I don't normally write negative reviews, but I feel it is important to share my experience. I booked Missy from M Crush back in November for myself and my wedding party's hair and makeup, including a trial run for my mom and me. Because I was excited, I paid the full amount upfront and unfortunately didn't pay close enough attention to the non-refundable deposit clause. From our very first encounter, things did not go well, but I moved forward hoping it was just a bad day. At that initial appointment, we set the trial date and confirmed the wedding day itinerary. In February, I messaged her about ordering hair extensions for my July trial and went in for a color match. I assumed they were ordered then. However, when I arrived for my trial months later, the extensions weren't there because she forgot to order them. Because of this, we could only do my makeup, and I was highly disappointed as it looked nothing like the reference photo I provided. My mom was also completely dissatisfied with her hair and makeup. Missy seemed incredibly distracted during the appointment--she didn't even remember she was supposed to do my mom's trial that day. To make matters worse, she then asked, 'So what's the plan for the day of the wedding? Are you coming here or what?' despite us already having established that she was traveling to our venue for a 9:30 AM start. At that point, I lost all confidence in her ability to deliver on my wedding day. After consulting my bridal party, I contacted her to request a refund. When we reviewed the agreement, I acknowledged the non-refundable deposit. While I respect that this is a business, the lack of professionalism and multiple errors were entirely on her end. I feel a full refund was warranted given the circumstances. Furthermore, she initially refused to refund the hair trial we couldn't even perform due to her mistake. She eventually refunded only half ($107 out of $215). I tried to remain kind since I still needed her to install the extensions once they arrived, but when I later checked on them, the order was completely wrong. I requested a refund for the incorrect extensions as well, and a week later, I am still waiting for those funds. I do not recommend using M Crush. read more

So we were only able to do my makeup that day. I was not happy with the look as it didn't look anything like the picture I showed her. And my mom was disappointed in her hair and makeup as well. After that appointment, my mom and I both texted her telling her that we would like to make changes the day of the wedding . She seemed so distracted that day she didn't even remember that she was supposed to be doing my mom's trial as well. Then she asked so what's the plan for the day of the wedding? Are you coming here or what? And I then told her that she is coming to the venue and supposed to start at 9:30 AM. At that point I did not feel confident in what was gonna happen on my wedding day. With everything that happened that day it was just on my mind that I didn't know what to expect and not confident that I was gonna have the look I wanted. So I spoke with my Bridal party, asking their advice on what I should do for us. I decided to contact her and ask if I could get a refund. She asked me to call her in a few days. When I contacted her, we went over the agreement which that's when I realize the nonrefundable deposit. I know it's a business and she has to make a living, but when all the things that went wrong were on her and I wasn't confident I feel like I should've gotten the whole refund not just half. I asked her about the refund for the hair trial we didn't get to do, she said that she doesn't normally give a refund for the trial. I told her it wasn't my fault that you forgot to order the extensions. Out of $215 for the trial she refunded $107 back. But I still had to go to her to get my extensions installed so I was trying to be kind. Then when I contacted her to see if the extensions were in, the order was wrong. So I asked for a refund for that as well. I'm still waiting for that refund a week later. I don't recommend using M crush. read more
