A couple of days later, the…read morevehicle displayed a charging system fault and I emailed them to advise of this, they told me to have it diagnosed, I did and paid to have it "fixed", however, the error was only the tail of the problem, one of many misleading errors showing to the diagnostic machines, this vehicle is a big problem. Over the course of the year ahead right up until today, the car has developed several errors, twice dangerously all the lights started flashing, power steering stopped working whilst I was driving, and I am left with it. I did email the company a couple of days afterward, but they were unhelpful in my opinion, I have spent over £2000 to remedy the problem, at no point did Parkhills Car Centre offer to fix the problem. I did have the AA, an official Landrover dealer deal with each problem as well as a couple of individual garages that dealt with each error message in the best way they could, however after only a couple of uses the car would throw up more errors, what a nightmare. The dealer has denied there was a problem since I purchased it, however the sheer number of problems indicating anything from the key receiver requiring replacing (Cost over £700, done by Landrover Inverness) after the vehicle decided not to recognise keys or start the car, to the constant error, shows how unreliable and indeed unroadworthy the car was. At no point has the company offered to take the car and fix it, instead they argue that the problems are nothing to do with the charging system fault error. All along the vehicle is showing 15.1V power, I have replaced both the alternator and battery twice to no avail, as well as the key receiver being done by Landrover Inverness. Parkhills may reply to this with a load of guff, but I am willing to share receipts on demand, as well as contacts of those who have worked on this worthless piece of junk. I would not purchase from this company again, never again.

No charge, something about a dirt trap on the brakes that needed adjustment. I am very very suspicious about garages after my previous one which let a strut rust for 5 years until it snapped and ruined the car - they can be dishonest in so many ways. I dropped my car in for an MOT recently, and was pleasantly surprised to find that they'd cleaned and hoovered it, free of charge. I've never been to a garage where I can expect to have honest and genuine advice, regardless of the financial incentives for the company.

They have a good, simple business model where it makes financial sense for them to treat their customers properly. As a single woman, it was refreshing to be treated as an intelligent adult. Car was advertised online, fitted my needs seemed a good price, so I called and reserved. Easy to arrange a test drive. There were a few minor issues with the car, which they fixed and had it MOT'd and valeted 2 days' later. The office staff arranged the tax, and I was set. Even after doing a lot of research, and being confident the model was reliable, I still had a niggling doubt about such a good deal being legit, but everyone there was upfront, friendly and helpful. The nearby Arnold Clark in Stretford does have Vauxhall however, but this confusion should be addressed. The dealership is fairly large, and it is split across a large MG building, and a smaller building with FIAT. I was more interested in taking a look at the new FIAT 500 electric model, which was in the smaller building. They did appear to be understaffed, with only one staff member working, he didn't appear in the slightest interested in communicating with me, he provided very little information about the car and just left me to it, I felt like a nuisance and a bother just by speaking to him. I wasn't too impressed with the car overall, mainly down to the size, it felt comfortable to drive but the lack of space wouldn't have been suitable for my needs. I was impressed with the service at the nearby Arnold Clark dealership but was left disappointed with this one. You wouldn't think they were in a commission-based game! 2*

They won't take any responsibility for it and now I am left with a bad credit score, it went from 946 to 720 and also no vehicle. When addressing this with the staff and management, their response was "well just cancel the car then" and "it's not our issue". 8 weeks later, and I am still in the same position, no vehicle and a bad credit score. He showed us around many different cars but did not try to push any of these onto us. It was a refreshing change that a car salesman did not try to close the deal there and then and i would thoroughly recommend this showroom to anyone wanting a quality nissan.
