here" writing on the windows. The inside of the store didn't get any better. Stacks and stacks of games inside glass display cases with no organization to them. The prices were steep. Very steep. Between $10-$20 more then what you would find the same item for on eBay, with cases, and inserts. The gentleman who owned the place claimed he'd been in business for 20 years. With that amount of tenure you would expect some organization to the madness and fairer pricing. Don't go out of your way for this place. As much as I like to buy local, I'd rather spend my money at Game Stop. read more

This is one of the nicest guys I have met! He is super friendly and really knows his stuff! He sells all of his merchandise with a very fair price. I went in and bought a collectible game and it was in perfect condition. I originally went in looking for a PlayStation 3 controller but he didn't have any. This nice man let me borrow one from him so I could play my new game! I told him I am ex military and he has my word that I would bring it back once mine came in the mail. He told me if I would've told him before I bought the game he would've taken an extra 20$ off the game. I love businesses that support our military. I went to return the controller today after having it over the weekend and he insisted that I just keep it as a thanks for my service. He told me there's another store down the hill and I will shop there too. I will never forget his kind generosity! 5 stars, absolutely recommend his wonderful customer service! read more

This place was something else.... I warn you not go because the owner sells games waaaay to over priced then they should be and customer service is just lacking. I called once around 3pm and asked if he had Mario Party and Mario Kart Double dash and he just said "no"....nothing else just "no." For some reason I asked if he was still open and he said " No I'm closed for the day come tomorrow." Even though the store hours were from 10am-5pm....according to Yelp. The next day I went to the store and I saw as clear as day that he did in fact have Mario Party and then I asked how much he was selling it for and said $60... I know for a fact that Mario Party is not worth $60 because I've seen gamestop sell it online for $30 and I went to a REAL LOCAL GAMESTORE AND GOT IT FOR $30.... This store is honestly a joke. Also the store is a mess, once you walk there( I'm not exaggerating) it smells of dog piss and just plain dirty. I honestly think he lives there... The owner has a real nice dog, but is kinda mean to the dog. Has games just scattered or just piled in a cluster fuck. The only real cool thing about this place is that it has tons of games, but looks really mishandle. I love supporting local small video games stores, but this place won't ever get my money. If you're looking for retro games in Great condition and for Great prices...drive down hill or go to a swap or buy online because this place is just terrible.. This place is terrible. Pretty sure the owner lives in the back office. He may or may not have a porn addiction which causes him to always lock the front door. Once you walk into the store you'll be hit in the face with a very atrocious odor. Smells similar to a 1970's gymnasium locker room in the Alabama heat and humidity and the smell gets worse the closer her gets to you. I don't know if non food industry buildings have a health code but this place needs to be checked out. He'll give you a good discount on games that nobody wants but other than that you'll be paying full eBay buy it now prices plus some. And to make things even worse if you do actually buy something he won't have any change and it's up to you to go find it or add extra charges until your reach the amount you have. read more

I wouldn't bother going to this store. The guy running it is not the nicest guy around. He especially didn't like that I was a female gamer and talked to me like I knew nothing. He also tried to make me pay 25 dollars for a 4 dollar cord. Don't waste your time here unless you like being treated like shit. read more

This is not a good place to go. I mean, there's an impressive selection of games from a lot of different eras, but it's all overpriced. My friend asked if he had Earthbound and the guy was asking $150 for it and was rude about it, he went and looked online and found it for $5. The guy working there was rude and wouldn't even look at us, and he had a dog in there walking around and whining which I thought was weird. Some of the other reviews say he probably lives in the back of the shop, and I have to agree, he probably does. If you're looking for used and retro games I would recommend just looking online. read more

It has a lot of great stuff in the store I'm not sure about the prices, because I left after only being in their a few minutes. It was dirty and rundown inside and I didn't feel comfortable buying anything in their. I moved out to Victorville from Texas where their are multiple mom and pop video game stores that I loved going to because they were clean well organized and inviting. Great experience, went in for a Nintendo 64 and left with a system, 2 controls, and 2 games, (one was on the house). The owner knows what he is talking about and knows video games. This is my new spot for my classic games. read more

My bf and I went in there for the first time a couple days ago and bought a game for ps2. The owner told us if there was an issue to let him know and he would swap it for a different game, no problem. So we played the game for a couple hours and it got stuck on a loading screen, we let it sit for abo. 30 minutes and nothing. We restarted it, cleaned the disc, still stuck on the same part. The game is not playable. We called the owner and very kindly explained, he was extremely rude and said "I'll just give your money back" and hung up on us. When we brought the game in today he said we were "too picky" and he wouldn't "deal with us", threw the money on the counter and said "I showed you it worked fine yesterday". He showed us the intro to the game, which did work perfectly, it was two hours in that it stopped reading the disk. I will never shop here again, and will make sure I let everyone know not to shop here. The customer service was deplorable. Be careful buying consoles too, we watched him pick one up that was for sale, and basically throw it across the floor (it wasn't in a box). read more
