We chose this salon for our first visit because of its four-star rating. We were greeted right away and seated quickly. The salon was clean, and the staff was friendly. We went in for pedicures, but the pressure to add on more services was a bit much, and "no" wasn't easily accepted. There was a wide range of pedicure options. I chose the $50 deluxe pedicure--typically, that price gets a very thorough service. At this salon, however, the massage only went up to mid-calf, and there was no exfoliation or heel care included at this level. When I asked about it, I was told that heel exfoliation is only included with the highest-tier pedicure. Overall, the service lasted about 20 minutes and included fresh polish and paraffin wax, but it didn't meet expectations for the price. I'll be trying a different salon next time. read more

Service is great but this is my 3 rd visit and prices have been reasonable until today. I got an acrylic fill and simple basic short French tip. From $55 total last 2 time to $65 this time with charges for "nail art" and "shape" when she just shortened what was already shaped. Makes me want to reconsider coming here. My nails look great but didn't plan on the addition of 10$ that cut into her tip. read more

These are my nails after gel nails. Not only am I follow the steps have have with ALL other gel nails but these nails literally last two days before they start peeling off. I called and went by to have them fix it and they wanted me to reschedule because they were busy. Yeah I don't care I already paid $60 for these and they were for the weekend and were jacked up. So requested a refund nope they would t do that either. This place is the the reason now why I won't be returning to nail salons. Sick of the over charging and the products are crappy. read more

Clean space and friendly staff. They give honest wait time estimates and stick to the appointment time if you made one. Lots of selections and QUALITY powder and supplies. I've been to various salons in town and the quality just isn't there. I'm tough on my hands and if the powder is old or low quality my nails break easily. Not coming here. They last between appointment no problem. Great pedicures as well. I thought I lost something here once and the owner was quick to check video camera (before they were even open) and even sent me screenshots of the video where I had actually put what I thought I lost back in my purse. I have been going to this nail salon for about a year. My last 2 visits were terrible. 1st bad visit I was told the color I wanted would not show up unless I chose gel. I agree it would have taken a few coats and I have gotten this color previously with no problem, but trying to explain it to the lady didn't work. She made me pick a different color. Even though I chose a middle price package she rushed through the entire pedicure. Which is why she didn't want me to choose a light shade. She wasn't about to take the time for 2 or 3 coats. Second bad visit was my last. I had a gentleman nail tech. He was anything but gentle. He was rough and rude. He asked if I wanted gel after I chose my color. After inquiring about the price I was told $40 extra. I politely declined and said just regular. While he was getting me a hot towel in the back the lady next to me told me the price for gel upgrade was $20 not $40. Then when I went to pay the lady I font of me had a gel pedi and the computer screen showed the $20 upcharge. Confirming what the lady in the next chair said. He tried to rip me off! I work a really physical job and don't make a lot. No way he could have mistaken me for being wealthy. Even if I was the practice of not having a set price is wrong. I will never go back. There are at least 30 salons in Abilene. I will go elsewhere! read more

I got the pedicure by walk-in right when they opened. I was surprised they were so quick to get me seated right at opening time even with being busy. I don't understand these high reviews. I went here because my regular place couldn't get me in for awhile and I read really good reviews. I show them what I was asking for. I really don't think it was complicated compared to a pic I saw on their page. It should have been cake. I'm sure it was something they do every day! It was just an ombré design! I had 4 diff nail techs sit in front of me.. 4! Why?! Then while I'm sitting there it's obvious they were talking about me and the design but talking in their own language and laugh. I was uncomfortable from the get go. The girl told me they couldn't even do the nail shape I was asking for (which was Almond.) That she couldn't make them as "pointed" as in pic. I said that was fine but what I ended up with were almost oval! Why can't a highly rated place do a simple nail shape?! I will NEVER EVER go back there. I wouldn't EVER send a friend/stranger there. They weren't friendly in my opinion at all. Nobody likes to be talked about right in front of you. As far as price, ridiculous! It was more than I paid for my pedicure at my other place! I couldn't believe it was $65 for dip + ombré! I didn't even get tips, was just on my regular nails! This would've cost me $50-$55 at my regular place.
