I needed a simple mower deck drive belt for my HV machine. I looked up the belting in their parts list. I drove to MB (25 minutes) they recommended a belt, went home but could not get it on the machine. Back to the store, bought an alternative, back home, nope. Back to MB, bought the first belt again, went home and this time I read the manual more closely. Their parts personnel were very patient and helpful. In the phone business, they don't teach drive belt installation, my bad. Great company and staff. I am writing this because I am heading back to get a new belt! read more

Horrible experience tying to buy a tractor. Inexperienced staff and incompetent management are the hallmarks of this business. I was quoted a price over the phone and called back a few days later and they kept saying I wasn't in their system! And the stupid mgr asked ME why I wasn't in the system!!! I should have read the reviews before I even called this Mickey Mouse outfit!!! Now I'll do what so many others do and go get one down south. customer service with sales is horrible, I have purchased tractors in the past with great service, but not this time. If I would have known the hassle to purchase a tractor, I would have gone to another brand entirely. I have had to chase the salesperson for almost 2 weeks to have my tractor, today was supposed to be delivery day, and the salesman is not returning my calls. These guys are a joke. I bought a BX23S for 30K, have less than 30 hours on it, day 1 mower deck had issues, called and complained, they didn't offer to refund or fix it so I did. At about 25 hours on the machine blade spindle came off on the mower so brought it in for service $550, at 30 Hours, broke again $850. I told them it shouldn't have broke with a little over 5 hours on the machine later after the same repair. They blamed the issue on me completely and didn't work to resolve anything. Completely rude and ignorant with no customer care. Would never do business again. BUYER BEWARE DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. read more

The staff is generally unfriendly but I could overlook this if service was good. The service department here is completely inept. After this MB location failed to properly fix my robot mower, I decided to just finish the repairs myself. After I disassembled the mower I found that the inner seal had never been replaced, and it needs to be replaced anytime the mower is opened for service. If I hadn't found this mistake myself my $2,500 piece of equipment would have been completely destroyed the first time it rained. Dealing with this place was a huge headache. I had the mb tractor in Conway pu my tractor for a hot stalling problem, they had it two weeks after many call's & excuses & returned it for a $800 bill, I used it & it stalled again. a friend suggested mb in Gorham me, I called them, they picked it up on time, one day later Pete called & said the problem was a lower rad hose & there was no antifreeze in the motor & it overheated. He gave me a price & gave me a finish date which he kept. Pete is a completely wonderful service representative & he deserves a raise for his customer attention. the inept service I got from the original job done at Conway was horrendous, ( it cost me a $15,000 new engine)the service I got from Gorham was wonderful. if the owner of mb tractor would like to call me, it would be appreciated. MB Tractor is a terrible business to do business with. One of their employees damaged my new car with one of their awfully operating machines that caused over $2,000 in damage. They agreed to pay for it, but then the owner of the company overruled the manager's decision. They are a dishonest company. We will never do business with MB Tractor. MB Tractor can not be trusted. Asked for a quote on on service. Got a price brought in my tractor they tried to charge me more. Asked for a quote on an attachment said okay I'll pick it up when I pick up my tractor they didn't bother getting it ready and tried to change the price from the quoted price. No one knows what anything costs and they don't give a shit about their customers. I'll be going elsewhere from now on. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. While they were perfectly happy to take my money when I purchased a tractor, their service and parts department are awful. Let me explain. 1. I got a small puncture in one of my rear tires soon after purchasing the tractor. I called to get a price and was told a new tire would be around $120. At that time I was told that the tire could not be patched and that I need to purchase a new tire. When I came in to pick it up, I was informed that it was over $200 because they could not reseat the bead and had to put in a tube, and that there was a fee to refill the liquid in the tire. So I said wait, if you put in a tube anyway, why didn't you just patch the original tire and put the tube in that one. Answer: Oh we can to that, we already disposed of the old tire, sorry. Sorry indeed. 2. I broke one of the light covers for the blinker lights on the roll bar. Was told that Kubota does not sell the covers and I would have to purchase a whole new light assembly for something like $50. I decided to look on-line and I magically found another dealer who sold me the covers for around $10 each. 3. About 6 weeks ago one of the bolts that holds the anti-scalp wheel on the mower deck broke. I went in to order one and was told that I had to purchase the entire assembly. Wheel, bolt, and nut. Since it was under $20 I ordered it (and PREPAID). Fast forward 3 weeks and I realized they never called. I called a couple weeks ago and was told it was there and something "weird" happened which was why they never called. Went on vacation for a couple weeks and went in to pick this up yesterday. I was informed that the order had been closed and that my part (remember I PREPAID for it), was sold to someone else. So today they called and said the part was in. I just stopped in to find out that they ordered the wheel only, which I never actually needed in the first place. To make matters worse, they really didn't seem to care or even try to make it right. As a matter of fact, the service guy said, and I quote "Why are you getting mad at me, I didn't place this order". I dunno, cuz you don't seem to care at all maybe. When I told them to just give me a refund and I'd find it somewhere else his response was "OK". How about trying to find the part that I need. How about making this right? How about any customer service at all? Bottom line, I'd drive 50 miles to get parts and service for my tractor before I'll ever step foot in a MB Tractor again. My advice, buy your tractor somewhere else. And given the other one star reviews I see here, I am clearly not alone. read more

