Today, I called over 10 star smog check businesses, most of which could not use their machine for my older truck. If they were able to, the cost was higher than I expected. Finally, I called M & T Smog, and they were friendly, with the best price in a 10-mile radius. They took me as a walk-in, and the service was efficient! It took about 25 minutes, once completed, I paid and received my certificate. This will be the only place that I go to for future smog checks and I highly recommend this business to anyone! read more

Obviously, you are misleading people. The attached coupon clearly did not states it must be CASH, like you said. Secondly, there's NO sign at your shop stating credit/debit card fee would be charged unless paying full price (see attached photos of your shop price list). The closest B of A is 6+ miles away, and your employee told me that he cannot let me go that far. Thus, I asked him to call his boss/you but he said the boss's not available at the time. He said the local ATM (non-B of A) would charge me the fee anyway and why not just pay here (this proofs you trained your employee well). Last, your history states your business established in 1998 (see attached info from your Yelp listing). Do the math, 2023-1998= 25 years is NOT equals to over 40 years in business (15 years different)!!! The extra 15 years in business you added could be: 1) Either you must be moving from one place to other places by using and changing different business names all those years for something fishy or 2) You are very good at fooling people. All the proofs are shown. Where is yours? Unless you can show proofs of your 40 years of business, you are dishonest and a liar indeed. I have no monetary gain by writing any review. However, as a consumer, I hate being taking advantage of me and others, especially the sneaky business tactics. On the other hand, I hope you learn to redeem yourself and be honest - Please stop these unethical hidden fees. read more

Have fun looking over your shoulder with expired tags. Thankfully I live in close proximity to M and T Smog, who I've been going to for years. No fuss, no muss. Give them the paperwork, your keys, and you'll be back on the road in about 20 minutes. You'll leave with the state getting notified you passed your smog check. I usually wouldn't write a review for a Smog Check station after years of hassle free service, this one deserves it. Also look for coupons, not just on their website but simply doing a Yelp check in ($10 off as of 3/2018) and save yourself some dough. I plan on getting a new car this year but once my annual smog abatement fee is no good anymore I'll be taking it here. read more

I have a pick-up truck that sits in my driveway most of the time and therefore if I don't drive it or start it the battery goes dead. Well, that happened just as it was time to renew the plates ,which needed a smog check. I came to M&T for that check and the first thing the young man asked after greeting me was whether or not the battery had recently died. I said "yes" and he then told me that I need to drive about 100 miles or so before it will pass inspection. I never knew this and really appreciated him asking before I had spent any more time there. I drove it around for a week, brought it back in today and it passed immediately. It is nice doing business with someone who is friendly, seemingly caring and honest.
