I'd be giving 0 stars if it was an option. Do not waste your time. This has been an extremely unpleasant and unprofessional experience. I contacted Morgan to support his local business, to assist with a refrigerator getting un-installed prior to having it removed. He resorted to name calling and hung up on me. Additionally he charges $199 for a house call to visit homes with Viking appliances(PER APPLIANCE) but is NOT contracted through the Viking company. I was referred by whirepool since I'm still covered under their warranty. Whirepool apparently forgot to send them the proper paper work and I've been trying to get a hold of this company to be the middle person to fix the issue. The receptionist emma( I think that's her name) pretty much said whirepool had to contact them and I let whirepool know. Of course Emma did not pick up the phone. I called her 3 more times and left her voice messages, on the 4th time, she finally picked up and she screamed at me, saying" we'll everyone in this office left me here alone so there's nothing I can do." And I all did was to inform her that whirepool has sent them an email. I'm sure the other workers and management in this office are great workers and I'm not sure why the receptionist thought it was appropriate to go off on a helpful customer. ABSOLUTELY the most UNPROFESSIONAL DISGUSTING PATHETIC customer service ever dealt with in my life.. been dealing with them thru G. E. trying to get a less than 1 yr old washer repaired and they lied from day one to the unfinished job.. office personnel are an ABSOLUTE EMBARRASSMENT to the company..filed a complaint with G. E. and they lied about the interaction we had.. i absolutely would not recommend them to my worst enemy..if their work is as bas as the customer service amazes me they are still in business.. anyone can check their reviews on their web pag and everyones complaints are just like mine.. read more

I have used M&S appliance for years to repair appliances in my home and at work, They have always been upfront and followed through put til now. Things have obviously changed and customer service and honesty is no longer a priority. I can no longer recommend them and would avoid using them due to their new practices. read more

I'm not very impressed with the service provided by M&S Appliance at this time. We purchased a brand-new GE Dryer 4 months ago. An issue with the dryer occurred where it would not heat up and dry the clothes. I contacted GE Appliances directly for the warranty repair and M&S Appliances was assigned the service call. I was precise with my description of the issue in an attempt to help the service technician isolate the cause so it could be repaired as quickly as possible. First, the earliest available time for the service call was 10 days after the request was submitted to GE. I understand that Yuma is busy this time of year and that was not really the issue though it was inconvenient. The biggest issue was after the technician arrived. We were informed that this was a "common issue" with these dryers and it was a simple fix requiring a new sensor. We were then informed that the technician did not have the required repair part on his vehicle and it would take up to another 10 days before they would receive the part and be able to get the dryer fixed. I have worked in a service environment for much of my adult life and not once have I ever had to tell a customer that a common repair part for anything would take over a week to arrive, especially after the customer had to wait a week for the initial service call in the first place. This situation was something I attempted to avoid by describing the issue as thoroughly as possible in the initial service request. As it sits right now, we will be without our dryer for nearly a month. A common repair part for a major band should be on every service truck in the company. If not on the truck, then a back-stock of them should be on a shelf in the shop. If the issue was not as common as we were led to believe, the service technician who came to our house for the service call should have been upfront and not blown smoke. UPDATE: It has now been over a week since the technician came out to look at the dryer. When I called them yesterday to find out the status of the repair part order, I was told that it was backordered and they wouldn't have it until February 20th at the earliest, pushing this warranty repair to nearly 45 days. In today's age of 2-day delivery, this is unacceptable. I had been in contact with a Customer Relations rep from GE up to this point and I contacted her again to let her know the status. I also found the part for sale on a website that guaranteed 2-day delivery. I was able to order the part myself and have it delivered 20 days before a company that specializes in appliance repair. When I called M&S to let them know I would have the part they were missing by January 31st, they told me that the earliest they would be able to get the technician out to repair the dryer was February 7th. They obviously don't have the manpower to fulfill their warranty repair obligations. I requested that a manager call me to discuss this issue further and never received that call. Not only does this issue prove that they are incapable of running a service repair business, they are also giving GE a bad name as the only GE Authorized service provider in town who will perform warranty repairs on appliances purchased from another retailer. UPDATE 2: January 31 I received a call from Morgan at M&S Home Appliance this morning. Rather than trying to work something out to get this issue resolved, he refused to speak with me to find an equitable solution. Instead, he called to inform me that they would not be finishing the repair. He proceeded to try to call me a "victim" and would not let me get a word in edgewise. Morgan refusing to fulfill his obligation for this GE Warranty service left very little options. Because of M&S Home Appliance's poor customer service and to make things right, GE is shipping me totally new dryer. I highly recommend using any other appliance repair company in Yuma. read more

