After receiving the deposit, I repeatedly asked for updates regarding the parts order and an expected start date. For more than a week, I was told that the distributor had not responded, that part information was still being verified, and that there was no confirmed date for delivery or installation. Because I have contractual obligations to my client and could not obtain a clear timeline for the project, I decided to cancel the work and hire another contractor. After I canceled, I was informed that I would be charged an additional $380 for a second visit and a cancellation fee. These charges were never disclosed to me beforehand, and I was not provided with any written agreement explaining cancellation fees or additional service charges beyond the original visit fee. My experience was frustrating because of the lack of communication, the absence of a clear project schedule, and the unexpected charges that appeared only after I decided to cancel. I encourage future customers to obtain all terms, timelines, and cancellation policies in writing before making a deposit.

Broke my drywall by using the wrong ladder and no attempt was made to fix. This is a rental so now time is money as I will need to fix, compound and repaint. I actually haven't even been up in the attic to work done as that was where the vent system was. Perhaps, there may be a follow up. Jose showed up about 30 minutes later and gave me a really affordable estimate. He immediately knew what the issue was--super knowledgeable about appliances! We had a few different handymen look at our dryer before, but none of them could figure it out. Jose diagnosed it right away. The very next day my food was chilled again thanks to him! I got a good-sized unit that fit into the space I have in my apartment. The one I selected was what they called an 'open box' model... The cost was significantly less than buying a new refrigerator. I guess it fell into the used category because it was a floor / display model. It looks perfect to me, smells brand new and doesn't appear to have been used. I probably shouldn't post prices as they likely have a variety of options but, when I was looking for a fridge, I had trouble finding even approximate costs for a used one... With that being said, I paid $350 for what looks like a brand new frost-free machine. I believe it's 15.6 ft.³ & it came w/a 6 month warranty. They also hauled away my old refrigerator at no additional cost. I thought it was super cool that they delivered the day after my first contact with them. Jose was very nice, helpful.
