0/10 -- absolutely would not recommend. I decided to try this salon after my regular nail tech moved away, and this was easily one of the worst nail experiences I've had. I went in for builder gel on my natural nails and spent 2.5 hours for a service that was poorly executed from beginning to end. The nail tech cut all of my natural nails down and THEN proceeded to tell me I needed a full set -- despite my nails being completely fine beforehand and not needing one before they were cut. That alone was frustrating and disappointing. I specifically asked for oval nails and somehow ended up with a random mixture of oval, round, uneven, and inconsistent shapes. None of the nails match, the shaping is sloppy, and the overall result looks rushed despite spending hours in the chair. Paying for a premium service should not leave you regretting the appointment the moment you walk out. I gave this salon a chance and unfortunately left completely disappointed. Mia, Lucy... everyone is amazing... the vibe is nice and the prices are soooo reasonable compared to the place I been going with better quality in my opinion. I will definitely be going back. This is my first time going to this place. I saw it when I had an appointment next door for my hair. I walked in and even though they were full, i asked if I could get a pedicure and they said yes. The place is nicely decorated and clean. They have a nice selection of polishes in the Wall to choose from. I asked for the water to be hot, and they actually listened. Usually I still have to ask for more heat at most places. Melissa was my technician. She was very friendly, even though she said she was not a people person. Haha She did a good job on my polish and Lucy did my design. Super cute! I will definitely come back here again. read more

I have been a customer here for 2 years and Prices are higher since new owners took over. Twice now, I've made appointments for polish only and the workers do full manicures regardless of instructions. This also results in higher charges. Not sure I will be back. read more

I had an appointment this morning at 0900. I went in and waited for about 28 min and noticed other ppl were getting served for appointment times after me. I told them that I had an appointment 30 min ago so when they looked it up they didn't see my name but I showed them the app that my appointment time was confirmed. So they brought me to the back to get my eyebrows waxed and then the nail tech had me soaking my nails. I was soaking for about an hr and asked where did my nail tech go, to which someone replied she went next door to get her hair done???? I waited another 57 min and was fed up. I got up, paid for my eyebrows then left because I didn't want to make a scene. By the time I left it was 1120 in the afternoon. This was by far the worst experience ever. Never again. Had a pedi today. I had a gift certificate for a deluxe pedi $50. It was a waste. I hoped for a good foot massage. Sam rushed through it. I get home, took a good look at my toes. I had to trim off cuticles, polish had chipped off one toe already. I have been going there for a number of years. This has to be the worst visit I ever had there. Not sure I will return. I had a limited amount of time and these ladies went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of in under an hour getting multiple services. The climate is nice. The place is clean with nice music. Unfortunately, I wasn't offered a price sheet and felt I paid quite the premium. That being said, the customer service was great. Just be aware of what services and the prices you're being offered and committing to if you aren't offered a pricing sheet. read more

This salon is ok. I will be shopping around and only use in case an emergency. The first time I went to the salon was in the morning right as they opened. I was the first in line and there were two other people behind me. She asked if we had an appointment and I said no and neither did the other two people. They signed in five minutes after me and was seated for their pedicures before me. I waited an additional 20 minutes and it didn't appear that I was going to be helped anytime soon so I left. I went back a second time with a friend of mine an hour before they closed. We only wanted two pedicures. When we walked in the door we were met immediately and told they were closed so we left. Thinking third times a charm. I went back by myself for a manicure and pedicure two and a half hours before closing. I sat and waited for 30 minutes, was finally seated for a pedicure and I will say that the technician did not know what she was doing. My pedicure took two hours. By the time she was done they were closing up. Mind you I went in for a manicure and pedicure two and a half hours before closing. The technician didn't even finish my pedicure another technician had to step in and complete the job. Needless to say I only got a pedicure and did not get the manicure. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon and third time was not a charm. They are very nice people, but I don't think I'll be doing business with them again unless it's an emergency and I have three hours to spare. read more

I came here off of a recommendation from a friend who sees Peter. I got a pedicure and a full set with gel which cost me $70. The atmosphere was great but after I left, I noticed my nails were uneven and they looked more like duct feet than a slim squared nail. I went on Monday and now it's Thursday. One of my toes is already chipped and one of my nails popped off. I was really hoping to like them considering how close they are to my house but I don't see myself going back. Like I said, everyone was super friendly but I wish he would have double checked to make sure all my nails were the same length and shape. read more

This salon is really nice. They have more color choices than I've ever seen. So I thought it was gonna be a great time. False. Peter and Phillipe constantly made sexual and even racist comments. I have never felt so uncomfortable. So that was enough to turn me off by my second visit as I had been worked on by a girl in the back the first time. On top of this, my nails were not consistently shaped. They were not the same length, bumpy, and all slightly different shapes. I experienced this with both visits so it wasn't just that I had a bad technician. The first time, one of my nails began to lift within 5 days so I went back and asked for a repair. Peter didn't charge me but he also didn't effectively repair the nail. It was still lifting in the corner. By the time I got my 2 week fill, most of my nails were lifting and Phillipe didn't take them off it repair them, he just filled over them. THAT NIGHT THE ORIGINAL LIFTED NAIL POPPED OFF. By two days later, 5 of my nails had popped off so I had to remove them all. I am not tough on my nails and have never had this experience in the past so I attribute this to the lazy work of Polish Me Pretty where they are more focused on making sexual comments than their work. read more

Seriously, 5 stars for this great place! The salon is beautiful, clean, the equipment is sterilized and there are massaging chairs while you get a pedi! I also got acrylics for the first time, it was done by a handsome young man by the name of Mike who was very sweet and friendly (sorry ladies, apparently he's married) and omg did he do an amazing job! I was just passing through Bossier when I decided to get them done and now it's almost 3 weeks later and they honestly look just as gorgeous as the day he did them (I've gotten so many compliments) and Im heartbroken I've got to go to someone else to get them maintained. So ladies of Shreveport and Bossier City; you are so, so lucky you can go to this salon regularly and have a true expert do an amazing job for you. Im honestly jealous of every single one of you. Worst experience at a nail salon ever. Apparently I had a new guy do my nails which left every single one of my fingers cut to the point of bleeding. My nails were also bumpy and uneven. Instead of giving me a discount for this terrible experience, they OVERCHARGED ME!! When I informed one of the workers I was overcharged, she was incredibly rude. I paid $80 for a dip mani and pedicure but it was terrible. He did not due my cuticles for my manicure and didn't go all the way back. I have only had the manicure for 1 week and the nails are already pilling off. Everything was just awful and rushed. Now i have to go pay to get my nails redone because they look awful. read more

Peter's ignorant, obnoxious, clearly uneducated and rude. As for Lucy, maybe you need to ensure and maintain store cleanliness and instrument sterilization. If you should decide to use this nail shop "Polish Me Pretty", I suggest you watch their work first hand before letting them complete and over-charge for work they clearly can't do.