I was referred to M&S by GE for a repair on a microwave (GE's model JVM3160). The technician diagnosed the problem as a faulty diode and magnetron. Evidently M&S stocks no GE parts and that it would take a week for them to arrive. He also said that taking it down (it's mounted under the counter) was up to me. I quote "I'm a repairman, not an installer". I'm a senior citizen and pretty well crippled up. It just astounds me that I have to hire someone else to enable a company to do a repair on an item well under manufacturer's warranty. It also astounds me that GE, a huge company, would do business with such an outfit. I've had service related jobs in the past and I would never have left my customers in such a position. In my opinion, all I should have been responsible for to repair a product under warranty, was letting them in the front door. I tried calling GE and got no satisfaction from them either. This is the second time we have had M&S work on our Samsung washer and dryer. The first call was under warranty for the washer. The second call, a couple years later (today), was not under warranty for the dryer. David knew immediately what the problem was and had the part to fix it. There was an issue with access to do the repairs so he gave us the options and allowed us to move the dryer ourselves. I have found David to be incredibly knowledgeable, both in determining the cause and doing the repairs. It is not a fault of M&S Appliance that manufactures have poor designs and use low quality parts. I read the other reviews and see that other customers were not pleased with the service. I however highly recommend M&S Appliance. read more

Needed my microwave fixed. Was told they would check it out and get back to me. the people in the office were helpful. I got the microwave back quickly. All fixed. The price was amazing. Morgan and Sharon care very much about their business and getting things repaired correctly. Would highly recommend! read more

This firm was out to see us last week....it is very disappointing to see a firm who has earned numerous authorizations provide such poor service. I love M&S Home Appliance !! I have had them pretty much in every house I lived in here in Yuma, they are the most honest, knowledgeable and sweetest people I have ever had to deal with. I love when they give me the facts on any appliance I have had , they give advice to make your appliance last longer. Nobody wants to wait 5-10 business days for a part ,but lets be honest with ourselves if they were to carry every part for every appliance they would be inventory broke and would have gone under by now. I read the reviews for them and I am shocked to see the negative remarks. I want this company to be around for ever, because I believe they are the best in Yuma. Not to many people are welcome at my house and I'm not known for having the best patience, but there are two companies I welcome with open arms and respect them very much M&S is one and Polar Cooling these two companies I will wait for as long as I have to , because I know at the end of the wait the job is going to be done perfect and not half assed. The Rep arrived on time and took a 30 second look at my GE washing machine and pointed to the bottom drive transmission that he stated was shot due to water leakage and pointed to rust, There was no rust to speak of! He then stated that it would be more to fix than a new washer and wanted the check for the $60 service charge. He didn't even want to write up problem he thought was there! I will never call or recommend them to anyone in Yuma! Feel these people are just after service call dollars and don't want to fix or know how to fix anything, total Scam!!! The service and timeliness were excellent. BUT please request a quote when making appointment. The service charge of $60.00 was reasonable. The themo fuse replacement charge was $32.00. BUT for the 15 minute service time, there was an added LABOR CHARGE of $97.50. The total cost was over $190.00. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The repairman was nice but did not fix my dryer. He told me that I needed to have the vent cleaned. I was having out of town guests so I immediately called Peeples Air Care ( who were great by the way). They were at my house that day. Needless to say, that was not the problem with my dryer. I immediately tried to call Ms Appliance but no one ever answered the phone. When I finally talked to the office girl the next day, she told me that it would be a week before they could come back. I asked to be put at the head of the line since it was a call back. Nothing doing. When I talked to the owner he told me that I had to work with their schedule. He wasn't going to work off mine. When I asked for my $60 back and the cost of the vent cleaning, which was an unnecessary expense, he told me that the conversation was over and hung up on me. I have used this company for at least ten years. So much for keeping your customers happy. Never going back. read more