I would have given them 4 stars when I bought the tractor, but after today I'll find another place for any service. I got a small puncture in a tire yesterday and brought it in for repair. I was told it could not be patched since it was liquid filled. OK, so how much for a replacement tire? I was quoted $125 and when I came in to pick it up the bill was $200. Apparently the could not seat the bead so I was charged for a tube, labor, and the stuff to fill the tire. When I asked why they didn't just put a tube in the other tire (which is brand new), they said the tube would poke through the hole. I've put tubes in many tires with small holes so this is just BS. If I ever need service or parts for my tractor again I'll be going some place else. read more

Maybe I'm asking too much these days, but when I go into a business ready to drop 10's of thousands of dollars on your product, I expect to have your full attention. What that means is you hold your calls, you don't chat up other customers and you actually listen to what I am saying and what I want. I asked to test drive a particular Front End Loader and was totally ignored as he began chatting up another customer. Totally unprofessional and a waste of my time and energy. The salesman (you know how you are) should remove the "Customer Satisfaction" from your card. I recommend you avoid this place of business. read more

The most apathetic group of sales and service people I have ever encountered. Service department is awful. New tractor had setup issues and leaking valve manifold. Do they say sorry to hear that happened on your newly purchased tractor, we will be right over to take care of it? No. I wait almost a week for it to get picked up and 3 days and 4 phone calls before I can find out what was going on. Did it get delivered the day it was fixed? No. I guess I will just have to wait to see how long this takes. My fault though. All the warning signs were there from the start. Popped in to pick up oil and hydraulic filters and hydraulic fluid for our workhorse Kubota tractor. Place is cavernous and well stocked inside and out with tractors, other power equipment, add-on implements, and all the supplies you need to use and maintain your investment. Gentleman behind the parts counter was busy on the phone, but quickly another staff member came down an aisle and asked if I needed help. Gave her the part numbers of what we needed and she quickly got them from a back room. Had to get someone to bring down the big 2.5 gallon jugs of hydraulic fluid from the third floor stock as there was none on the main level. That was the only wait involved. We didn't buy our tractor here, so can't comment on the sales staff. Perhaps in the future. read more

Beware. M. B. Tractor sold me a used hydraulic breaker that they claimed was in excellent working condition. When I hooked it up to my excavator it was DOA. It needed about $10k of work to get it running. Since it was used I was SOL. These people are unhonest crooks plain and simple. No honesty or integrity. Have a little BX1800 for 18 yrs now. Other than routine maintenance, battery, oil, and filters it's been flawless. Everyone is helpful, the service dept has always been above par. Starting to show it's age, tires are weather worn, I guess 18yrs on a set of tires seems pretty good to me. The loader is awesome and that little tractor with a plow does my driveway with no issues. When the time comes I will get another Kobata from MB Tractor. read more

I had a rough experience with the purchase of two new front tires and rims. I was sold the tires and one was tubed when I specifically asked for tubeless. after they picked up the tire and returned the correct tubeless tire they gave me two right fronts and the tread pattern was reversed on one side so I had to make another trip and baby sit what I thought was a pretty simple purchase. I have had much better experiences with other local tractor suppliers and will not be dealing with MB Tractor for future purchases. read more

Best sales and service I have ever had buying anything. From the minute we walked in the dealership our salesman Pat made our buying experience a pleasure. Later we had a minor warranty issue and Pat went over and above and was in my garage the next morning with a new part fixing the issue. Worst company to have to do business with. They have service with an attitude and act like you are not important. they also act as if they're doing you a huge service or favor and they're going above and beyond just by answering the phone. They don't return phone calls they won't get back to you they won't inform you of parts you've ordered. This is the most difficult and expensive place I have to deal with and I have dozens of accounts. I cringe every time I have to contact them. I cant say that I've had even one other account that has been even close to as problematic as the one I have with MB. This also seems to be the case regardless of the location.. I just got off the phone with them yet again after not receiving the service promised and when I pointed it out I was disrespected and threatened.. extremely unprofessional. read more

Had a Boss Plow Installed on my new truck. I was out of state so I made an appointment and they started on it right away and got it done the same day. I'm not new to snow plows, upon inspection I found this install was professionally done, I was very happy. The service personnel were attentive, helpful, and courteous. The price was awesome too. OK. After extensive research, 1 undersized blower, and several bad dealers, including one who took my money and never delivered anything, I purchased a 30" track drive huskie snow blower from MB. It was a left over from last winter and a discontinued model. Scott, the sales man, was able to explain the features thoroughly and sold out for less that what I would paid online for the update model from an authorized online dealer - and he did excellent job explaining why I should buy from MB instead of online. The blower was ready after two weeks. It took a little longer to assemble than expected but that's because they proactively checked the manufacturer database and yes it needed a few extra parts. Power equipment can have a technical service bulletin just like a car. And they replaced the parts as recommended by the manufacturer. Perfect. read more
